KK's March 2007

Good morning!

Yep, great soaker! I was driving in some of it. Ended up having to run to Reno to pick up my rims and tires. At least that chore is done for the year.

Sure glad that you are feeling better Karen and that you found the source of your gains. I made the mistake of weighing myself this morning....ugh! Right back up there again. Time again to get serious, like you, I don't feel good at certain weights and this is definately the very high end of my comfort zone.

Becky I hope you are still alive out there!

Talk to you later!

Good Evening!:)

It was IMAX2 -- last 1/2 of it for me today -- and boy, was it a workout. Am still in a bit of a detox mode and so I'm going to just keep my workouts somewhat short until I'm past this point.

Got in 14 pages today -- would love to do that tomorrow -- changed my schedule somewhat -- I have to do something -- this deadline is almost there.

Jeanette -- you reminded me of Low Max -- one I rarely do -- but that would be a good one to pull out, too. Hope you enjoyed your spin -- I've been taking a spin almost everyday now that my bike is fixed. Nothing serious, just getting out there and enjoying it.

Oh, the name of this book -- of course editors usually change these things -- but right now I'm calling it Song of the Lion. It's the last book in the Lost Clan series. Whew!

Rhea -- boy, do I know how it feels to get on that scale and see the weight up there. Yes, it does appear now that probably much of my weight gain was due to this spider bite. Amazing. I know the venom is really poisonous, but this is a bit. And now that I know and with the detox -- and of course monitoring my eating -- the weight is gradually coming off...which is good. I do feel better at certain weights -- that's for sure.

Becky -- sure hope you're okay out there

Well, I'm off to bed now -- face exercises to do and then hit the sacka and get up early and work.

Edited to say that I plan on touring here locally in June -- geez, I gotta start scheduling that tour already...

Have a super fantastic day and some incredible, productive workouts!:7

Morning,
Didn't get the bike ride in yesterday afternoon, too cold and windy, then snowy! Once the weather turns nice and then goes back to cold again, it's hard for me to get out in it. DH brought home a new washing machine for me (not new, but hardly used by a friend of his). My old Maytag was about 25-26 years old. He was tired of having to work on it.

Today's workout was Slim Series Tone It Up. Will try to get that spin ride in again today.

Karen, glad you are feeling better. Way to go on getting the pages in. Keep going, girl! Lowmax was good yesterday, though modified to include some ab work too.

Rhea, glad you got the tires/wheels picked up. Nice to know that is done. I was talking to a friend about his golfing. He says the local course is closed. Not sure if he meant for good or just part or what? What's the scoop?

Got to go now.
Jeanette

Good morning!

I did get to do a short workout yesterday after all! Yippee. I did Kickin Cardio. Tweaked my shoulder a bit though...rats I think I have a pinched ligament in there. I do have a massage scheduled for today, so I think I'll be having her work on the shoulder a bit.

The golf course, who knows. Sore subject with the golfers around here. The people that lease the course from the city are not opening up, they refuse. The city is supposedly taking it over, but the person in charge (F. Cady) says he will not let them. People can play for $10.00, "winter" fees. But there is no bathrooms, range, no one cutting the greens or even any type of maintenance that can be seen. Funny, I can understand how people don't want to pay money, even $10 to someone who refuses to run the place. It is going to make some golfers just go to Bailey Creek or Almanor West.

Well, gotta run...have a nice day!

Good morning,

Today's workout was yoga by Shiva Rea. About 45 minutes total time. Felt good. Tonite will be a hill climb on my bike. Last evening did a short, easy spin over to my parent's house (3.5 miles) and back. Wind was blowing a little and a bit chilly so didn't feel motivated to do a lot but am planning on doing a tougher ride after work tonite.

Rhea, sorry about the shoulder, hopefully it's nothing that will last long. Sorry about the golf course action. Whatever happened to the course that was to be built out on Belfast Rd. by McCain?

Karen, hope you are okay, didn't hear from you yesterday. Bet you've been really busy.

Good Morning!:)

Hard for me to believe I forgot to post. It's just this deadline -- sorry. I so love coming here that I can't believe before I went to bed that I forgot.x(

Anyway, yesterday, it was a short cardio from Step Works (about 30 minutes) and then a stretch on the ball. About 50 minutes all total. Love that ball.

Also wrote 9 pages -- am still making my way back to where I left off -- I've had to go back to make corrections.

Jeanette -- sorry it's been snowy and too cold to ride. Am getting to be a casual rider -- it's a pleasure thing and not a workout at this point. Think I'm going to bite the bullet here soon and get the CTX series -- it's one I've wanted forever and my purchasing of other workouts is on hold until I have that one. And I've almost got the money saved up, so...

A new washing machine. Wow! That's wonderful. Ours is about 20 years old -- and it has its problems, but no plans for a new one yet.

Rhea -- sorry about your shoulder -- hope the massage helped. I know they do for me. Since I've been getting a massage now and again, I no longer have to wear a knee brace or bandage (not sure of the term) on my knee.

Not that I have the exact problem, but I have to watch it on kickboxing, as well. If I do it incorrectly, I'll throw out my left hip and then be limping around.:+

There's a golf shooting range here that's also going out of business soon. It's too bad -- I think they're been there over 30 years. But we have a new golf course that was built up around what we call the wash here. It is beautiful and has made that part of the wash very beautiful, too. When I go by there, I think of you.

Well, I'm off to work. Hi, ho, hi, ho!

Have a super day and some terrific workouts!:7

Good Evening!:)

Rhea, yes, you'll have to come down here and go to this beautiful golf course. Very, very beautiful.

Tomorrow is either the first or last part of IMAX3 -- today was pretty much the entire work out of Push/Pull. Am still detoxing, but not nearly like I was. Gradually, my strength is building up again.

Jeanette -- hope your ride was great!

And Becky -- hope you haven't disappeared into one of those volumes of books.

Have a super, terrific day and some great workouts!:7

Morning,

It was leg day today so I did the Leg Blast premix from Butts & Guts and then the stability ball abwork from B&G. Feels good now. Got a hill climb in last night. DH and I will be going out to the desert tomorrow for some fun on the Rhino. The dogs will love it too no doubt.

Karen, glad the strength is growing. Do you take anything special to detox? Hope you enjoy Imax3. Push/pull is a good one too. Glad you are enjoying your bike again. When will you order the CTX series?

Rhea, hope the shoulder is better now. Should be a nice weekend.

Jeanette

Good Evening!:)

Am probably on my own over the weekend as few of us check in on weekends.

It was IMAX3 the latter part of it for me today. Was tired when I did it, but toward the end things picked up. And Tomorrow is HSC -- a premix, I believe -- another one I really like.

Production was down today -- only 5 pages written -- I'm still going back to correct things, which makes for slower production. Darn!

Jeanette -- I'm taking some amino acids -- a complex formula to help with the detox -- odd how that bite is still affecting me. Hope to get CTX within the next couple of weeks.

Well, that's about all for now. Have a super weekend, everyone.

Hope your shoulder is better, Rhea, and hope you're doing okay, Becky.:7
