Let's talk about change

Good girl, Alexis! Hygeine is so important. I change my mind freqently and my moods change. Ok, those are swings but is there a real distinction? My kids get all the loose change arond this place so I cannot use it to get upstairs window coverings with it but they need to be changed. No drapes for me though. And I am certainly enjoying this exCHANGE.

I wonder how often Cathe changes HER underwear? And what kind of underwear she changes.

Oops - wrong forum.

Yes, change CAN be good, but that doesn't mean that all change is good. Having some consistency is also good.

We should be open to change, but not accept it merely for the sake of something different.

ROFL! You're too sassy!

I'll Ask Cathe! She'll answer. I know she will. But would that be a double post? I don't want to annoy anyone.

I just HAVE to ask. Without knowing what SHE does, I'm at a loss.

Bobbi, I'm so sorry I mislead you! I CHANGE them but not necessarily wash them. Sometimes they're still good. At least that's what my boys used to tell me. About theirs, not mine! :7 I just change for the sake of changing.

Didn't we say we aren't going to do that? We refuse to do that? Come on, Alexis, get with the program! And what's this I hear you aren't an old timer? How is it you manage to say you are old 81% of the time you post? And haven't I known you forever? Or does it just seem like it, you glorious nut? :)

Yes, we did say we weren't going to do that but I CHANGED my mind! HA!

Seriously, I'm an old timer but it's all relative. Compared to you, Aquajock, Kathy, etc. I'm not an old timer. It's that respect thing, ya know? I don't consider myself a long time Catheite; I'm a medium time Catheite. So yes, I'm as old as dirt. But no, I'm not an old timer Catheite. Which can also be abbreviated to: Cathe Elite.

I'm a charter member, a huh a huh, but I was a Johnnie come lately compared to those fabulous women, I do believe Kathryn said 1993. I almost called her a dinosaur but thought better of it. Lest she'd kick my arse! We didn't go online unti 1999 and I didn't get here until 2000 I think? And, ugh, I have the same computer. His name is Hal. He just deleted my Netscape mail again for heaven knows what reason. I almost missed your delightful addition to this thread. I'm getting an iMac G5 as soon as I butter my husband up enough. I can't tell you how I am going to do that. I'm too discreet but use your imagination, ok? What are you doing up so late, young lady?

I took a nap just so I could stay up late and watch a movie!

You use butter for THAT?!?! I'll have to try that. I need a new computer, too.

Somebody stop me!!! OK, gonna go watch a movie.

Now why did the majority of you take a perfectly good question with no sarcasim and make a joke of it. ?? I had not intention of being rediculed. I had asked about changes, and this was really on the up and up.

Alexis, I'm surprised I, as an Cathe Long-Timer-Old-Timer (so old I'm bald), have deigned to communicate with you in any way, given the piddly number of posts you've logged on compared to my munificent number (~300+ compared to my 2K and counting).

Consider it an act of Christian charity that I acknowledge your existence.

And just in passing - from personal experience, I can tell you that if you wash your underwear too often it falls apart. Then you have to price the market, do a 6-month search and get some new pairs. Start saving your change now.

I'm sorry - I posted my risponse to Alexis before readying your post, TyTbody. No sarcasim intended here. I won't redicule anyone anymore.

How can I thank you, A-Jock? Thank you so much for chatting with me. It's an honor.

And regarding the number of posts? Well, I'm a good listener. In the old times, I'd ask a question, someone would answer, and I was done. It was nice because I'd have my answer and could get on with my real life.

Bleach is that caustic yellowish liquid with the unpleasnt odor. It's kept in the laundry room and frequently makes me regret not changing out of my good clothes when throwing in a load of whites instead of wearing one of the 99.9% of the clothes in my wardrobe I fondly call my rags . They are the ones with the bleach spots. Whites it turns out, are any intimate apparel that come between we and our Calvin's and Gap Jeans. The whitie tighties the husband and son wear and also the brightly colored unders I hope I never catch the boys in. I always feel a pang when black ones become a gruesome brown, red ones pink and I am intrigued by the ones that stay thier origianl color in spite of going onto the pile colored "whites" that make me wish I wasn't in charge of the laundry and I may have failed in teaching hygeine to my kinder. I feel better knowing Alexis' mom may have done the same.

Alexis did you put on CLEAN underwear today?
