low impact options for plyo moves and split jumps

Hi,

I can't do any high impact moves, such as the plyo moves or split jumps shown in the blog. Are there alternative moves that will be shown? Thanks, LG

Do you have a rebounder? I use my rebounder for Cathe's high impact moves that would be hard on my knees. But that would be great if she had some alternatives for those who don't have one.

You could still get benefits from keeping them low, lifting just a couple inches (and I literally mean "two") off the ground, or just barely lifting off the ground, and concentrating on dipping low on the 'bottom end.' You could even keep your toes on the ground and just power up to tippy-toe on the top end.

Thanks, I don't have a rebounder, but that's a great ideas! I think the options suggested would be great for the plyo moves with dipping low and powering up to tip toes! I always get great advice from the cathe community. AG;-)

Don't forget that the plyo moves are included for those who cannot do the pure strength routine because of lack of squat rack. If you have one, you can leave out the plyos!

I sub plyos moves with kickboxing-kicks. A few round-houses will keep your heart rate up.

OOps, no I don't have a squat rack.

Robin,

what are round houses? Maybe I need to learn some kickboxing stuff. LG:D
