Belinda, that is crazy that they didn't seem to know what you were there for. I am glad that my dentist I have had for for years has someone I did daycare for for years and became a neighbor for a few years. She is such a good friend. I have never had a problem there. I hate getting X rays. I always feel like I am going to gag when they stick those things in my mouth.
I still want the new workouts. I like Ice and was pleasantly surprised that intensity could be increased and the extras made it a more advanced workout if you wanted it. The new ones look good. I do not believe you have to jump like a maniac to be in great shape and in many ways it tears down the body after awhile if that is all that a person does. So I welcome some lighter stuff here and there. Cathe does a good job of making her lower impact workouts tougher than the average low impact and her filming and options on her dvds are awesome. I may not pre-order right away though, but only because I have other things that I have to take care of right now. I just picked up my husbands computer from the shop. Car repairs etc.. I am trying to be frugal. We will see how long it lasts. I bought Ice one dvd at a time. That is the only set I have done that with. The only thing is if I want downloads and dvds, now would be the time to purchase.

Diane Sue - it's all good now. All my dental appointments are done. I have no idea who's made the mistake on the wrong molding. I am just glad the they noticed it before I went home. Usually they scan instead doing a mold. Their scanner didn't work, so they had to do it the old fashion way. My luck! They X rays they took was painless, except the one they used to measure if you have an over/under bite. That one did put pressure in my ears (it was like ear plugs) I have a lot of ear problem. I shouldn't have to go through that one again. Now I have to wait 6-8 weeks for them to come in. Than I have to go back, they will give me a plan. I will get a different Invisible Teeth Aligners every week. My doc will monitor the progress. That is cool they yours had day care :)

I also like ICE but have to admit I haven't done all the workouts :( I just doesn't make sense for me to buy more workout dvd's. Once I started with health problems, I bought a lot of intermediate workouts. I have more than enough. I may change my mind on the 4th? Just because a workout is low impact doesn't mean it's low intensity. I don't need to jump to get my HR up. Cathy's last few series wasn't for me, I didn't like the music/premixes and all that crawling around on the floor and one of her background exerciser had really bad form :( I am not the only one that felt that way. You also can find peoples responds on the latest one on 2lazyfor the gym. I agree, if you want the dvd's now it's the time to buy them. Remember, I am downsizing. I probably will check them out OnDemand at one point. But first, I have to work myself through my collection and get rid of the ones I can't do (too high Impact) or they are just meh... I also just spent a lot of money on the Invisalign

Yamabachi, I have heard of the Skogg system , but never purchased it. I have also heard others say how much they liked the kettlebell work in the Dasha workouts which I have not ventured to yet. Do you have Amy Ross beginner workout? I have some Brook Benton ones which I have not used for awhile. Amy's got increasingly difficult when she started using the double kettlebells. I have Kettlebell Goddesss and it is good, but I get bored with it. Fun music helps. I have some TRX kettlebell mixed workouts from TRX that are good, unfortunately my TRX mount is not mounted on the ceiling so I don't use them since I don't have much room or a good door to attach it to.

I don't have Amy Ross, but it's on my list! I do like the two Paul Katami intermediate/advanced DVDs I just got. I did the easier one and previewed the other. Great, careful instruction throughout, and he is friendly and encouraging. He has "Kettlebell Clinics" on each of his DVDs, which is all about instruction (although if you follow along, it does work you out) I was kind of sold on him for kettlebell when he explained that you should not be banging your wrist with the bell and how not to do it.

yamabachi, welcome :) I have Peak and I do agree her workouts are high impact. I have knee/heal spur/PF problems, I have to keep everything low impact. Some of Cathe's Low impact aren't low impact, I still have to modify them. I have the Dasha's Scorcher Series and love them. They sell really cheap on Groupon. If you prefer downloads she has them too.

Thanks for the welcome and the tip on the Scorcher Series. Checking out Groupon now :)

Hi everyone,

I am still on the Christi Taylor kick :) I did Pure Spice workout. I had a blast. The workout had 12 songs, without any instruction. I had not problem following Christi. I can't believe I haven't pull that one out before. Bought it years ago :( I am slow, lol.

yamabachi - you are welcome.

Have a great weekend, everyone.

This morning I did Fit Split Low Impact cardio only timesaver 172 calories, 5.8 met, 27 minutes, heart rate average 128, max 162. I then did yoga tune up knee hab, prehab and knee how segments, 31 minutes

Belinda, I have not heard of that Christy Taylor workout. We have so many extras lately, andvI just remembered dh needs his wisdom teeth out. My dentist suggested something like that for my lower teeth, checked my bite. It is kind of one of those things I am putting off. I hear you on the extra things right now. I am glad I have wome of the workouts I do just for times like now when I have an injury.

Yamabachi, you might check youtube. There is some kettlenetics and Amy Ross has a couple of rebounder and kettlebell combo workouts.

Yamabachi- I have liked every Paul Katami workout I have tried - a couple I bought but most I just got on loan from the library. I just have trouble remembering to use them!

I did Body Revolution 4 this morning - pull day. These are getting a bit more challenging but still intermediate. 30 minutes didn't feel like enough work so I did RIPT 90 - Back Breaker to finish.

Diane Sue- I am trying not to buy LITE right now either. I did the same with ICE. I tried them On Demand and then eventually bought the downloads on a 40% sale. I'm planning to get On Demand for a month or two when they come out.

Doreen - I plan on doing the same with LITE :) Try them before I buy them. Usually at the 40% off sale you get them cheaper than the pre sale.

Diane Sue - you can check that one out at Mary's site. I hear you on putting things off. I waited 4 years. I had my root canal done 4 years ago, can you believe it that tooth is still hurting? My dentist wants to sent me to get a special 3 D Xray's done next week if the pain doesn't stop. Four years ago, my Ortho wanted me to have regular braces. I waited so long, since that tooth is still hurting like crazy. I was like no way I have them tighten the braces. With the invisalign, she is going around that tooth. The Ortho also told me when they did my root canal, they probably didn't kill all the nerves (some they can't reach) she thinks a nerve is still active, WTH? The Invisalign also corrects bites. They took also Xtrays for bites the other day.

Belinda, I will check out Mary's site to see what the workout looks like. That is a shame if there is a nerve still active in there. I hope that they can do something. You can't just live with that. Those procedures are expensive, even with insurance.

No workout today. Just hanging around the house this afternoon.

Belinda, that workout looks like fun. Was the dancing style easy to follow? It didn't look like a bunch of impact.

Busy day yesterday, but I was able to devote an hour to Crossfire + ab bonus. Today I did the other Paul Katami kettlebell DVD I got on sale. Having some friends over for grilling and pooltime today.

Diane Sue - it was very easy to follow.I am sure you know enough dance moves. I even kept it low impact. She does point with her hand/fingers which direction you are going :)

We been remodeling our guest bathroom. DH had to return the new vanity, it had a crack on the top. DH open the box in the store to make sure, the second one was fine. The bathroom is painted, the new lights are up. Except the vanity, we need to cut the back of the vanity. Which will not happening today. That is another day's project :) I can't wait for everything to be done.

Yamabachi, nice job on the Crossfire workout. I have read others reviews on Paul Katami and they seem to like them.

Belinda, I saved the link to that workout. Not that I need another though :) We had to do some cutting on our new vanity as well to fit the plumbing and to make an open spot on the base for the air and heat to flow through.

Diane Sue-Thanks! I am really liking Paul Katami kettlebell videos. Very methodical, clear instruction, which is exactly what I like about Cathe workouts!

Good morning,

STS M3 W2 D28 is done.

Diane Sue - we have to do some cutting on the vanity too to fit the plumbing. Sounds like you ran into the same problem we did.

Doreen - enjoy your workout today.

Yamabachi, nicely done on the Crossfire. That's a tough one.

I been having lots of internet problem lately, I will keep it short. I will be back tomorrow.

Belinda, I hear you on the brain fog too early in the morning :) Oh, well, you can still do ! I have to get up early and hopefully an early start on whatever works for me including stretching and rolling. I have been doing what I feel I am up for at the moment. My back is pretty much back to normal. Now I am just dealing with my left knee and neck/shoulders. Both which have tendencies toward pain anyway. I have my 7 year old grandson coming at 7:30 and my 18 year old grandson coming over at some point between his jobs to pick up some things and maybe have me go to the tag agency to help get his car signed over into his name. We let him have our Lincoln and pay payments on it.

Diane Sue - I defiantly had a brain flog this morning :) Good for you for doing what you up for at the moment. Glad your back is back to normal. Sorry about your knee, neck and shoulder. Be careful with your workouts. Hope you feel 100% better soon. That is so nice of you and your husband to give your grandson your Lincoln. He must be a special jung man. You guys are great grandparents!
