KK's October Check In

I did the Wedding Step Ups from Cathe, but only did 30 min. of it. At least it's something.

I found a great place on the internet to purchase lye for my readers to come. The co. wants to have my book on their site. I think it is a fantastic idea and who ever make soap out there most likely have done business with them before. This will help the sale of my book I'm sure. I'm getting so excited now and it's not even published yet.

I know I said it would be sent to the publishers this Fall, but it's taking so much longer than predicted. I'm hoping now by the first part of the year, that I can send it to a couple of publishers.

I see my PS this coming Monday, and we'll talk more about the VAC. I sure hope Group Health will do this.

Karen, it is a nightmare, no doubt in my mind. Tell us all about the wedding, OK?

Rhea, look forward on Tuesday to hear from you. OK on Wed. then, you'll need time to settle back in.

Jeanette, it's not surgery anymore, at least if I can get the VAC I won't need surgery. Please continue to cross your fingers for me to be able to use the VAC.

Take care Tammy,

Janie

Good Evening!

Hi!:p Today's workout was 4DS LIS, which is quite a workout. Whew! Did I tell you that I got a copy of a thing called Tenant's Rights (my landlord said he was taking me to court.) Anyway, right in the statutes there are two of them that completely cover why I felt I had to leave. I'm sending him notice of this tomorrow.:p

Am getting excitted as the time draws near to go and see my daughter. I'll be meeting his parents for the first time, also.

Jeanette, I love those premixes from SJP and Step Blast. They are most of them a good length for me. How was golf tonight? Did you get in a bike ride, also? Boy, those chores sure sound like workouts to me.

Janie, wouldn't that be good if you could avoid surgery by doing this other procedure? In the meantime, I hope the healing is going well.

This is such good news about your book and the place to get lye, etc. I'd like to know where to get it, as well. Wow! And they want your book to sell on their site? Go, Janie!:D As they say in the entertainment industry, "Break a leg." You know what's meant by that, right?

Hi Rhea -- hope all is well with you! And a big hello to Mandy and Tammy also.

Have a super day tomorrow.

Good morning,
Today was PUB up only premix. Tonite will be a short bike ride after my yearly physical. Last night's golf game was fun. I have a golf lesson on Thursday.

Karen, glad you found something to back up your reasons to leave. Wishing you the very best in this matter. Know this is stressful. Bet you are really looking forward to your DD's wedding. Will be nice to meet the parents.

Janie, bet it feels good to do some kind of workout. Great news on obtaining the lye for your soap. Things are moving in the right direction it seems.

Good workouts today,

Today will be The Firm Vol. one. It's time we upped our workouts, they are starting to get easy. Perhaps a 25-30 min. fast walk also on the treadmill later today.;)

Jeanette, I agree with KK, your yard work are workouts! How was the yearly check up? Enjoy your golf lesson tomorrow. :)

KK, That landlord is really a trouble maker, I wonder why he is so sour? Hope things go good for you on that matter. I'm also getting excited for you and your daughters wedding. What a beautiful image!:) Enjoy meeting the grooms parents. If the lye Co. is serious about advertising my book on their website, I'm in 10th heaven! We'll see. Now I'm rushing the last two recipes so I can continue writing. Can't wait to let go of this and into a hopeful publisher. That's another story isn't it? Oh the beauties of writing.

Rhea, Have you settled in yet?

Janie

Good evening!

Just wanted to pop in and say hi and that I'm finally home. Long day today. I left Foster City at 9:30 and did not get to Santa Rosa until 11:30 (definitely do not want to commute that every day!) Had a quickie interview (government interviews are so weird, same questions to everyone.) This one was even shorter since the panel only wanted to ask those five questions to bump us to the next step. 13 people were interviewed. I'm not really interested in going to Sonoma, it is too far away from Foster City, so this was really only for practice. After the interview, I had to drive home. I probably would have been better to drive back to Foster City and start home tomorrow. I still did not get home until 6:00 p.m. So from Sonoma to Susanville was just as long as from Foster City to Susanville. Did not save any time to go home straight from Sonoma. Err. I'll sleep well tonight! Plus the animals are very happy that I am home.

Okay, I'm off to bed!

Good Evening!

Today was 4DS Bootcamp -- one of my favorites. Tomorrow is 4DS Kickbox -- which is a bit of a long workout for me -- I might try to make it a little shorter. Whew! Am swinging into mode to get things packed and head out on the road to see my daughter. :D

By the way, I might not be able to get on the computer while on the road -- probably once I reach the hotel, there will be a way to go online -- I hope so, but just so you know.

Rhea, it's great to see that you made it home safely. Yeah, that's a long commute. Government interviews -- you know, I've never had one, but I have had some weird interviews, that's a certainty. Thirteen people is a bit of competition, isn't it? Great that you did it for practice.

Jeanette, I've almost forgotten about PUB up premixes. Haven't done them in a while. I'll have to look at my scheduling and add them in a bit here and there. Golf sounds so relaxing -- something I could use right now.

Janie, the FIRM Vol. 1 is quite the workout. I don't have it here with me in Florida, but I remember doing it at least once a week -- lots of difficult let work in that one, if I remember correctly. Yeah, publishing is an entirely different thing than writing -- a completely different skill in my estimation. But it's worth it when you see your book on the shelf. :)

Thanks for your ear on this landlord thing. Goodness!

Have a super day tomorrow!:p

Good morning,
It was about 25 minutes of the cardio conditioning premix of KPC, then switched to some step from Christi Taylor - Totally Cool Step, for about 45 minutes total. Tonite is a golf lesson. Last night did the local loop on my bike in a record time for me!

Had my yearly checkup. All was good, still have the mamo and the bone density and blood tests to do. Dr. said keep doing what I'm doing, as far as he could tell. Also have a colonoscopy scheduled for next week. Yikes!

Karen, hope you have a great time with your DD. Yep, been doing a lot of premixes and mish mashes lately. Don't seem to want to do a straight workout lately. Must be ADD.

Janie, I feel your energy and excitement on getting to the end of your book. Hope the publishing process isn't too difficult.

Good Mornin,

Today is a cardio day for us. I will be getting the latest Chriti Taylor dance workout today. I'm excited about it and have been looking out the window to see if the postal person is here. Should be sometime this afternoon.

Will be seeing my PS this coming Monday. Hoping for improvement and the VAC. Will let you all know then.

KK, you are doing so well on your workouts. Hey, how is your hand doing? Are you still doing assistants? I still do them about 3 times a day. Still don't see any improvements though, darn.

Jeanette, I've gone through the examines you are going through and the colonoscopy. That one was hard for me, but they did enough to be able to tell that I was healthy. I can't wait for the DVD from Chriti Taylor to arrive today! I'm ready.

Rhea, So glad with all the driving that you are now safe at home. Even though the interview was a practice, I want you to have a great job that you will love. My fingers are crossed for you, to have one of those jobs.

I am done with the last soap recipes. Today I'm taking some time off from the book, and tomorrow lots of recipe writing. There is about 60 or more recipes. Can't do this all in one day, but I know I can do 2 or 3 recipes a day. They are all unique and deserve the utmost attention to detail. Well the whole book does, but there can't be any mistakes at all in the recipes.

Came back to tell you that I did Christi Taylor Fit to Dance. Fantastic! I could only do a short portion of it. Wow, why is that, I thought I was in better shape than that. I'll keep doing it until I can get all the way through it. Really like it a lot.

Talk with you all later,

Janie

For some reason I doubled my message, sorry about that. Can't figure out how I did that!?!?

Good Evening!

Today was 4DS Kickbox -- had to force myself to do it cause I have a bit to do to pack and get ready to go. I'm hoping to head out some time in the morning tomorrow and I don't know if I'll have access to a computer -- sometimes the hotels have them and sometimes they don't.

I'll worry about Georgie, but I think he'll be in good hands. At least he'll be in an environment that he knows and is comfortable in.

Am hoping to do Intensity series Bootcamp tomorrow, just cause the weight work outs might not be done too often in this next week. I'll take a few weights with me, but only a few.

Anyway...

Jeanette, your post made me smile. I love the mix and matches -- it's so creative. Wow, those are alot of tests that you'll be going through. I'm sure they'll all come out just fine, though. Someone on one of my talk shows that I listen to mentioned that exercise can actually change one's DNA for the better. Interesting, huh? I really do think all this exercise we do does help.

Janie, 60 different soap recipes. Wow! That is alot. And here I thought that soap was soap -- but it's true. I'm always looking for different kinds of soap -- interesting how it's so much a part of our lives and one that I've taken for granted. Don't fret with the new workout. You're still in some respects recovering. So take is step by step and you'll get there.

The hand is better, thank goodness. It still goes to sleep alot and I do the assists about once a day -- sometimes I forget, but I notice that the pain is better when I do them. Slowly, slowly it's coming along -- thanks for asking, Janie.

Okay, so I may be off email for a while -- I'll try to post when I can. Wish I had the kind of camera that can post pictures on the web -- but I don't.

Hi Rhea! Hope you're recovering well from your trip.

Hi Tammy and Mandy!

Have a super day tomorrow!:D

Morning,
Today was about 40 minutes from Cardio Fusion, then the stability ball abs from Butts & Guts. Had a good golf lesson last night. Lots to work on. Think we will go woodcutting tomorrow.

Karen, have a wonderful time at the wedding. Hope you can get some pictures to post for us too. Wow, exercise changing the DNA? Wouldn't that be wonderful! I know it makes me feel better, if nothing else.

Janie, so glad you enjoyed your new Christi Taylor. Guess I need to order it too as I love all of my Christi DVD's. Sending good vibes out for VAC to be approved.

Have a great weekend everyone,

Good morning!

I'm here doing the work recovery....yuck. I have a trial next week, so I'm rushing around once again. No workout for me yesterday as I had to clean the house since DH and his friend are coming up for hunting trip this weekend. Had to at least get the cat boxes cleaned out and whatever else the cats had been into while I was gone. (which turned out to be quite a lot the little twirps.)

Well, everyone have a great weekend. Karen - drive safe and give my congratulations to your daughter!

Talk to you later everyone!

Mornin,

I can't believe it's Friday already. Seems like it was just a couple of days ago. My, how times fly.

Joey's back is sore today, I'll be doing Forza (the sword workout). Tomorrow our workout schedule is The Firm vol. 1. Sun. will do a Cathe pure cardio. Mon will do The Firm vol. 1 or 2.

Rhea, Good luck on your trial next week, I bet it takes a lot of preperation for one. You remind me that my house needs cleaning too. I better do it this weekend. Enjoy your hubby.

Jeanette, Why do you need golf lessons? What do you have to work on? Woodcutting is a powerful job. Try to get some rest afterwords OK? How were all your tests?

KK, Enjoy yourself at the wedding. Do take pictures if you can. I think you said you didn't have a digital camera. Someone there, I'm sure does. Ask them to download the pictures to your computer or by coping it to a disk. Don't worry about Georgie, he'll be fine. I'll be doing the assissts everyday, thanks to you.

Have terrific weekends everyone,

Janie

Good Saturday morning everyone!

Just wanted to pop in and say hi. Hope everyone has a great weekend.

KK - hope you got north safe and sound.

Janie - having fun with that new Christi?

Jeanette - going to be a nice weekend. I'm at work early this morning so I can play a bit this weekend. My DH and his buddies are off for a opening day of bird hunting. So I've got to be able to get some "me" time to workout before they get back!

Tammy/Mandy - hope you two are doing good. Haven't heard from you in a while.

Well, back to work.

Oh dear, had to dig this out of the third page. Not much to add for this weekend. I only got in one workout. Did 5/6 Sculpt of P90 master series. Also did some window washing and lots of yard work. Got the patio furniture put away for the winter, things like that. Also worked at the office 1/2 day Saturday while the guys were bird hunting.

Not sure what will be the workout today. I did not sleep well last night. Tossed and turned all night....so no hard core cardio today.

Well, I had better get to work.
Talk to you later.

Mornin,

Rhea, What is bothering you that you couldn't sleep? Will your hubby be able to stay with you longer than a weekend? Fall duties, I know the drill for cleaning up the yard.:(

I see my PS today and I'm hoping that Group Health will allow me to use the VAC system to help me heal. I just don't see any improvement at all. If anything it looks to me that it is getting worse. Only my doctor will be able to tell me I guess. I hate that this is happening to me! The stench from the wound is embarrassing. I just feel that all that ugly mess from my wound goes into my body systems. It just can't be healthy at all. I'm probably worried about nothing.

Just had to vent you guys. Will let you know how it goes, I'm sure you all are getting sick and tired of me complaining. Oh, how the drama continues. EEEERRRRRRRRRRRRRR! I'm sorry. There's got to be good news for me.

Janie

Geeze, Janie - I sure hope that everything goes well with the PS today. I would be just like you, getting tired of it all. Positive vibes to you! Have a great day.

Sleep was probably elusive from numerous things. Oh well, that's life!

Rhea, Thank you for the good vibes.

I did make it to my PS. He cut more dead tissue out, and this time I'm starting to feel it. Doc says that is good news. He also said I'm bleeding some, which also is good new. The VAC didn't come in to play today. My PS is going to call and see what is keeping them from my treatment. He thinks next week I will have the VAC. Without the VAC system it could take up to a year or more for it to heal. With the VAC it may take 3-4 months. We'll see. It still is up to Group Health though.

I'll try hard not to talk about it so much. I know it gets to be "enough already".

Today is my rest day, will do a full body workout tomorrow.

Talk again,

Janie

Morning ladies,
No workout for me yesterday as it was my rest day. Saturday, DH and I cut wood, then Sunday was a group bike ride in a neighboring valley. Really fun! Yesterday was golf after work with some girlfriends. Today was about 35 minutes of Imax2, then switched to abs from Butts & Guts. I think tonite will be wood stacking Max.

Janie, crossing my fingers that you can get the VAC. Please continue to let us know how you are doing. In no way do I think you are complaining or whining at all. My heart just goes out to you on this.

Karen, hope you are having a wonderful time at your DD's. How was the wedding? Can't wait to hear.

Rhea, hope you got to play too. Every once in a while I have trouble sleeping but not too often, thank goodness.

Have a great day today. I'm in training all day so will be sitting on my butt. Hope to get a nice walk in during lunchtime though.

I'm feeling better today, and excepting the things the way they are. It is what it is, and so I have to deal with it, period. What ever comes up I will deal with it, such as life. ;) On my off days I know I can talk about it and not be ridiculed.

I have a life outside this cyber space, but in here with you all does help. Your courage and knowledge with your lives, attention to other members and just wanting the best for everyone is quite an inspiration to me. You guys are quite the group to be in. I'm so glad I found this particular group. Awesome!:)

Jeanette, Sounds like you had a wonderful weekend with family and friends. Got to get my IMAXs out one of these days.

Rhea, hope the sleeping is better. Pour yourself a cup of warm milk, wrap in a warm and cuddly blanket and get some rest. Hopefully no elusive dreams will come your way.;) Take care OK?

Today Joey and I will do The Firm Vol. 1, Susan Harris. It's a fairly good workout. I think after this one we'll be going on to Cathe. YEAH!

KK, Hoping you are having a great time at the wedding.:D

Talk with you all later,

Janie
