Love High Step Challenge!

Just wanted to post that I love the new Hardcore High Step Challenge. The workout is so much fun and the music is awesome! :)

Tammy, I hope you love it as much as I do! I was a big fan of High Step Training Advanced, but I like this one even better. The aerobic sections are a little more creative and there isn't nearly as many less presses.

this is on the agenda for tomorrow morning!

I have to concur with you all! I love this workout. The music is awesome and the way the workout is formatted just makes it a riot.

I did it yesterday and was pleasantly surprised. I expected the cardio blasts to be killers and they weren't. The music was good. The only thing that bothers me is the constant changing of equipment and fast weight changes. Cathe goes very quickly between exercises on this one. But is was only my first time doing it, so maybe once I know it better, I can get my stuff more organized and be more speedy.

I found it helpful to do 10 10 10 beforehand because I am one of those people who finds it very difficult to do the Boot Camp blasts where you go from standing to aerobic or anaerobic threshold very quickly. I thought it might be less stressful on the body if my heart rate was already elevated to begin with and if did help.

Basically this workout is Boot Camp II with a few high step its thrown in. So, all those people who wanted a Boot Camp II: you got it!

I love the variety this workout offers. Though, a couple cardio segments didn't really get my heart rate up much, it's still fun. I don't think this compares to Boot Camp. The cycles in BC move much quicker and your heart rate doesn't really come down. This one provides more of a strength challenge for me vs. endurance. IMO, nothing compares to BC. That's still a goodie in my book.

I did this workout first out of all the HC's. I KNEW it was going to be my favorite. I LOVE IT!

I have High Step Challenge but haven't tried it yet. I'm glad to hear the great reviews you all are giving it. Boot Camp is one of my personal favorites, so if it's anything like that I will be thrilled. I'm just afraid of massive leg presses whenever I hear the term 'high step'. For some reason I dread leg presses even though I know it's really good for me! Please tell me that it isn't too bad in that respect...

For whatever reason, this one seems to kill me more than any other one in the HC series (Disclaimer: I don't own High Step Extreme or Kick Max). That's why I love it - it kicks my butt.

I have only done this one once. I liked it a lot. I can't decide between HSC and MM for my workout tomorrow. I have done MM on Monday and Thursday and may want to get it in one more time. Decisions, decisions....

My only complaint about this workout is that it doesn't have any premix that does cardio + upper body only or cardio + lower body only. So I played the workout today and just skipped the lower body exercises since I did that yesterday. Sans the lower body work, I could still hear my sweat dropping on the mat.:)

OH MY!!! I did HSC this morning - I thought I was going to die...no lie. I loved the cardio sections using the mini step. The choreography was creative and fresh.

I thought this workout was much harder than IMax3. I did enjoy it, but I now know that this workout is a toughie for me.

I really enjoyed the core workout on this dvd - very thorough. The music was great too.

What a challenge!
