KK's March 2007

Good evening ladies.

Today I did a 45 minute treadmill run. DH and I are doing a 5K on Saturday, so I am sort of prepping for that.

Hope everyone had a great day!

-Becky

Good morning,

Today was Slim Series Firm It Up, including the abs. A real butt burner. Tonite I'll help DH with his routine.

Karen, I didn't have time to view all of the clip but saw a little bit of it. What is in the chemtrail and where does it come from? Why are they being deposited in the sky? A CO is a Correctional Officer (a prison guard). The state prison industry is just full of acronyms and abbreviations. You learn them after a while. Even a lot of the townfolk know them.

Becky, have fun on your run tomorrow.

Rhea, hope the trial went okay and the butterflies are long gone. I used to get a bit nervous before singing before crowds. Once we started, I was okay.

Hope everyone has a great weekend. Should be nice weather. Have some work to do around the house, maybe help my mom with some pictures and then a bike ride on Sunday.

Jeanette

Good Morning!:)

Am checking in early once again. It was Muscle Max for me today -- the premix TimeSaver that's 57 minutes. Boy, the abs on that are sure hard. Whew!

Well, it's off to the races for me today -- I managed to write 8 pages yesterday and need to write 15 today. It's really fun writing this book, cause I get to research the old Wild West shows -- and there's actual footage of these -- Buffalo Bill and the Indians -- interesting -- so very, very interesting.

Jeanette -- I stand in awe of all these series's that you are doing. Where did you find the slim series? That sounds interesting, too.

In that link I sent you those pictures look exactly like what is being sprayed here -- I wonder if some of those picts were taken in LA, actually. On analysis, the trails have metallic salts in them of aluminium, titanium, barium and magnesium. Barium and aluminium are the disturbing ones as barium is toxic on the order of arsenic and aluminium is tied to Alsheimers (excuse my spelling). Why it's being done? I don't know and haven't been able to find out. No one is putting forth reason for it, the main tactic being to deny it's even being done. Of course on the internet, one can find many theories including weather control, but they are only theories. I'll just have to keep looking.

Becky -- that 5K run sounds fun. Bet you'll do it and have a great time, as well. Have a great weekend with your DH.

Rhea -- hope that trial goes well today and that your weekend will be one a rest and relaxation. Have a super one.

Oh, Jeanette -- you sing! What do you sing? I love to sing, as well, although my voice is not all that great. The story I'm writing right now, the heroine is an opera diva.

Okay, it's back to work for me. Have a super, super day and some terrific workouts everyone! :7

Good Evening!:)

Hope you all have had a relaxing, beautiful weekend. Sunday was a gorgeous day here in LA -- windy, balmy and pretty. But I took the day off exercise wise. Just felt like getting out.

Well, the biggest part of my promo (galleys ore what's called arc's -- advanced reading copies) is almost done. I have them packaged and ready to go -- once they are in the mail, just the promo to bookstores left -- which is easier and then that's it -- I can spend the evenings writing instead of working on promo. Whew!

Here's the plan of attack for next week -- am going to stick with this workout plan, as the weight is gradually coming off --
I always like to start the week out with a bang, so here goes:

Mon: IMAX2
Tues: Muscle Endurance
Wed: BM2 cardio and a stretch
Thurs: Supersets
Fri: Drill Max premix (46 minutes)
Sat: KPC
Sun: Off

Well, that's the plan. The weight is being tempermental -- but I do notice a change for the better, so I'll just stick with this plan for now.

Have a super day tomorrow everyone and some great workouts!:7

Morning,

Had a really nice weekend. Saturday I spent time with my Mom, working on her computer, getting pictures developed. Also did Turbo Jam Cardio Party. Fun. Yesterday was our group's bike ride, had 12 riders and I did 57 miles at a lickety split pace. Afterwards, DH and I took the dogs out to the desert and just relaxed. It was very nice watching the sun go down.

Today's workout was Slim Series Shape It Up, which I enjoyed. It's long (78 minutes or so), so I just quit at 60 minutes, but still got some good work in.

Karen, glad the weight is coming off, enjoy your Imax2 workout today. Think I will do that one tomorrow!

Got to run, hi to Rhea and Becky,

Jeanette

Had a great weekend!

Was in Redding Sat for a birthday party (five year old niece) Loved the weather. Almost too warm for what I was wearing.

Yesterday was absolutely lovely, 70 degrees. So I cleaned the pond (oh joy, that was soooooo much fun...well the dogs thought so, they got to sniff and chew at all the yucky stuff I threw out of the pond...dogs are weird) Then I didn't really have a lot of energy left after that three hour project, so I did Cardio and Weights. Not sure what is on the menu for today. Maybe just a cardio party. I'm trying to get myself to adjust to the time. This morning was not pretty!.

Talk to y'all later.

Good Afternoon!:)

Am logging on a little early -- am taking a break from writing -- got all the things mailed off today -- all that's left of this particular promotional action is postcards and letters to booksellers, which is so much easier. But I sure will be glad when the whole thing is done.

Jeanette -- sounds like a great weekend. I can almost imagine how it must have been watching the sun go down in the desert. Wonderful. Sounds like you're keeping up with the workouts. I, too, have to quit after 60 minutes, just don't have the time to spend on longer workouts right now.

Rhea -- Your comments always make me laugh -- my morning wasn't pretty either. I really hate losing that hour. Pond cleaning sound like fun...not...x( Dogs are strange, aren't they? The smellier, the ickier -- gee, they sure love it.

Oh, here a link about chemicals and fat, etc. I was reading it today and it made some sense to me, as I just hadn't been able to find anything to account for the weight, outside of environmental toxins. This is from the site www.allnaturalcosmetics.com -- there's the link if you want to have a look: http://www.allnaturalcosmetics.com/article 1.htm

Okay, I'd best get back to work. Have a terrific rest of the day and some wonderful workouts!:7

Edited to correct a misspelled word. :)

My spring break was so wonderful. I ended up not posting since DH and I were having so much fun together. It was nice to be a wife again and not a crazed med student.

Workouts:
Thursday: I did 50 minutes on the treadmill, 24 of which I timed a quick 5K. I was proud of that time. Need to get it lower for next year though.
Friday: rested so I could be pumped for the race
Saturday: 5K race. DH ended up wanting me to stay with him, so my time wasn't very good. I ended up sprinting the last mile though...my heart rate wasn't up enough and DH could tell I was frustrated...I am very competitive and it about killed me to not go as fast as I could the whole way. :)
Sunday: I am a bum...I ended up resting again.
Monday (today): The weather was so nice that I had to run outdoors by the lake. I did a little over 4 miles total.
Tomorrow I am supposed to do Legs and Glutes followed by Core Max.

This week is crazy with school too. We have a cumulative (as in both years of medical school) exam on Friday that counts for 10% of my pathology grade. It is a practice board exam. Not looking forward to it. So, I studied all night and now must go to sleep. I hope everyone else hadgreat days.

-Becky

Good morning,

Today was Imax2 and I really enjoyed it immensely. Tonite will be a casual bike ride around our local loop after work. Last night I did Ab Jam for my abs.

Rhea, I sure wish our weather would stay like this, high 60's to 70's. That would be perfect. I walked our little track at lunch time (about a mile) and it was soooo nice. First time I've done it without a coat on. What's it been, 2 weeks since the snowstorm? Hard to believe it can change that much. Glad you got the pond cleaned. I still have a little snow in the front yard under the deck overhang. DH did a little bit of trimming yesterday.

Becky, sounds like the race wasn't all you wanted. Sometimes we just have to have a different mindset going into it. I do that when I ride with newbies. I just figure it's not going to be a tough workout and enjoy the company and the sport. That way they come back for more.

Karen, sounds like you are getting a handle on the promotional stuff. Will you be going to Florida again this year? Interesting link re: the environmental toxins. I'm sure your weight gain isn't even noticeable to anyone else. I bet you'll get it figured out or already have.

Jeanette

This morning I did Legs and Glutes. I intend to do a segment of core max after class.

Must get back to studying. Hope everyone has a great day!

-Becky

Good Evening!:)

I was supposed to do ME today, but I was so tired (I think I'm detoxing) that I opted for Push/Pull, an easier workout that I found challenging anyway.

What a gorgeous day today here, as well. None of those areosol trails in the sky -- lots of sunshine, pleasant temperature. I even went for a bike ride after working out.

Good day at production today -- 15 pages -- which is very needed, as I didn't get much written yesterday. Target is 20 tomorrow.

Becky -- glad that spring break was so good for you and your DH -- the race sounds like fun, as well. And now it's back down to business with studying, huh? You'll do well, Becky. You'll do well. If only cause you're working so hard. Go to it.

Jeanette -- Isn't IMAX2 fun? And then you did a ride, too. Isn't the weather just beautiful? I didn't get out in it much today, but I couldn't stay indoors all day like I usually do -- it was just wonderful.

Rhea -- are you getting your legs back again after the time change? I'm still sleepy, as well -- and am hoping the body adjusts soon.

Tomorrow's plan is up early -- write -- workout -- then write some more -- if I make my target, maybe go shopping.;-)

Have a really super day and some wonderful workouts!:7

Good morning,
Today was Slim Series Mix It Up, with an ab workout tonite, I'm thinking Ab Ripper X as it's so effective and good for the core. Did a short and easy bike ride last night.

Karen, hope you meet your goal of pages written and then go shopping. Do you have something in mind you would like to buy? A bike ride for you too? Where do you ride? Bet it was wonderful!

Hi to everyone,

Jeanette

Good morning ladies. Today I did KM Bootcamp premix (50 min)...it was everything except the leg drills. I may do the leg drills later tonight.

Gotta get back to the grindstone.

Hope everyone has a great day!

-Becky

Oops, forgot to post yesterday!

Hmm, did Imax2 on Monday (it was already in the machine since I had done Cardio and Weights;-) ) Then did LIC yesterday, the whole shebang. Being feeling good with the workouts, sure hope it continues. Could be due to the cleaner eating too.

Well, gotta run to court....

Talk to you later.

Morning,

It was Karen Voit's Yoga Focus for me, an old video I had, but I enjoyed it and she really stretches you out good. I did the strength and the stretch segments. Have a bike ride after work tonite.

Nice workouts, ladies. Karen, hope you are doing well.

Jeanette

Good Morning!:)

I forgot to post yesterday. A symptom of deadline-osis, I think. ;-)

Jeanette -- Those slim series's sound good. I think I may have the same Karen Voight tape -- an older workout that really stretches you out good. Hope your rides go well. Yes, I've been riding my bike the last few days -- nothing serious -- just gentle relaxing rides around athe neighborhood -- I may go further into the foothills, though, when I have a little more time. Have forgotten how relaxing and how much I like riding.

Rhea -- wow! Sounds like you are really getting into the swing -- and am so glad that you're feeling better. I love both those workouts you did. LIC is long, though -- but when I have the time, I really enjoy it -- especially the music in the stretch. Cleaner eating -- workouts, they do help, don't they?

Becky -- can tell you're really into studying. KM is one of those that I really must get -- I have the rest of the series except for the GS's -- and so I really should complete it, and then get onto getting the CTX series.

It was BM2 for me -- cardio only (about 33 min) and then the stretch with the band. Good workout. Today is Supersets. Page wise, I wrote 10 pages yesterday -- didn't make my target, but I'm happy about it nonetheless. Didn't go shopping, but I did take a bikeride after I had finished writing for the day.

Then the evening was spent again with promo. I should be able to finish that off within the next few days. Hopefully...

Weight wise, I'm not losing anything -- again -- despite really restricting myself (only two meals yesterday -- mostly cause I got a stomach ache in the middle of the day. Still I would have thought I would have lost something as my water intake is high -- but nothing... I've ordered that book from that site that I mentioned -- on chemicals and fat, etc. We'll see...

Okay, sorry for the long post. Hope you all have a terrific workout today and tonight and some really productive day.:7

Good morning!

Let's see... yesterday.....Kick Max, the entire thing. I think Becky got me started to do that one. I really want to do it more often because I love the leg conditioning drills and need a lot of work. Like Cathe says, I'm good on the downhill side!

I think that today will be ME. I need a full weight workout and that sounds good to me.

Hope everyone is doing well! Have a great day.

Good Evening!:)

Supersets was great today -- love that workout on the ball. Tomorrow is Drill Max for me, I think or one of the IMAX's. Took another bike ride today -- went up into the foothills -- although I walked the bike up the steepest hill. Have forgotten just how much I enjoy bike riding.

Made 8 pages today -- again not on target, but had a few plot troubles and so 8 was good, I think.

Promo stuff again tonight -- boy, this really is a lot to do -- have only about 368 more promo letters to send out to bookstores and such and then I can concentrate for a few days on other things -- before I then have to start planning the tour for June -- it'll be a tour from home this year, which will be good.

Rhea, I'm going to have to get KM as well -- Becky has also peeked my interest in it. Sounds like you're really hitting the workouts well.

Have a super day tomorrow and some incredible workouts!:7

Good morning,

Today was Slim Series Firm It Up, all lower body workout. Last night was a bike ride workout that was excellent. I was very pleased with my performance out riding with the fellas.

Karen, glad you enjoyed Supersets. That's a good one. Can't remember if it's that one or Push/Pull where the biceps work is a killer. Think it is the concentrated bicep work. Glad you are enjoying your bike rides. If we were closer, we could ride together and that would be wonderful :7 .

Rhea, enjoy ME. Any golfing in your schedule yet?

Hi Becky,

Jeanette

Good morning!

Loved ME. Puttting that one in the rotation more I looked at my training diary and I don't think I have done that one for almost a year. Wow.

No golfing for me yet. I have to wait until I get out on the range and it is not open yet. If I go out with no practice, I'll probably get frustrated and not have fun. I don't want to do that...

Well, to the grindstone. Thank goodness it is Friday!!!
