Like/review/verify/don't buy check in for 2016- 2024

I did my workout this afternoon at the park while my daughter had soccer practice. It was such a nice day I'm glad I scheduled it. I did Ultimatum white workout and then all in 18 sweat and sculpt combos.

The package with the body revolution arrived this afternoon from Goodwill. I was surprised to discover the set was brand new still in shrink wrap! Make me feel better about what I paid for it. LOL.

Good morning,

Did my last workout in STS M2 :) Can't wait to do M3. I also did a SBF stretch.

STS Pyramid up/down DONE
Do STS in its entirety DONE
Take one week off DONE
Do Gym Styles for one month DONE
Do the low impact series for two weeks DONE
Do Four Day Split for one month DONE
Do Shock Cardio Series for two weeks DONE
Do STS Meso two DONE and Meso three

I don't see a week off from M2 to M3, I will just dive into M3 next week :)

Doreen - enjoy your new dvd's.

That's it for me today. I will be back tomorrow.

Today I did Fit Split Low Impact cardio, 28 minutes, met 5.9, 182 calories, 1,814 steps. I then did Kelly Coffey Body Design yoga and cooldown, 16 minutes, met 2.3, 41 calories. I then did Ice Muscle Meltdown biceps, 19 minutes, met 4.7, 78 calories, and finished with Sarah Beth Yoga cool down hips and legs 12 minutes, 28 calories. Total time wa 75 minutes, calories burned 329.

Belinda, nice work on finishing meso 2. :) I never took full recovery weeks. Sometimes I would do a cardio week with maybe a total body or two mixed in and then dive in.

Diane Sue - you did a lot of workouts today. Nice mix too! Nicely done. Thank you on STS! I will jump right into M3 Sunday. This way I finish M3 early. I am looking forward doing more YT workouts, they been waiting for me.

Good morning,

I did Esquire Dance Away The 60's plus 70's (VHS). I am still going through my collection. I had a blast with both workouts. I can't remember the last time I have done them? Anyway, the music just made me smile the entire time. So much fun! Need to pull them out more often. Got a great step count too. I am trying to downsize my collection, but will hold on to the Esquire a little longer. Most of them are out of print. Those workouts are as good or better than the ones you can find these day's. Not to mention they play real music from the 70's and 60's.

Have a great Friday, everyone.

Belinda- More workouts I have never heard of!! LOL! But the do sound fun. Music on workout videos must be so hard these days... with licensing, etc. I even saw that Autumn's 80 Day obsession wasn't even filmed with music. They just put together playlists on Spotify that you are supposed to play on your own. I have tried and just cannot workout without music.

This morning I tried out the Rip60 workout 1. The reviews I read said workout 1 was pretty easy... and it was just because he took lots of time between exercises to explain moves. If you cut out those breaks it would have been much tougher. The lead trainer does a great job explaining and the music is good so I expect these will be good workouts.

After that I tried Body Revolution workout 1. Again, I was expecting it to be easy and it was. But in typical circuit fashion the workout moves quickly for the promised 30 minutes.

I'm off work today being a bum!

Doreen - these workouts are very old but very fun, minus the clothing :) They are all VHS's, I will hold on to them. I wished instructor's would use real music. I do understand the copyright laws. I like having good music when I work out. I did get rid of some of my old VHS's that I know for sure I will never do again. I also need to do the same with my dvd's. I need to check out Spotify, my kids told me about them too.

This is how I felt with the Violet Zaki Killer workout. Way to many breaks/explaining moves. It takes away from the workout. BR Phase 1 is easy, Phase 2 gets a little harder and Phase 3 was the toughest, IMO! Hang in there! I think you like it.

This morning I did Ice Rock'm Sock'm timesaver #5 less kicks, 40 minutes, heart rate 137 average, 167 max, 256 calories, met 5.8, 3,544 steps.
I then did Ice Muscle Meltdown Triceps, 16 minutes, heart rate average 99, max 129, met 4.5, 79 calories, 138 steps and finished off with Sarah Beth Yoga on youtube, feel good hip opening hatha yoga, 15 minutes, 37 calories. Total time was 71 minutes, 372 calories.
weights giant set done 3 times 12 reps each exercise
overhead triceps extensions 12# dbs
kickbacks 12# dbs
dips body weight
lying triceps extensions 15# dbs
close grip bench press 15# dbs
I didn't put yesterdays biceps weights down , but it was mostly 15's and 12# on the preacher curls.
I got to go pick up my husbands car from the shop today. I will finally have my car back so I can make some appointments and get some things done :)

Belinda, do you have one of those dvd/vhs players that can dub? I had put some of my vhs tapes onto dvd at one time. The same with family videos. It just might help you downsize a bit smaller. I bet those workouts were fun, with the fun music. I wish there were more workouts with fun music. Even music like I Max 2 etc.. What happened to the music now?

Doreen, that is really cheap and crazy that they would suggest you get play lists off Spotify which I have not ever used. I wouldn't buy the workouts just for that reason. I can do Fitness Blender Free with no music if I wanted to, so why would I pay for something like that. I might as well just do my own thing. I do like the Fitness Blender workouts and have put on some of my own music. It was okay, but I really would rather have it all on a dvd.
I would imagine the explanations would be good for people that have not done workouts very much and are more a novice.

Today I did Turbo Fire Hiit Low 20, 20 minutes, average heart rate 143, max 177, 130 calories. I then did Ripped with Hiit Low Impact Hiit mix a first half and two second half, 27 minutes, heart rate average 133, max 164, 172 calories. I finished off with Sarah Beth Yoga morning routine strength and energy 16 minutes and 10 minute cool down yoga hip and legs, 29 minutes, 73 calories. Total time was 76 minutes, 375 calories. I kept trying to use the workout manager and it would not recognize my log in. Then I remembered the change.

Diane Sue - great job today. I been playing around with the forum. Couldn't find the workout manger, it disappeared :) Once I cleaned up my browser cache, I can see the workout manager but not on the Cathe forum (on top of the forum?). Can you see the workout manger on the forum page?

Just getting around to posting. I did Rockem sockem this mor ing. That was all I had time for.

Complete rest day as far as exercise today :) Too many things going on. We had a fun time with our grandchildren and their birthdays.

Belinda, I just looked and no Workout Manager on the top of the forums page like before. When I was on yesterday I could not log in to the workout manager. It kept telling me my password and user did not match. But I was fine getting on the check ins. I finally gave up and figured they were working on it or something.

Doreen, Great job getting in Rock'm Sock'm.

I just checked and was able to get on the workout manager through the home page and come back to the forums from that page. There just doesn't seem to be a way to go to the workout manager from the forums page. That is more than I got yesterday.

This morning I did Kelly Coffey Body Design all segments skipping stronger leaner lower, 80 minutes, 441 calories, met 5.0, 4,146 steps.
Weights for cardio sculpting were 3 and 5# and the same for weighted kickboxing.

1 arm lateral raise from behind 8# db
1 arm boxer pledge 15#
dips 1 arm
bench press 1 arm 15#
