Live Cathe class report..can also be titled...

Cathlete
Never do Slow and Heavy Legs and Shoulders the day before a live class....ohhhh, man, my legs are cryin'!!!!!!

Day started off on a sour note..Ellie called me @ 6:30 to inform me that her son was sick, and she had to cancel..hope all is well, Ellie!!!!

DW and I never gave a thought to cancelling, we were up and ready, and I was excited at the prospect of DW and Cathe finally getting to meet!!!

Cathe came into the classroom, and came right over to give DW a hug...not surprised..that's just Cathe making someone else feel right at home. DW did not join in for the class, but she did log an hour on the treadmill while class was ongoing!!!!

Cathe stuck with the Kickbox portion a little longer than normal...which was just fine by this kickbox lover!!!! A small piece of me had this gleaming hope that maybe she'd make it an all kickbox class...never get my hopes up like that again, Cathe...that was not cool....;)!!

Time for the running to begin, and run we did...sprints, lateral moves, plyo work with the stability ball...all setting up for the grand finale...WALKING LUNGES as slow as possible the length of the aerobics room for what seemed like an enternity!!! This was the part where last night's Slow/Heavy Leg workout came back to haunt me in a cruel way...could have fried an egg on my quad at this point!!!

Finally class ended...got to talk to Jai and Lorrayne, they came for class as well...double bonus!!!! Then Cathe joined me and DW for a quick cup o' joe, and it was time to make the hour hike back to Cape May.

Despite the crappy weather, truly a great day, just don't ask my legs to agree!!

Thanks, Cathe....I think...

As I sit here with my wheezing little one, it's getting harder not to be soooo jealous!!! I am sorry I missed today. Then again- maybe not

I know the pain!!! :eek::eek::eek:

Tell DW that I am soooo glad she finally got the chance to meet cathe.
Let me know how you feel TOMORROW!!!!

Tonights storms have kicked me off line twice now so this attempt is going to be very brief so that I can get my words in before getting kicked off again.

Just wanted everyone to know how hard Jerry pushed it in class today. I would have never known how sore his legs were as he really went for it with great determination and focus. We ran sprints at one point and Jerry ran the fastest I had ever seen him run. High Five to you Jerry!!!!

His wife is the sweetest woman. Ellie and Gayle, you were right, she is such a wonderfully warm and kind person. Jerry, the two of you were so cute over coffee today. A very happy couple indeed :)

Gayle, hope your sons foot is feeling better and Ellie, sorry to hear your son is not feeling well either. Healthy hugs all around and we'll catch up with another class.

Take Care !

Hi, Jerry. Sounds like Cathe was TOO EASY on you!!!!! I put in a slight request to make you work, but apparently if she couldn't tell your legs were hurting, you weren't working hard enough! ;):p:p:p:p:p:p:p Love ya, big man!!! I SOOOOOOOOO missed you and DW! But I'll see you in JUNE....I guarantee it!

Cathe, thanks so much for the thoughts on Jacob. He's in a boot and on crutches for 3 weeks, when we go for another xray. Hopefully at that point he'll be able to walk in the boot. He's out for about 4-6 weeks (and we're hoping for the 4!)!!!! Thanks again.....and the little gentleman he is actually apologized to me for his 'messing up my plans' to come to the gym. What a kid! Thanks again! See you SOON!

Gayle

Jerry, thanks for the live class report too!!
