KPC First-Timer

I am SOOOOOO proud of myself. Having NO kickbox experience, and after watching it through just once last evening, I was able to make it through the entire KPC workout!! Now, I didn't get every move EVERY time, but I kept up pretty well considering. I only had a real problem with the last combo so I just did my best.... I DID, however, look like a complete idiot, I'm sure, as I learn the moves. I LOVE Cathe!!
 
That's impressive! KPC was basically my first cardio dvd, so it was weeks before I could get through it without turning that "30 second" break into a five minute one. :)

Great job, Princessbear!! I just did this workout yesterday as well (not for the first time, since it's a favorite of mine since it was released!!) We were probably doing side lunges into the jump kicks at the same time.

You should be proud of yourself, that's one tough workout! (Did I just give myself a backhanded compliment?? HeeHeeHee). I must admit I was really proud of myself during the ab section, because for the first time I was able to make it through the roll ups with the ball. I was truly able to feel how much stronger my abs have become with some concerted effort. (Made me think of the Rascal Flatts song, where he says "Look at Me!".)

I'm looking forward to the time when I can do more than ONE pike! I did have to modify the abs section to do just the roll-ins

I also did KPC yesterday and my glutes are not happy this morning. Don't worry about the pikes....they will come with time and practice.

Congratulations! That's quite an accomplishment on your first try!

KPC was the first Cathe workout I ever tried and I knew I loved her immediately! I do this workout usually once a week -- but I still can't do the pike roll ups with the ball -- one day I will though!

Oh gosh, so now my glutes are gonna hurt tomorrow? They were just starting to feel better after GS Legs on Wednesday... eek
 
No way! I had to start with chunks of it, just doing certain segments until I could finish it. I had the hardest time wondering if I should be mirroring every move or doing everything opposite.

The light bulb clicked finally and I was able to do the whole dvd without stopping. Which brings me to a question, I should post up so I don't hijack your thread!
