Like/review/verify/don't buy check in for 2016- 2024

Today I did Amy Bento In the Ring, premix, intervals two times with warm up and stretch, 35 minutes, heart rate 126 avg/ 160 max, 252 calories. I used an 8# medicine ball. The intervals are all of the med ball segments. I then did Ice Rock'm Sock'm Kickbox, 50 minutes, 398 calories wearing 1# gloves, 133 avg heart rate/ 165 max , 398 calories. I always try to do more foot work on this to increase the steps and calories. I add feet flurries with the first part that has just arm flurries. I step into punches and add more hops. This helps, otherwise feel I am not working very hard. I finished off with Amy's Advanced Step Challenge 3, abs 2, 17 minutes 62 calories. That one is done with tubing. Total time was 1 hr and 42 minutes, calories burned 712. I did decide to go back and do the 12 minute stretch on the end of Step Challenge 3 because it is such a good one.. I did not count it though.

Laura, I am glad to hear that you are able to get back into some workouts. Sorry that you twisted your ankle. I think we have all had those moments. I am sorry you still have so much to keep up with. It is good to have you back :)

Today I did Ripped With Hiit Circuit Lower Body with abs mixed throughout, 50 minutes, 380 calories. then did Ice Boot Camp Circuit
Mish Mosh express premix, mixes in blizzard blasts and some of the main workout, 39 minutes, 247 calories. I finished off With Barre Amped Strength and Stretch lower body, 19 minutes. Total calories burned 669.

Doreen, when I got In the Ring, Amy sent out a cd of the sound track. I used to listen to it while doing the treadmill and cleaning house. I always liked that workout a lot. Amy moves around the room more than Cathe on her Kickboxing workouts. This one doesn't take up too much room though and neither does Hi/Lo knockout which is another that I love doing. I get more steps on my Fit Bit with her workouts than I do Cathes. I am guessing it is the movement patterns. I really wanted to do Rock'm Sock'm though since I have not had it long. That is why I just did a premix. I used to use that premix a lot.

Belinda, I have 3 different audio cd's that Amy sent with the dvds when I pre-ordered. She used to send a little card with her signature and a thank you.
 
That's so cool Amy did that. I wonder if she will do something similar for her newest DVD.

I did In the Ring this morning. Woah. Tricky stuff turning around with a back kick or back elbow etc. I'm going to have to give it another try.

Still a good workout. I got a new strap for my Polar so I have stats again! 44 min 466 cal average 159 max 173.

Today I did Ripped With Hiit Low Impact Hiit 2 and 1 combined, 49 minutes, 335 calories. I then did Low Impact Sweat Cardio 1 premix 28 minutes, 177 calories. I finished off with Barre Amped Advanced Stretch, 28 minutes, 65 minutes. Total time 1 hr 45 minutes and calories burned 577..

Doreen, once you get those turns and kicks down they are so much fun. I get a lot of steps with Amy's kickboxing. If I remember right I used premixes for awhile. I would use the one that is combos 1 and 2 and then another time I would do combos 3 and 4. I think it is a bit easier learning some of her choreography on the floor type cardio than stumbling all over the step. I think once you have done her workouts for awhile it is a bit easier. Although each workout is new and fresh.
 
Today I also did RWH low impact. I did 1 & 2 & 2 again. Ankle is a little better. Yesterday was a long day. Today we are working on getting my MIL moved.

Hope everything is well with everyone. Great workouts all. I better hold off on Amy's step if I'm falling off the step during a low impact Cathe step! Go figure.
 
Btw, I read on Cathe's facebook page that on her new Sweat cardio workout she would have a premix that would have a pop up box showing her doing a low impact modification where needed. Thought that was great.

I did ICE Rock'n & Sock'n Timesaver premix #3 Warm Up + Blizzard Blast + Muscle Meltdown - Triceps + Stretch - 41:50 + XTRAIN All OOUT LOW IMPACT premix # 10 Timesaver Floor and Step Cardio - 32:59. I also did 30 min FB pilates.

Sorry, I have no time for personals. Just got a phone call...my husbands sister had a heart attack and is in the hospital. Also his brother's kidney are shutting down, he is also in the hospital. Not sure, if I mention it? My husbands mom is in hospital she just had a hip replacement.

I will try to be back later, if not tomorrow. Good job, everyone on your workouts.
 
Belinda, I am so sorry. I will be praying for you and your family as well.

Laura, Amy has quite a lot of turns and footwork on her workouts. I love hers though. I have other instructors that I just pretty much gave up on learning I need to go read Cathe's facebook. I would love more low impact options. I have done so much impact this week I thought it was time for some low impact today.
 
Thanks Laura and Diane Sue :) My husband sister didn't had a heart attack. Thank goodness! She has a lot of stress lately. We are still waiting on his brother condition. I will keep you posted!
 
This morning was Iso speed hammer followed by the first 3 combos of Amy bento kickbox extreme. I got Kickbox extreme from the library yesterday. Can you tell I recently discovered Amy Bento did more than step workouts!? This one seemed a little easier to follow on the combos but I'll have to finish the rest of the disc.

Belinda- I hope you Husband's sister is recovering. So glad it wasn't a heart- attack!

Today I did ICE Sweat 1 2x followed by AOLIH floor cardio 2x.

I'm glad it wasn't a heart attack. I hope she is on the mend soon. Keeping your family in my thoughts and prayers while they are in the hospital.

Today I did Intensity timesaver step and low impact. 48 minutes , 360 calories,
Doing daycare substitute and Dr appointment this afternoon.
 
Sorry that I was short today. I did the daycare and had a short time at home before I went to the doctor. I have swollen lymph nodes in my neck and along my collar bone. They are tender and my neck hurts. My daughter was really concerned that I get in right away. The doctor checked my white count and it is low. I have to go back in a week to see if it goes back up or if he needs to check bone marrow or something. He really did not address the lymph nodes much other than to say what I already knew and that is there could be something wrong somewhere else. Or the fact my neck hurts on that side. I may be changing my preferred provider on my HMO. I was so exhausted when I got home that I took a long nap.

Laura, that was a good mix of low impact work.

Doreen, yes, that Amy kickbox is a bit easier. If I remember right the final round was a bit more challenging. Have you tried Rumble? That one is easy to follow. Not quite as intense. It has a nice heavy bag section and some dynamic stretching using light weights that is 15 minutes on the end. She had talked at one time of doing a dynamic stretch but I think she gave it up because not too many would purchase it. I was a bit disappointed.

Diane Sue - me too :) His brother on the other hand isn't doing so well :( My white blood counts are always low too. I got checked out a few years ago, they couldn't find anything. I have acute sinus problems. I hope they find out what's going on with you soon (((HUGS)). I will keep you in my thoughts & prayers.

This morning I played with my new bosu. Well not new... thrift find!! Years after i sold mine on a garage sale not knowing what tho do with them i finally found another. I did amy bento dome challenge, a Shelly Dose from YT s and finished working on kickbox extreme from yesterday, combo 4 and 5.
1 hr 13 min 651 cal average 144 max 171 hr.
