I've had my LIC for awhile now but have only just played it. I was so immensely frustrated that I turned it off. I could not hear Cathe over the music! Has anyone else experienced this? I thought I'd ask here first before taking it to Cathe's customer service.

Thanks!

Hi - no, no issues on my DVD. I can hear Cathe's voice fine. Could the "music louder" option be accidentally on?

I just got this workout and, yes, I thought the music was too loud for her voice. I thought that maybe when I had previewed the disc I must have selected something with the audio. But, when I did the workout the next day, I made sure to click on Normal, and it was still obnoxious. I did manage to get through the workout, but with difficulty with hearing her cues........

YES!! I have the same problem!! The music is WAY too loud compared to her voice. The audio seems to change in tone too at different times in the workouts. Like sometimes you can actually hear her, but then other times other times you can't and her voice fades off into the background.

I thought it was my disc because I bought if off of EBAY. I was told that it was a replacement DVD from Cathe.com, but I still have no way of telling if it's a reliable original or not. I know, I took my chances!

I tried to have my hubby look into it today actually, but agreed it must be this disc. Obnoxious is a very good word for it! I still love the workout though, so I just deal with it.

Yes! I have the same problem on mine too. It's very loud. I bought my copy directly from Cathe over a year ago. I never thought to ask customer service about it.

I don't have this problem either. In fact it is my current favorite workout. I love it as is as well as the premixes. Is there another option for listening? I don't remember.

On my DVD remote, there is an "Audio" button that will allow me to switch between the audio tracks. There are three ways to hear this workout, and maybe your player (or the DVD) is picking the wrong one, even though you are doing it right. See if you have that button on your remote. (Or it could be called "channels") I've played around with it all three ways, and I can see where the "music louder" option would be frustrating if you were just learning it.

I did ask CS and they recommended that I had the music louder option on. I didn't.

Obnoxious is the perfect word. I'm disappointed to have a problem with a Cathe product. I've never had a problem and have always been a staunch (if quiet here on the forums) Cathe supporter. It's disappointing.

That said, I will probably turn off the music and learn the moves with just the voice option, then the issue of not hearing Cathe's cues won't be so irritating.

But, I really like having the music during a workout. It gets awfully boring just bouncing around to Cathe's voice (no offense intended).
