Like/review/verify/don't buy check in for 2016- 2024

Today I did Kelly Coffey Total Body Kickbox combined workouts, 58 minutes, 416 calories, avg heart rate 136, max 185, 4,412 steps. I am still wondering about the high heart rate. On the weight workout my heart rate was very low. I was hoping the update would help as I am not breathing really hard or anything. I guess I should try and stop and check my pulse, but I always have a hard time getting it and by the time I do it has dropped. I decided to do the other split workout on Body Shop, shoulders and triceps, 19 minutes, 63 calories, heart rate 92 average, max 128, 242 steps. Total time was 77 minutes, 479 calories.
Weights for Body shop shoulders and triceps
shoulder press single arm with leg raise laterally 8# 10 reps 3 sets
lateral raise with knee up single arm 8# 10 reps 3 sets
triceps (overhead extensions pull down to front knee) single arm 8# 10 reps 3 sets 4th set just overhead triceps extension single 10 reps then 10 pulses
Triceps kickbacks single arm lunge stance 15# 10 reps 3 sets 4th set 10's# run arm triceps extensions 10 reps

Doreen, I sort of felt the same way with live. I guess in reality when they film there are probably breaks somewhere that we don't see. It is a bit overwhelming with so many to choose from and feeling the need to use them all. That is great that you found the Cathe dvd at the thrift store. I have felt the same with some workouts where I did not care that much for the instructors personality. I got rid of some yoga dvds for that reason. I still have one that I don't do often just because the instructor has too much touching people while she is talking. It bugs me. I don't know how they hold the pose. If you get the same work with someone else that you like why keep the other workouts. I understand.

I feel the same. I have so many - and ones that I want to come back to but haven't! Even doing Cathe Live has felt a little overwhelming - so many to choose from. Sending back the Anarchy series was a hard decision - what convinced me was the instructor personality because essentially the moves he was doing were pretty much the same as everyone else.

This morning I did Live Get Steppin' Its a good step workout - I think one of the combos was straight from PRS #1. Its not as hard as the step DVDs - I think the music in class is slower and more water breaks.

This weekend I was at the thrift and found 2 Cathe DVDs - Low impact Circuit and Drill Max. I bought Low Impact Circuit even thought I have the download so that I can use some of the premixes on the disc! That was a fun find.

Doreen - I am surprised they will take Anarchy back since you bought them this summer? That is amazing they will take them back :) I am struggling keeping my Cathe preorder.....I really hope we hear/see clips soon. I really don't need more dvd's.

Diane Sue - I was so overwhelmed the other day when I organized my unused dvd's. I had to walk away, I was like " why did I buy so many dvd's?" I am really struggling keeping my Cathe preorder. I hope to see Cedie, Loraine and Brenda in the new workouts. Some familiar faces.

Hi everyone,

Rapid Fire 3 w/Susan Chung Premixes: 4. Rock Steady Hard Core = 50 min is done.

Doreen - great find! One of my favorite Cathe DVD's.

Diane Sue - I still have some VHS's too. Most of them are out of print. I will keep the ones I still do, the rest has to go. I have a few Firms, need to pull them out some day.

I will be back later.

Yesterday I spent an hour on the phone trouble shooting our internet so out didn't surprise me this morning that my chromecast didn't want to connect. I ended up watching on my phone. Ugh. But it was an easy to follow workout... Trisets legs live. Three exercises three round three times.

I had my daughter take me to pick up my car from the shop and we went to lunch and the bookstore.

Belinda, I like the Rapid Fire Sweat dvd. I guess I really do like them all. Each has something in it that I like a lot. Nice work on STS. I did not keep one VHS tape. I finally let go of the last of them when we moved.

Doreen, I went through troubleshooting internet about a year ago and it ended up I had to get an up to date modem. I picked one that was on our carrier's list and it was a real pain. They had to send someone out and they had to fight with the provider and get a supervisor. It took two trips out and a supervisor calling someone to get them to accept it. Then they tried to charge me extra for the two trips out. I got them to drop one of the visits charge. I hope you get yours up and working. I don't like working out with my phone.

Hallo everyone,

Dream Body Hustle HIIT is done. That one mad me sweat like crazy.

Diane Sue - I only kept a few VHS's. Those are the ones that got never released on DVD. Good job with your workouts.

See you all tomorrow. Have a great day and workout.

I had a early morning breakfast so I did Cathe Live Crush it Low Impact. A quick 35 minute LI HIIT style workout that felt a bit like S&S cardio slam.

My breakfast was with a local non-profit and the guest speaker was Amy Van Dyken... the olympic swimmer. She is such a dynamic speaker and a great story. I didn't know that just a couple years ago she had a huge accident that paralized her from her waist down. But she is still so energetic and upbeat even after that.

Diane Sue - I have to take Cardio Pump back to the library. I didn't get a chance to try the weight workout on it so I will place it on hold again to try later but your workout looks good - I'm excited to try it. I did find all the workout cards on her website.

Belinda, I know, I replaced a lot of the vhs workouts that I liked with dvds. Particularly Cathe's. It was those last few that I had kept that I finally let go. They take up so much space!! I had realized I preferred dvds and never did them. I guess I should have tried to dub them over to a dvd. I do have two dvd VHS players that have a dubbing feature. Both of them are in the closet. They don't play some of the newer dvds very well anymore.

Doreen, too bad that you didn't get to try the pump portion of Pump. I have used the both mix a few times. Couldn't you renew the check out? I renew materials all of the time. The workout sheets are nice. I like that Kelly has notations as to whether it is two dumbbells or one.

Hallo ladies,

I done my workout this morning, just getting around to post. Today I did STS D3 Legs and a short walk.

Diane Sue - like I said, the only VHS's I still have are the ones that never got released on DVD. I only have like a few let. I know, once we move again those will go too. Or when I have time to review them, probably end up donating them at one point. I plan on downsizing my life, that means less stuff, less workout dvd's.

I am tired, been cleaning/I also went through some stuff in my basement.

It has been a busy, but fun day :) with grandchildren at their school and the Football game tonight. It has been so cold and windy. There is a freeze warning tonight so I made sure the hoses were all unhooked outside. In a few days it will be back up in the 70's. This morning I did Kelly Coffey Athletic Conditioning Volume 1 workout 1 cardio, 265 calories, heart rate 132 average, 167 max, 2,804 steps.

Belinda, I have some cabinets and closets I need to go through. I started one week when I seemed to have a lot more time on hand and felt motivated. Then it stopped. Right now I have a tote full of winter tops that I pulled out of the top of my closet to go through. Since we went from 70's one day to freezing today I had to dig for something to wear tonight for the Football game. So, now that tote is waiting for me to do a switch from summer stuff. It will warm up again in a few days.

Good morning.

Belinda-The Dvd had holds on it so I couldn't renew. I just have to request it again. Which I will when my cathe live month is up.

I found a mini trampoline at the thrift last night and tried a youtube workout this morning. Fun little kickbox. I also did Vertical Loading Live.

I realize I've done a lot of the live strength workouts this month but not so many of the cardio. Just the way it has happened

I got a 50 gift card to amazon for taking a software survey... of course I'm going to buy workout stuff. Maybe a set of bands or a rebounding dvd.

Diane Sue - what are your go to rebounding workouts that you enjoy?

This mornings workout was Kelly Coffey Cardio Kick Stepboxing, 470 calories, 71 minutes, heart rate 137 average, 167 max, 5,891 steps. It is not often I get over 400 calories with the Fit Bit :D I then did Barre Amped Lower Body Stretch from Strength and Stretch, 19 minutes, 32 calories. 502 calories total, 90 minutes.

Doreen, I think that you can find some of the URX-MT workouts on youtube. Also Arnita Champion has some really good ones on youtube and she is very motivating. She used to use a regular rebounder and then switched to the Bellicon rebounder. I want one of those, but cost is crazy. Check out Amy's on youtube. There is only a couple so far, and she does some kettlebell work along with the rebounder. I think her URX-MT kickboxing one is on youtube.
Another is Rebound Fit

Hi everyone,

Late check in for me. I did Dream Body Hard Core and Cathe Fit Tower Premix : Timesaver #1: Warm Up + Rounds 1-4 + Stretch 34:38.

Diane Sue - I am not very motivated lately either, but it needs to get done. I did some stuff in my basement yesterday and stopped. Brawler had other ideas, lol. He wanted to go outside instead watching me clean/organize. I do need to finish it tomorrow. Lately I am not getting as much organizing done. DH and I did some donation drop off at animal shelter. When my kids moved out they left some dog beds, I got tired of seeing them not getting them used. Hopefully the shelter will use them. The rebounder video looks like fun. Wished i had room to put one.

Doreen - that is so cool you can get all those dvd's from the liberty. Great find on that trampoline. Ours has crap!

That's it for me today. Have a great evening.

Belinda, I workout out of habit. Even when I am not motivated at all I work out or I feel like my day is not right :) Anything is better than nothing and you continue to work through all of those dvds and premixes :)

Diane Sue - thanks for your kind words :) I did work through them. I usually don't workout at 6 p.m. must have been tired from running around all day. Next week will be better.

Hallo everyone,

I just signed up for SBF Barre streaming workouts. Her prices will go up next week, if you sign up before next week she will grandfather the old price as long as you keep your membership. The price for a year is $79 right now, it will go up $129.99. I love her workouts. I will do a stretch from her streaming today. That's it!

I will be back later.
