Like/review/verify/don't buy check in for 2016- 2024

No workout today. We have been working on our remodel and have to make a trip to Home Depot. Yesterday by the end of day I had 12,545 steps. Yesterday by the end of the day My Fitness Pal gave me back a plus of 230 calories on their adjustment for my steps which made my calorie total on exercise 874. I found that interesting. I did a lot of trying to clean up dust last night when the boys removed the ceramic tile form the kitchen, bath and entry. I am going to be busy today and we want to refinish the molding around the baseboards. I think that may be my job. I got To The Mat in the mail yesterday, but no time to look at it right now.

Today I started the Hammer & Chiseled rotation. I finally took off the shrink wrap, lol. Not sure, if I stick with the entire month. So far, I liked the first workout. I also did LS Ultimate 5 day "Monday 3 mile walk with abs". Another dvd I forgot I owned :(

Not that I am trying to encourage you to buy more workouts. Amazon is selling Amy Dixon "Raise some Bells" for $0.99 on Amazon videos for Prime members. That is a great price :)

Diane Sue - nice step count yesterday :) How long do you think it will take you with all the renovations? Sounds like you guys doing a lot.

Belinda- which one did you do?

I decided to go with xtrain. I did chest, back, shoulders this morning and then followed with the rockem sockem blizzard blast.

I noticed that in Master Hammer and Master Chiseled, all 6 dvd's have a 10 min ab workout on it?Are they all the same 10 min ab workout?
 
We have been so busy with the remodeling. I only got 4 1/2 hours of sleep last night. There was not a lot of energy this morning. I just got Ice To The Mat and this morning I did the mix that was the workout with shoulders and core w2, 78 minutes, 297 calories. Not a big burn but it was fine for me this morning. I think next time I may use some dumbbells or ankle weights for some of it. I did pick up 5s for the inner thighs and used them on the hip lifts. I find it interesting that the shoulder workouts are color coded in the manual for the one that comes with To the Mat and one that comes with another of the workouts. They are the same exact exercises. I don't know why there are two work sheets. Maybe I am missing something. Is there another way to do overhead press, side lateral raise etc. even down to the stability ball move.
I am hoping to get a better workout in tomorrow. I am still cleaning white dust off of and out of everything after the ceramic tile removal, concrete work, and smoothing the floors out. It is everywhere. I cannot believe how it sifted inside cupboards. I tried to cover things.
 
Belinda, there is 10 minute Hammer abs and 10 minute chisel abs. I think this is the one where chisel abs are done with the step and alternates different plank moves with seated moves like V sits. I like that one. I need to look at Hammer and Chisel and see what I might want to do this week. I need to get in some cardio. We do have a big project going. The wall board needs put up, which my husband is working on tonight so we can get the flooring in and then install the toilets and the new sink and cabinets for the guest bath area. Also we were hoping to paint before the flooring is done. Also while flooring the whole lower level of the house except the master bedroom and sun room is being redone. We have almost finished the prep work before the installation. My husband is getting prices for having someone else install it. He has someone coming tomorrow evening that he knows from a place he works. If we have him and his guys do it , we may get the flooring in this weekend. We want to repaint. Also , I got out stain sealer to redo the baseboards. This seems like it will be a long project :)

Doreen, I just love the Blizzard Blasts for getting a little extra cardio with a workout.
 
Today I did Tracey Staehle's Cardio Kickbox Challenge, 59 minutes, heart rate 134 avg./ 164 max. I then did Hammer and Chisel Masters Cardio 18 minutes, 119 calories H R 129/155. I finished off with Hammer and Chisel 10 minute ab chisel 12 minutes, 40 calories. Total time 89 minutes, calories burned 612. 7,320 steps so far this morning. I have lots to do and it seems to keep growing. It seems we may have workers here on Easter :eek: I have turkey and ham dinner and baking to do. Trying to figure this all out. I do have my daughters house as back up. Too many things are going at once.
 
I did Xtrain AOLIH today- floor and step segments and then worked on some heavy sets of hip thrusts for a cardio and weights day.

Thanks Diane Sue - thank you :) I thought I was seeing doubles, lol :) Wow, you have a lot going on! Having and owning a house there is always something to do. It never ends!
 
My husband ordered me everything on my wish list. The Fit tower came today but I don't see the barbell clips anywhere. I did order them and see them on the receipt. Wondered if they come separate. He also ordered me the Kelly Coffey workouts. I got my new Blu ray player today.

Not much of a workout today, I just did the Fit Tower Lean and Mean Advanced workout that came with the tower. It was 35 minutes and I burned 112 calories. I hardly slept again last night and have lots to do.
I liked this Fit tower workout. I used my heavier green band and my blue firewalker band. I was a little afraid from the texture and smell of the bands that come with the FIt Tower , that they are latex. My daughter who will be over this evening is extremely allergic to latex. My grandson always sees balloons in stores and tells me those are mom's death bombs. I shoved them in the closet and opened the windows. I think that ankle weights would be good to use for some of the barre type standing work. I called and the bar clips are on the way. I printed up all of the Hammer and Chisel worksheets yesterday but am not sure if all of that is going to happen. At least not this week.

Doreen, Super Cuts is a good one.

Today I did H&G ISO Strength Chisel + LS Wednesday + Friday walk. Tomorrow will be a rest day, I am getting my hair done in DC and spending time with my DH :)

I sold 4 workout dvd's yesterday :) They all still in shrink wrap. I am trying to downsize my huge collection.

Belinda, good for you selling some of your dvds. I guess they are ones you decided you wouldn't do? I am hoping for a good nights sleep so I can get in a workout tomorrow that feels like I really did something. I have been removing pictures and things from the walls and trying to shove things out of the way for painting and flooring. It is like Christmas with all the new things coming. I also got a new Calvin Klein dress and some Cross Fit Nano shoes. I like my blue ones but have been wanting some dark ones so I can wear them outside the workout room without worrying about them getting dirty.

I got my blu ray player set up and set up my youtube, amazon, Netflix , and Vudu accounts. I can bookmark some internet favorites for streaming which will be nice. This player is so tiny compared to my old dvd/Video player.
 
Good job Belinda on getting some sold. Did you sell online or local?

This morning I did Cardio Leg blast. A classic favorite! I even used some heavier weight than Cathe this am so that always feels good!

Belinda, I went over the Hammer and Chisel workout sheets and picked ones I wanted to use without too much shoulder work. I just need to get my shoulders and neck to feeling a bit better. I think all of this remodeling stuff is not helping and Hammer and Chisel is pretty much all Total Body stuff.

Doreen, good job going heavier than Cathe on Cardio Leg Blast.
 
I was going to skip this morning. I turned off my alarm and everything. But I woke up at normal time anyway and figured I should go ahead. I did burn sets chest and back and then All in 18 upper body burn.

Doreen, I have done the same thing. Even when I am very tired and think I want to sleep more than do a workout, I wake up regular time. I did the same thing this morning.
