Louder music option

BUMPING - SNM - is someone going to respond to this? I think that at least someone should respond, one way or the other, so that people have a reply to their question.

I would like to see the music louder and music off option. Well, I wouldn't turn the music off but I would turn it up :p.

Probably not, it might cost them some sales. It would be nice, though. Sheesh.

Hi Cathe,

I like everyone else are eagerly awaiting your new dvd releases and would like to add my request to everyone elses for the "music louder" option. I use this all the time on your other workouts:)

Is it now SNM's strategy to just ignore their customers? I don't expect by any means that you will be able to accommodate all the demands of all the people and make everyone happy, but wouldn't it be at least reasonable to your customers to answer the questions?

If you are choosing not to put this option onto the DVD because its too complicated or something, couldn't you just say so? Ultimately it is your decision, and you may have a completely legitimate reason for doing so, which no one will know if you ignore the question.

I just don't understand the apparent strategy here of just ignoring completely the question and not addressing it.

If you are going to add it, then you have just made this list of people completely happy. If not, well that's our loss, but at least we'll know the answer to our question.

I don't get it....

Well Punky...I had more or less decided not to pre-order anyhow, and that's rare for me, but now - at the eleventh hour- NO WAY!!!

I don't really understand why the 'Ask Cathe' part of the forum even exists. It's basically non-functional so why not just get rid of it?

I don't really see how I was being rude. I asked a question a couple of times and then just asked why it wasn't being answered.

I don't really feel that's being rude. I love Cathe's stuff - have every DVD she's ever produced. I just thought that as a loyal customer she could answer my question, one way or another.

I even understand that maybe there is some good reason why they might be no longer adding this option. I just want an answer.

Is it rude to expect a reply?

I think it's reasonable to want an anwer to this question, especially near the end of the first pre-sale price tier, to be able to make a more-informed decision. And I also don't understand why SNM couldn't answer even by telling us that the decision hadn't been made yet.

However, I agree that the tone of your original post (before it was edited) was a bit harsh, and THAT was what was considered rude, not the question itself.

Expecting a reply is not rude. The tone was rude. Particulary one poster. Don't think it's necessary to say names.

I'm not sure what you are talking about here. The only thing I ever edited my posts for was for spelling. And that was done immediately after posting (I'm notorious for making spelling mistakes).

So I'm not sure how you could judge my original posts as you would have never seen them. The original and the correction would have been within a minute of each other.

At least my comment was not focused towards you... It was the comment re why do we even have the forum since it's non functional... Seriously you think that is going to get a positive response?

Generally saying things in a way like that does not get desired results... a little sugar with a message usually is much more effective! I work with a few folks who use the brute force, intimidation approach all the time and it certainly never motivates anyone to go the extra mile.
