LOST!

Okay, I admit that I was sitting on my couch crying my eyes out when I thought Jin was dead. I got ready for bed thinking about the story line and that's when it occurred to me that Jin might still be on the island! The Oceanic 6 (I guess Aaron was one and Sun is the last) are keeping with a well-rehearsed story about being the only survivors, which would mean that Jin could still be alive and on the island, but Sun would have to behave as if he were dead.

The teaser says that someone will die next week. I think they hope for us to assume it's Jin but my money is on Claire. I'm still thinking that Claire dies (thus Kate gets Aaron) and that Jack failed at saving her, which is why he cannot bear to see Aaron.

Any thoughts?

I know, I was teary eyed too!! I wonder if he really is alive on the island?? And what was up with Kevin/ Michael?? I guess we were right that Michael as the *man on the boat*.

Good guess about Claire dying..... I'm curious to know who it is!!

That was a great show...so well written and the WTH kinda twist at the end that we've come to expect when we least expect it. I was teary at the end there but scratching my head. No big speculations here, it hurts my brain too much but MAN Jin was looking FINE last night}( :) Just about dropped my jaw when Juliette blurted out 'Sun had an affair!! Can't wait til next week!

Take Care
Laurie:)

Yes, and what about the captain's comment about the 'cost of staging such and eleborate hoax (regarding the plane on the bottom of the ocean) and where someone would find 300+ dead bodies'...and that's why they want to talk to Benjamin Linus!!! Is he implying that Ben is the one who staged the plane on the bottom of the ocean?

Gosh, it just gets better and better...but sometimes I feel like a puppet with the writers of this show pulling my strings - kind of like our favorite characters often feel! ;-)

Oh yeah, I forgot about them talking about the plane on the bottom of the ocean. Yeah, where would they get the 300+ dead bodies? Interesting that they think Benjamin has something to do with it...

OMG, I was sobbing like a baby with this episode!!! :( I am SO SAD that Jin doesn't make it. On the other hand, I'm SO HAPPY that Sun and her baby do survive. It is true that we simply don't know what happened to Jin - he may still be alive on the island!

Glad to see our suspicions were confirmed when we saw that Michael really is Ben's man on the boat. Who do we trust? Michael and Ben, or the boat captain who works for Mr. Whidmore?

Andrea, I think your theory about Claire, Kate, Aaron and Jack is very good! I am also VERY curious about the whole staged plane crash with the 300 dead bodies. He certainly was implying that Ben was behind it all. It wouldn't surprise me - it seems Ben would go to any length to protect the island.

Laurie, you're right! Jin was looking very fine last night! He's a very handsome man. :) I was also  when Juliet blurted out about Sun's affair. I wanted to smack that bitch! :p

Didn't y'all just love when that jerkface doctor man on the ship takes Sayid and Desmond to their new room and there's blood spattered all over the wall and he's like "Oh, that wasn't supposed to be there!" *rolls eyes* Yeah, so I think it's a safe bet that the people on that ship are not nice people.

Oh and WHAT THE HECK was up with that woman on the boat who was so out of it, and then she wrapped herself in chains and jumped off the boat???

If Jin is dead, then what was the deal with him buying the panda and then giving it to the other baby that was born . He made a comment about only being married for 2 months. I don't think Jin is on the island. Something must have happened between Jin and Sun and maybe he faked his death.

Carolyn

Yup, Jin's scenes were flashBACKs and Sun's scenes were flashFORWARDs. It was very sneaky too because they really didn't reveal that Jin's was a flashback until the very end.

Ok....so Jin's scenes with the Panda were way back when he and Sun had just married and he was still working for Sun's father, right? I thought of that too. If Jin IS still on the island, why would Sun need to keep up the charade in front of Hurley?

I think they know they're being watched. Remember the very scary man who went to see Hurley in the hospital? Someone (Widemore's people?) is very suspicious of the fact that only 6 survived.

Jess,
It took me a minute to realize that was you...I love your straight hair! You're so lucky to have two totally different hairstyles and looks so pretty in both!

I wondered if anyone would notice! ;-) Yep, I got about 6" cut off and layers. I can wear it straight or curly (although curly is a bit crazy now w/ the shorter layers!!! UGH!) I've had a lot of people have to do a double- take when they see me w/ the straight 'do! And thank you! :)

I'm still not sure Aaron is one of the 6, since his name would not have been on the manifest.

And I was also thinking that the grave marker for Jin wasn't necessarily where he was buried, and that he might still be on the island. (But then why would Sun and Hurley go there? No one else is watching them or keeping track of their behavior, so why the show?).

I think it will be Michael.

It makes sense. Ben wants to keep other people from finding the island, and if the world accepts that the plane has been found, no one will continue looking for it, and maybe end up finding the island.

A question I had: when Hurley arrived to see Sun, he asked if anyone else was coming, and when Sun said no, he said "that's good". That seemed a bit strange to me. Why would he be glad no one else was showing up (I assume the rest of the 6)?

I think the blood spatter and the suicide might be connected. Weren't people being affected by the time distortion? Maybe it drives some of them crazy, to the point of suicide (which could be where the blood came from as well).

I thought that was a great technique, since previously they'd only used flashbacks OR flashforwards. I started wondering about it about 3/4 of the way through (especially after Sun sees another man in the hallway and calls out Jin's name), but was hoping I was wrong, because I didn't want Jin to be dead!

>And I was also thinking that the grave marker for Jin wasn't necessarily where he was buried, and that he might still be on the island. (But then why would Sun and Hurley go there? No one else is watching them or keeping track of their behavior, so why the show?).>

I think the Oceanic 6 are always being watched. The stranger who visited Hurley in the hospital asked about other surviors (in a very scary way). Jack and Kate are sticking to their story of survival in a way that seems they are protecteing those left on the island. Sun and Hurley going to the grave could be a way of keeping up with the pretense of Jin being dead but could also be her way of mourning Jin since, even if he is still alive on the island, she may feel that she will never see him again.

I thought it was interesting that Hurley wasn't very moved while they were at Jin's grave? Sun did a great job at turning on the water works with me, but Hurley just stood there . . . sure hope Jin is still around so meet his beautiful daughter. Glad sun made it off the island !

What about the fact that the captain of the ship knew that Damon knows Widemore?
