Let's Do This Again STSept-Dec!

We just take turns--it works out well. My upper back is quite sore this morning!! Brian is sore too! He did the elliptical this morning and I did a 2 mile walk and then we both did STS Abs the med ball section. We couldn't do the partner abs as he is at least a foot taller than me and it would be too difficult to execute!

Happy Saturday Night everyone :)

This morning I got to play tennis, woohoo, and will again tomorrow morning. Definitely needed to whack the heck out of the little yellow ball to relieve the work week stress. lol ;) Managed to finally get back on track with STS as well and finished disc 6. I rearranged my workout rotation today so I can get back on a regular schedule for the rest of the rotation since I got a little behind, such is life. Onward I go..

Janis- Nice job on the swimming and keeping your STS going despite the injuries, very impressive.

Heather - I hope the snot leaves your kids soon. lol for your sake anyways. Hope your neck feels better.

Cathy - Way to go on disc 3! I will be joining you in DOMS land later tomorrow I am sure after disc 6 today.

Welcome Lori, glad you are joining us. :D

Denise and Brian - ITA with the pullups & chinups, or at least my attempts at them, making all the difference in the back workouts. Completely another level then when I used the tubing. I hope you give the Medicine Ball partner abs a try despite the height difference. Even if you cant do the first few exercises when your back to back together, you can always do those separately as more sets of the oblique exercises at the end of the regular med ball abs and you can definitely do the ball pass exercise and the two tossing exercises together, the height shouldnt make a difference for those at all, plus they are really fun. I do them by myself since I do not have anyone here to partner with and have learned how to toss the ball to myself correctly, not sure my wall likes it all that much though ;)

Now that we have reached on to two pages in the thread, lets start another for the new week tomorrow so its easier to navigate. :)

See you all tomorrow. Enjoy your evening.

Today I started STS again; I had only gotten up to disc 6 last time when the stress of life got in the way and I resorted to my old stress reliever -- eating . I'm going to do the 6 month program, I notice that you all are doing the 3 month, hope it's okay for me to join in.
Anyway, Disc 1 -- All those pushups :eek: I can't do a pushup on my toes to save my soul. So I did all of them on my knees. Long ago I was able to struggle out 6 or 7 on my toes, but I'm an upper body wimp. Shoulders are weak, biceps a bit stronger. I'm determined to do the program all the way through this time and hoping for results.
Have a great day, everyone!

Hey Everyone

I did Week 3 legs today. I was so shocked when I got to the end... I couldn't believe it was over, until I got to the bonus section. i feel like I should be adding those on 3 times a week just because!

Anyways, welcome Lori.... 6 months or 3 months not worries. I did 6 months last time and this time I was thinking that I could do it all over again with STS shock cardio after Christmas!

I'm going to take the day off tomorrow as I have to travel for a big chunk of the day. Maybe I can squeeze a run in but I doubt it.
Happy Hump Day
Heather
