KK's September Check In

Good morning!

I finally put together a bit of a rotation. Yesterday I did the Basic Step and the Lower body add on. For some reason I thought that I would be way out of shape or something....not....It was really hard to keep up my HR in my workout zone. Oh well. It was a fun easy paced work out. The add on I have to remember to use with other workouts. Cathe uses a tension band and light weight for some faster rep endurance type leg workout. I forgot how different the tension band can be....ouch. Here's what I have for the next week or so...

today: Cardio and Weights
9/16: TJ Cardio Party #1 (I'll be on the road with portable dvd player)
9/17: rest - unless get home early enough to do a short type cardio and only if I really feel like it.
9/18 - Step heat
9/19: Basic step and upper body add - on (going to try to get up at 5:00 a.m. to do this, so has to be very uncomplicated. LOL
9/20: TJ of choice
9/21: ME
9/22: Low Max
9/23 TJ of choice

So far my plan is cardio on M,W,F and S Weights on T,TH, with Sunday off. We'll see how it goes.

Have a great day everyone!

Good morning ladies:

My day off so I'm late. Got up with DH at 4:30 and then he leaves for work at 5. I then slept from 5-8 this morning, which felt really good! My workout this morning was The Viper from The Terminator DVD. GREAT WORKOUT and boy do I sweat during the circuit workouts. Think it's cuz I'm not moving during the weight part so I'm aware of the sweat dripping whereas in a pure cardio workout I'm moving and the air is hitting me so I don't notice so much. That's my theory anyway. This workout is 1 hour and 20 minutes long, I would never do it on a work day due to the over 1 hour thing, but works perfectly on my days off.

Rhea, I heard rain on my metal roof this morning. What a change of weather, huh? DH and I plan on taking our new Yamaha Rhino up to Taylor Lake and then on to the Lucky S mine tomorrow so hope it warms up. Haven't been to Taylor Lake in ages. Hope there is no snow. Think we have all our wood in but need to quit playing grasshopper and start splitting it. I like your rotation. I enjoyed doing my Turbo Jam 20 minute workout yesterday after Christi Taylor. If I have time today, I'll pull out the Ab Jam workout as I didn't hit that this morning.

Becky, hope the interview goes well for your DH. What kind of work does he do? Way to go on Imax2! The Viper has 4 intervals from Imax2 and 4 from C&W, though I know you know that. My favorite interval is the one where you skip backwards, think it's #2 (not the one with the genie hops). Becky, I only have the first Turbo Jam but I enjoy doing it. The intensity isn't as high as Cathe's (on the one that I have, but versions afterwards I hear can have much more intensity), but I found I get better results if I mix up my intensities anyway. Fun music. I like Chalene's personality. Rhea can probably tell you more about them.

Karen, I was so glad to hear your hip is better, hope it's even better today for you. How's the weight doing with the lesser portions? It seems to work for me every time I actually write down what I've eaten and check the calories. I know they say not to, but I do best around 1200 calories, have plenty of energy and start losing fat. I'm short, age 47 and that seems to be what works for me. I really like Christi's choreography, though it is a challenge for me. She's way different than Cathe but the combos fly and I like the danciness. I'm slowly working my way thru. If you're not into anything complex, don't get the Fantastic Four DVD. Think she has an easier one called Mission Possible.

Yesterday I had a teeth cleaning at the dentist and toyed with the idea of a bike ride afterwards, but decided not to as my enthusiasm wasn't there and I just needed to rest. Glad I listened to my body and feel much better today. Have to take the truck in to have the front end aligned, shop a bit, bank business, clean house, blah, blah, blah. I plan on riding my bike with the bike club on Sunday. Really looking forward to it. Probably help DH split/stack wood on Sunday afternoon.

Hope everyone has great workouts, what a nice check in this is, I sure look forward to reading what everyone is doing each day.

Jeanette

Hi Ladies!:)

Got a late start today -- got up and cleaned out the drawers in my bathroom sink's vanity. Gee, they sure needed it.

It was IMAX2 today and the hip -- well, I didn't even notice it -- except for a thought here and there of oh yeah, the hip was once injured, it was great.

Rhea -- my last book, THE SPIRIT OF THE WOLF, came out in April -- and the next one -- the one I just wrote, RED HAWK'S WOMAN, is due out in June of 2007. It's a long time between books because a contract came inbetween the last book and the next book -- and they have to fit me back onto the rotation...x( It means I have more time, but less money.x( So I'm just doing other things right now that must be done before I get back into writing.

I think your schedule looks really good and fun, too. Well done on getting it done. Hope you're still enjoying your time off.

Jeanette -- you really sound busy. Don't have the terminator, but I know what you mean about going from cardio to weights...the sweat just drips. Christi does sound like fun. I'm not into the fancy footwork. Again, I think my form suffers during the fancy stuff...that's really the only reason.

Dentists are rarely fun. Looks like you made the wise choice.

Have fun on your vacation, Jeanette. Again, I'd love to be out there hiking.

Becky -- Wow! I'm impressed with your 4.0 grade average. That is so well done. Hope that the pharm stuff doesn't pull it down, but even if it does, you'll be able to make up for it probably next quarter, right?

Also hope your DH's interview goes well. It is nerve-wracking -- but fun, too. Oh, and have a terrific time in Pensacola this weekend.

Well, it's taxes for me today. We always file for extensions -- mostly cause of my deadlines and such. So I have to get down to it today -- I've put them off and put them off until now I must confront them.x(

Have a terrific day everyone and a super weekend. And of course, some great workouts.:7

Good morning ladies.

Sorry I didn't get around to posting yesterday. DH and I went out to dinner, came home, and fell asleep on the couch! I guess we were exhausted. Yesterday I did SJP. That was fun. My "Circuits" rotation says today is a rest day, even though I said I would do some cardio. I think I should stick with the rest day. I am a little tense/sore. There has been a lot more weight work in this rotation then I have done before. Plus, we have to leave in around 30 minutes for Pensacola.

Rhea, good job on that rotation!

Jeanette, I know what you mean about noticing sweat during circuit workouts. During the weight segments it seems like I walked out during a thunderstorm I am so wet!

Karen, taxes! ick! Glad you enjoyed IMAX 2 yesterday.

DH's phone interview went fairly well. He was kind of hard on himself afterwards as he is a very technical person and isn't as good on the phone. Oh, by the way, he's a computer programmer. I think it is okay though. He talked to the guy he knows and his application had been approved. We'll just have to wait to see what happens.

Gotta get on the road!

-Becky

Happy Sunday evening ladies.

Our trip to Pensacola was great. We got to visit with friends and we found an apartment that we love! So, now the waiting game on this job and salary and all that stuff.

This AM I did MM (with my DH!!!) He was worn out at the end. We had to alternate the barbell...rewind back to the previous section and stuff so that we could both do the workout. After that, since it took so long, I went out and bought a second barbell! He says he'll try to do weights once or twice a week. I am so proud of him.

Here's my rotation for the week:
Monday: Cardio Kicks plus blast from KickMax
Tuesday: HSTA plus abs from SJP (will be my first time w/ HSTA)
Wednesday: Power Max
Thursday: Gauntlet plus abs
Friday: PLB
Saturday: PUB (will probably do some cardio too)
Sunday: Rest (but may do a run on the TM)

Anyway, back to studying. Hope everyone had a great weekend!

-Becky

Hi Ladies!:)

It's been a busy weekend for me -- although when I look back over it, I sort of go...what did I do?...:+ It was Bootcamp for me on Saturday -- terrific workout.

Becky -- so glad that your hubby worked things out and that his app. was approved. Sorry that he was kinda downs, but it sounds like you two had some fun in Pensacola, though. There are two computer programers in my family -- my brother and a nephew. Good business, I think.

Looked at your rotation and it really looks challenging. Broke it down the way I do my rotations, and figure you're doing about 4 cardio days with two anaerobics sandwiched in there with a couple of those days and four days of weights. Also about 4 days of plyometrics. Wow, that does look challenging.

HSTA is a great workout -- I used to do it more often until I got Bootcamp, and when I fell in love with Bootcamp, I find I don't do HSTA as often as I used to. I think the leg work is one of the most difficult -- you'll have to tell me what you think.

I smiled that you and your hubby did MM together. What fun.:)

Okay, so I need to set up a rotation here, too. So here goes:

Mon: IMAX the original

Tues: Circuit Max

Wed: A cardio and stretch -- don't know which one yet

Thurs: Muscle Endurance

Fri: IMAX2 -- or Sprint 8 outside if pollen permits

Sat: KPC or some other kickbox workout

This gives me 5 days of cardio, 2 days of weights & 1 day of toning, 2 days of anaerobics, 5 days of plyometrics, and one stretch. Again, I'll have to watch and make sure I'm not overdoing it.

Well, it's late and I must get to bed. Have a great day tomorrow everybody and terrific workouts.:7

Good morning Karen, Becky, Rhea and anyone else!

Saturday was a rest day for me, though I knew I'd be moving around a bit. DH and I took our Rhino out to the woods and traveled up to a little lake (Taylor Lake). It was chilly in the Rhino so asked DH to keep the speed down (not that he was going fast at all) so I could stay a little warmer. One of the next things we will get for this is a wind deflector/windshield to help with the wind chill factor. We were up around 7000' so it was a little cool anyway. The lake was beautiful and we stopped and had some snacks/drinks and I took pictures. We left from there and travelled a few miles to a ghost town/mine that was REALLY interesting, especially to my DH who loves history and anything old. We spent quite a bit of time there poking around and wondering how life was then. Think the little town/mine was abandoned in the 50's. I'm still trying to find some more info out about it. We then returned to the little lake, took a break there and returned back to the truck. On the way we were buzzing along (about 18 mph according to DH) and I looked up at the road and a bear crossed (running) right in front of us, about 25 feet from us! I screamed! It was pretty exciting! He wasn't a big bear (maybe 300#) but sure startled me. I've been up in this country since 1974, saw a bear in 1979 and never another one until the 4th of July this year while we were out on quads (big bear). Then another one on Saturday!

Yesterday was a bike ride with 2 other riders. We did 47 miles at a nice pace, nothing too intense. It was fun and a beautiful day, though the mornings are getting chillier.

Today's workout was 20 minute Turbo Jam, with the 20 minute Ab Jam afterwards. I will do a full weight workout tonite. I have to have our pickup checked out tonite after work and will probably help DH split some wood too so it will be a busy evening. After vacation, I may start a one or 2 body part a day rotation. That was a good one for definition.

Becky, sounds like the trip to Pensacola was successful. Crossing my fingers that he gets the job. I can't imagine moving from here. I have so much family and wouldn't want to leave them. Guess if we had to, we would. Yep, tough rotation for you coming up.

Karen, I see Imax on the board for you. Did you have problems with getting it to work the other day? Hope that is resolved. You be careful with KPC, okay? Don't want your hip going out again, but know you will be monitoring it. How are the smaller portions going?

Great workouts, hope to hear from you Rhea soon. Think you were gone this weekend?

Jeanette

Good evening ladies.

This AM I did Cardio Kicks and the blasts from Kick Max. Wow...that was a sweatfest. This PM I did 40 minutes on the elliptical while studying.

I am kind of scared about tomorrow's workout, with all the leg presses. (HSTA)

Karen, how was IMAX today? Hope you enjoyed it. It looks like your rotation is pretty darn difficult too. Hope you get great results!

Jeanette, wow! A bear! That must have been fairly scarey. Good job on your bike ride. 47 miles is great!

DH is still sore from MM yesterday. He thinks Cathe is a slave-driver. I am hoping he'll do the PLB/PUB split with me that I have scheduled for Friday and Saturday.

He got a secondary application today where he had to provide references and give his college gpa, etc. I think we are pretty much set from here. I have started contacting moving companies for estimates. I hope to have one booked by the end of next week. We are figuring we'll know something in stone about this job by the end of the week or the beginning of the next. He filled that secondary app out online and got a confirmation that they had received it. We don't know how long it will take to process. We're not sure if he'll have to go out to Pensacola again for a formal interview with the guy he knows, since he called it a "formality", but hopefully we'll hear something in the next couple of days.

Things are moving quickly and it is very exciting. After seeing that new apartment we're going to be moving into, I am noticing all these "old" things in our current one. We'll only be the 2nd tenants in the new place as it is only 1.5 years old. So exciting. Oh, and it has 2 garden tubs. Going to love those long baths!

Anyway, must get back to studying. Hope everyone has a great night!

-Becky

Hi Ladies, and good evening!:)

It was IMAX for me today -- and I managed to do about 1/2 of it before the VCR just stopped working. So I finished it out with intervals 6-10 of IMAX2 and the stretch. Was worried about getting the workout in, as I've been procrastinating on getting these taxes done -- so instead of workitg out first thing, I worked on taxes. Wasn't as successful as I would have liked, so I think I'll go back to my old schedule and just make a vow to myself to work on those taxes no matter what. x(

Jeanette -- what a weekend you had -- up 7000 miles -- love going up in the mountains like that myself. And a ghost town -- I love that kind of thing, too. There's a ghost town out this way, but it's pretty commerialized -- even though I'm told there are truly ghosts in the town. And a bear. That would have scared me. Don't think I've ever seen one in the wild -- what a thrill, though. One of nature's beautiful animals. To the Native Americans the bear means great medicine (medicine to the Native American means something of mystery -- something that is good and healing and of mystery) -- it is from the bear that many natural remedies and cures have come -- knowledge of different herbs and such. The bear has given us these things. Those who have the bear medicine are oftentimes healers.

Great on the 47 miles ride, as well. Must have beem fum with friends.

Becky -- HSTA isn't really that hard. The leg work is terrific -- but not too bad -- the only interval I find hard is the "fast foot" interval -- for some reason, on the 8" step, it gets my heart rate up way too high, I think. I usually lower the step to 6" for that interval. Have fun with it -- it's truly a good workout.

Don't have cardio kicks or the other one that you did -- although I keep pushing myself to get the CTX series -- but I may buy my daughter Bootcamp first. She's going through a tough time right now and si I was thinking about getting her this workout -- cause she loves kickboxing and weights and this one has both. I'll have to get that final part of the high step for her as well. Decisions. Decisions.

That's great that it looks all set for you two going to Pensacola. Exciting and nervewracking at the same time. That apartment sounds wonderful. A new apartment. Wonderful.

Well, had to force myself to work out today, but I'm so glad that I did. Soemtimes I get this low blood sugar problem if I eat grains, and so I just have to watch it, I think -- although the problem might have been caused by not eating breakfast for two hours after I was up and working...duh...:+

Oh, and the diet's going well -- just eating a little less -- not much weight lost -- but nothing gained, either. Always a good thing.

Well, again, it's late. Am looking forward to Circuit Max tomorrow - I only have it in VHS so hopefully it will work -- if not, I'll substitute.

Have a wonderful day tomorrow and super workouts.:7

Updated to correct my spelling.:+

Good morning!

This morning I overslept some (I like to get up in plenty of time for coffee, don't like to be rushed before a workout) so I did a yoga DVD, Eoin Finn's Power Yoga for Happiness. I did the 40 minute daily dose of bliss premix. Last night was Cathe's Supersets, which I enjoyed, and tonite will be a Cardio Coach ride on the bike if all goes well.

We may have a problem with our pickup and I am going to see if I can take it down to a diesel repair place in Redding, CA tomorrow or Thursday. If this doesn't work out, we'll borrow our son's new pickup to go on vacation with. Seems like these things happen right before we go somewhere. Think it could be an injector line on our truck.

Becky, the apartment sounds wonderful and looks like everything is going splendidly. HSTA is one I don't own, though I do have High Step Challenge and like it. Tell us how the leg presses go, okay?

Karen, hope your workout was okay. Sorry you had to force yourself thru it with the low blood sugar. Interesting about the bear, what you wrote. Our local native americans have a bear dance near here every year. My co-worker went to it this year and had a great time.

I will be in training all day today, may get a chance to walk a little during the breaks.

Good workouts,

Jeanette

Goof morning all!

Just a quick post before court. Mondays and Tuesdays are always so hectic for me. I feel guilty if I'm posting here instead of working....okay, not too guilty!:p

Wow, everyone had such great weekends...an a bear too. I was gone to Dixon for a golf tournament for DH. I took a Turbo Jam with me and my portable DVD and worked out in the hotel room while he golfed. I didn't do the high impact though since I was on the second floor. I didn't know if anyone was beneath me.

Yesterday I managed only half of Step Heat. Had a real low blood sugar drop. Probably because I ate my lunch like five hours earlier. Today I'm going to make sure that I'm fueled properly. I'm going to attempted Cardio and Weights. I had the Basic Step and upper body on the rotation, but that was because I was supposed to get up this a.m., yeah, right. I am just not a morning person. I had to drag, roll and push myself out of bed at 6:20. Oh well, I need to just realize that an adjust myself accordingly.

I can't wait for the new DVDs, but I had better get myself going in the prepping the body.

Oops, gotta run....off to court. Talk to y'all later!

Good evening ladies.

Today I did HSTA and then abs from SJP. Karen, you were right...HSTA isn't bad. The leg presses weren't as bad as I thought they'd be. They are all split up throughout the workout. I did enjoy it.

Karen, hope your VHS worked today. Circuit Max is fun. Hope you enjoyed it.

Jeanette, hope your Cardio Coach workout went well.

Rhea, one of my friends just passed the bar exam. He got his scores just yesterday. Hope you get your blood sugar issue under control. Sometimes just drinking orange juice a few minutes before working out can help that.

It is almost my bed time. Must get a few things done before sleep. Have a great night everyone!

-Becky

Good evening!:)

It was Circuit Max for me today -- almost thought our VCR wasn't going to make it through it -- it kept getting wavy and black and white -- but I could hear it okay, so just continued. It is a fun workout and one I haven't done for a while. But am going to have to fix the VCR.

Jeanette -- sorry to hear about the truck -- but at least you have an alternate plan if it doesn't get fixed -- and sometimes it might be best to just take the alternate plan, and to have a vehicle you can trust. When I was young my mom took us on a trip to DC -- but we spent most of our time in a filling station -- getting the car fixed...x(

Oh, and isn't Supersets fun? I love that workout.

Rhea -- bet you are busy, running in and out of court. Well done on getting that Turbo Jam done, however. Don't those workouts look like fun -- I especially like the premixes on these DVD's as well. When I'm on tour -- I, too, usually work out in my motel/hotel room -- just makes it easier.

Becky -- yes, HSTA is an enjoyable workout, though I haven't done it in a while. I think I get into ruts.

Well, the diet was disappointing yesterday, my weight went up despite not eating as much at each meal -- I hate when that happens. Don't know what happened. I had my weight nicely in check up until about 3-4 days ago -- and now I'm struggling with it. Darn... I hate going on a real diet, if you know what I mean.

Anyway, have a great evening everybody -- a super day tomorrow and terrific workouts.:7

Good morning,
So nice to hear from everybody! I sure look forward to reading your posts. I'll miss you when we're on vacation starting Friday. Think/hope we have the truck situation worked out. Will keep our fingers crossed.

Yesterday evening it was windy so instead of a bike ride on the road, I elected to do a Cardio Coach on the bike that's set up on the trainer. I did it outside and it was a challenging workout. I had a bad set of earphones on so couldn't hear Sean too well. I found another set that will work MUCH better. I think I'm going to need to buy a quieter trainer in the near future, as the wind trainer that was given me is deafening and I can't use it in the house if DH is trying to sleep in the mornings.

This morning's workout was Christi's Hi Lo Heaven (about 20 minutes, just long enough to warm up and then try to learn a new section). I then switched to the stability ball part only of Pyramid Lower Body. Tonite will be a full body weight workout (upper body and abs only).

Oh Karen, when I did Supersets the other night, I did 8# on the biceps (left arm) and made it thru and then 10# for the right arm. It sure is a toughy. I don't see how she does 12#! I love all her premixes and can't wait for the new workouts. Guess we will have them sometime in October! Sorry about your weight, I know how frustrating it is and it is getting more difficult for me too, though others around us probably don't see any difference at all. Water retention really plays a factor for me, but I don't seem to retain so much when the weather is cooler. I can count on my legs being swollen with water for a few days after a tough bike ride, then swoosh, it's gone, just about the time for another tough bike ride.

Becky, glad you liked HSTA. I hear it is tougher than HSC. How is school?

Rhea, good for you for working out while away. How did DH do in the tournament? You didn't golf in the tournament yourself? Been chilly these mornings, huh? We do get some pretty nice fall weather though. Seemed like it was windy all day yesterday. I think I have Step Heat but haven't done it much. I think it's on the Classics.

Must go, great workouts to everyone today!

Jeanette

Good morning all!

Jeanette - Step Heat is on the classics. I've been putting it in lately because it is more of an intermediate steady state cardio and haven't done it enough to learn it. I didn't golf in the tournament. Most of the tournaments are men only and I would not feel comfortable playing. DH's team only did okay. It was one of those days that everyone played well, so the handicaps kicked in I think. DH has a very low handicap, so it doesn't help much. I should have played because I have a huge handicap...:p

I did Cardio and Weights yesterday afternoon during my lunch. That is the best time for me to workout. My energy is high, my blood sugar levels are good. I might try and squeeze another in at lunch today, but I do have a hair appointment at 2:00; but the again my trial was vacated because the guy was offered a deal he couldn't refuse (a tough situation for a person who actually still insists he didn't do it, but really wants out of jail. Especially when the D.A. offers credit for time served at the time of sentencing. What can one do? Thank goodness it is up to the client to make the decision, not me. BTW, he was risking 8 years of prison and one strike, but took felony probation.).....oopps gotta run to court, be back later to finish!

Good Evening!:)

I sure love coming here and seeing all your posts, as well. It truly is something I look forward to everyday.

It was a 25 minute premix of Step Blast (I ended the 41 min. one early) and then a nice stretch today. Was exercising late for me as I was up late last night. Am up late again tonight doing taxes. Hopefully, I will have them done this weekend -- get them to my accountant and that's that. I sure do dread them every year.

Jeanette -- hope your truck situation turns out well. I will miss you very much while you're on vacation.

Those biceps on Supersets are really something. I usually start out with 8's and try to go all the way through, but I haven't made it through so far -- usually I have to go down to 5's. But to do one with a 10 -- wow! I'm impressed.

Also agree with you on the water weight. I think sometimes I retain water -- and with allergy season here -- I'm thinking that might account for the weight.

We're having quite a horrible allergy season here -- there are fires all around us -- and the word is that the fire is stirring up pollen and putting tons of it in the air. I can't even step outside for 30 seconds without sneezing. Luckily there's little damage to homes and such, as its mostly in forests...poor trees...

Rhea -- I love Cardio and Weights -- and actually, noon time is the best time for me to work out, as well. There was a time when it was my regular time -- but when I'm writing the mornings are better for me, as I'm so much more alert after I work out.

I have discovered one thing with my blood sugar from a few days ago. I have to eat breakfast -- was so into getting taxes done one morning, I didn't workout and forgot to eat -- and boy, did my blood sugar kick in...

Being a lawyer must be tough sometimes -- I can only imagine. But I bet you are one who has the most understanding and empathy, not only of the situation, but of the clients, as well.

Becky -- hope you and hubby are both doing well -- I'm sure you're hanging in there with your work and studies.

Can't wait for those new workouts.

Well, again it's late. We're having company tomorrow evening -- quite a few friends coming over -- so I'll probably post a little early.

Have a wonderful day tomorrow -- and super-terrific workouts.:7

Hello ladies!

I can't believe I forgot to post yesterday!

Yesterday I did Power Max and abs from KPC.

This AM I did the Gauntlet. I'll probably do some studying on the elliptical machine tonight.

School is busy, so this has to be short, but everything is going great. Hope to be able to post more tomorrow.

-Becky

Good late morning ladies!

I can't believe it's almost 11 and I haven't showered yet! I just got my workout done this morning. It was SJP (all of it). I love my days off when I can do a longer workout and not have to worry about going to work. Actually, today is the first day of my vacation and I'm supposed to be getting stuff ready, have TONS to do! I didn't get an upper body workout in last night cuz I was getting stuff ready, but knew I could do a circuit or longer workout this morning. I think I will take my mat on vacation and maybe some DB's. We'll see. Basically, I'll be walking a lot and riding the mtn. bike some (leisurely pace). I usually do fine while on vacation and don't gain weight or lose too much strength. We stay pretty active.

Becky, I almost did one of the Terminators this morning but had SJP in my mind since last night so did that. I think the Gauntlet is a great workout too. Think the last workout like that I did was the Viper.

Rhea, think it's a good idea you are working back up in intensity. Think Cathe's new ones are going to kick butt! Sure getting chilly here in the morning. I'm sure the trees will be changing colors on our way to Oregon. I love it though.

Karen, what fun you will have with all your friends coming over tonite. Have a BLAST (though you already had a Step Blast). I know about cutting a workout short. It happens and we just go on. No big deal. Hope you can finally say goodbye to those nasty taxes for this year. Get those behind you, okay?

I may not post again until we get back in around a week so everyone have great workouts! I will look forward to reading your posts when I come back.

Jeanette

Good evening!:)

It's late, the company is gone and we had a Blast -- not a Step Blast (liked your pun, there, Jeanette), but we had fun. We had a cook out with grilled buffalo burgers, Eziekiel buns, salad, homemade onion soup and homemade ice cream with chocolate sauce. There were probably about 15 people here all besides us -- and it was really fun. Clean up is done now, and so I'm finally able to post.

It was ME for me today -- the time saver version -- which is still about an hour long. Love that workout. And tomorrow is probably IMAX2 instead of Sprint 8 as the pollen from the fires is so thick...x( Love these workouts -- I'm trying to work up my intensity, as well. One of the younger kids here guessed my age tonight at about 15 years younger than what I am. I smiled and said -- "good guess." Made me feel good, though.

Don't know if you'll get this post, Jeanette, but have a wonderful vacation. We'll look forward to seeing your smiling posts again when you return.

Becky -- sounds like you're really, really busy -- well done for keeping the workouts going during this time.

Rhea -- like Jeanette, I think you're wise to up your intensity gradually. Hope work is going well.

Again, it's late and so I must go. Have a terrific day tomorrow everyone and wonderful workouts.:7

Good Evening, Ladies!:)

It was IMAX2 for me today in its totality. Good workout -- did it during the lunch hour instead of first thing in the morning.

Still working on taxes. Hope to have them done by the end of this weekend and get them off to my accountant. x(

Hope everyone is doing well. Have been studying some of the fat-burning rotations, looking at them in terms of how many days of cardio and how many days of weights, plyometrics and anaerobics -- as well as stretching. And it looks like -- at least on the November 2005 rotation -- it was 5-6 days of cardio -- only one week of 6 days of cardio -- 2 days of some kind of anaerobics -- 2 to 3 days of weights -- only one week had three -- and 3-4 days of plyometrics -- one day devoted to a fuller stretching day. Am going to keep this in mind when I do my rotations.

Well, have a great weekend, everyone. And terrific workouts.:7
