KK's March 2007

Good Evening!:)

Since it's 10:30PM and almost March, I figured I'd start the March check-in.

It was BM2 cardio section only (about 33 min) and a stretch today. Love those stretches.

Well, this morning, again there was a slight weight loss -- 1/2 pound. I'm thinking that it might be environmental toxins as it started coming off when I started taking a mix of amino acids, which are pretty well known to help flush out environment toxins. We'll see -- am eating about the same amount (very little) each day and the same thing each day, (rather boring actually) until this gets under better control. Have at least come down to the high end of the weight that I can normally tolerate.

Jeanette -- so good to see you posting. Brought a smile to my face imagining you working out having to read with your glasses. It would be the same with me if I were to do it that way. Glad the power is back on. I'll be looking for Cathe's rotation, as well.

Becky -- 82 degrees. Okay, makes me long to be where you are.:) Doesn't LIC really work the arms -- it's becoming one of those workouts I look forward to.

Rhea -- I think I'd have a thought or two about MIC first thing in the morning, as well. Speaking of Charlene -- I'm going to start saving money right now to get some more workouts. The CTX series I've been wanting for a while and now the P90X's and I need to replenish my Charlene workouts, as well.

Well, it wasn't as good a production day for me today, as I had a friend come visiting. Did about 6 pages. And then promotional actions again in the evening.

Researching the Wild West shows is proving to be really interesting reading. And let's see I have on the rotation Drill Max tomorrow -- the 43 minute premix.

Have a dazzling, super day and some terrific workouts!:7

Good morning,

Happy March 1st today! Today was XStretch for me, felt good to stretch out. Did a Cardio Coach #3 spin session last night. Good and intense. The fellas liked it but think the longer sessions like #5, #6 or #7 would be better. Of course, you can always repeat segments to make it longer. Was a nice break from Spinervals. Also worked DH on the Bowflex and free weights for shoulders, back and abs.

Karen, glad the weight is coming off. Sorry that you are cutting your calories back so much. No fun, but I know where you're coming from. Hopefully you've found the answer to the weight gain.

Rhea, sorry you had to work in a cold courtroom. Hope we don't have any more power outages for a while. Me likes my power and power dependent stuff.

Becky, enjoy your pool time. If you have to study, guess I'd like to be by the pool too.

Great workouts,

Jeanette

Good morning!

I was very bad this molrning and did not roll out of bed to workout. I just didn't have the motivation. Could have had something to do with the bottle of wine I split with my hubby last night. Darn it. So I'll have to get a lot of work done today here at the office so I can sneak out earlish and get in something fun. I'm thinking of Cardio Fusion or something like it. Then tomorrow morning I will stick to a weight workout. I might try the March rotation starting next week. I'll have to see.

Talk to you later.

Good Evening!:)

It was Drill Max premix -- the cardio 46 minute premix -- actually with cool down, it turns out to be about 50 minutes. I was tired this morning and so had to force my way through this workout, but I did it. Yea!

Jeanette -- Xstretch sounds good and the cardio spin, as well. Did I tell you that my hubby fixed our bikes. I took a ride yesterday and noticed I used muscles I don't normally use.

Rhea -- hope you got to workout this evening. I understand those kinds of mornings. I often have them, too. The March workout looks good, though.

Well, no weight lost yesterday, but none gained, so I'm okay with that. I'll just keep at it -- like I said, eventually it will come off -- but with much effort it seems.

It was 8 pages done for me today -- 2 short of the mark, unfortunately. Tomorrow I have a radio interview -- and again today, I had a friend stop over, so some of my production time was lost. But overall, I'm fairly happy with the production.

Gotta go back to the old post and see what I'm supposed to be doing tomorrow. I forget. : )

Have a super day, everyone and some terrific workouts!:7

Good morning,

Today was Core Synergistics, and boy is it a goodie! I always find this one a challenge. Last time in P90X for me on this one. Tonite will be DH's workout. Hopefully, a bike ride on Sunday with the group. Weather I think will be okay.

Rhea, oh you do like your wine LOL! I used to love to have a glass or two with my mom on Friday afternoons after work. Trouble is that then she'd get out the crackers and cheese and nuts and...and... I'm long overdue and it'd be fun to stop by and have one with her. Dad likes his little shot of brandy about 5:00 every night.

Karen, that's cool that your DH fixed your bikes! Yep, it is different muscles, but the learning curve is pretty quick. It's the toughening up of your butt that takes a bit longer. Hope you get to enjoy it some more. Hope you get lots of writing done today. Nice to see friends, but sometimes it puts a kink in the day.

Jeanette

Good morning!

Well, I more than made up for not rolling out of bed yesterday. I got home a bit early and popped in Cardio Fusion. I did the whole program. Okay, I had to skip the squat thrusts at the end, I was just too pooped. Everytime a new drill start, I was like, what, another? How many are there?

This morning I did an old Firm...the BBS4 Supercharged sculpting. I picked it because it was short (30 minutes) and strictly weights. It was a good choice.

Have a great day everyone and a wonderful weekend.

Good morning!:)

Am checking in early today. It was PLB for me today, the entire workout -- great workout -- my legs are really feeling it.:)

Jeanette -- Core synergistics -- sounds really fantastic. Last time for it on this program. And what a program it has been, huh? Hope your ride tonight and your work with you hubby will be great. Yes, they are different muscles, but I hope to get into it more and more.

Rhea -- the entire Cardio Fusion? Wow! I'm impressed -- I've never done it -- have only done the premixes. Whew! That FIRM workout sounds good, too.

Becky -- have a super weekend -- am sure you're spending it with your hubby (and at the pool)?

Well hope everyone has a terrific weekend. I plan to spend a bunch of time with my hubby and of course get some work done. Am just starting writing -- have a radio interview today, and then back to work. 15 pages is my target.

Have some super workouts!:7

Short post -- as a sort of diary:

It was PUB today -- down only, along with a short cardio from Cardio Hits. Total workout time was about 80 minutes, which is long for me -- down only is slightly longer than up only for some reason -- I think because it stretches after each exercise -- which I rather like.

Tomorrow is my day off.

Have a great weekend!

Good Evening!:)

Time to figure out just what sort of rotation I'm doing next week.

Am taking it a little easy, still, in an effort to control the weight better.

Here's the plan:

Mon: IMAX1

Tues: Power Hour

Wed: 30min. steady state cario (outside if I can) and stretch

Thurs: Muscle Max

Fri: IMAX3

Sat: Either KPC or Tae Bo -- around 40 minute workout

Well, that's the plan for this week. Have a super day, everyone!:7

Good morning,

Hope everyone had a good weekend. DH and I went to Reno on Saturday and looked at woodstoves. That was fun. Yesterday was the group bike ride and finished painting trim in the family room. Now I can put the paint stuff away. Glad that's done.

Today was my first day off of P90X as I graduated from it on Sunday. I'm doing kind of a faux Classic rotation for ths week. Today was GS Chest, and then the Chest part only of P90X Master Series. Every 3rd chest exercise, I'd throw in some lat pulldowns from my Bowflex. I'm feeling nice and toasty right now and got a good arm pump. Tonite will help DH on his workout and do Tracey Staehle's Core Conditioning for about 15 minutes. That's a new DVD for me so first time. I hear it can be tough.

Karen, hope you got to spend lots of time with your DH and got a lot of writing in. How was the radio interview? Looks like a fun week of workouts planned.

Rhea, you are getting some good workouts in too. Are you longing for golf to start up soon? Lots of snow melt this weekend. Reno didn't have much over there. We definitely received more than they did.

Hi Becky, hope your weekend was nice.

Jeanette

Good morning!

Let's see, this weekend was Kick Max on Saturday (after working at the office for about six hours). Yesterday went to Reno (had to get stuff for Bunco at my house tomorrow night!) and actually got back early, so I decided to workout and did Kickin Cardio. Today is a day off. I'm tired. Of course, that may change when I get home in the afternoon. I may want to do some sort of cardio just to get the blood flowing. (After sitting most of the day, workouts are great for getting less stiff!)

Well, won't be here much this week. I have a trial on Thurs and Fri, with regular court days Mon-Wed. Err.

Good Evening!:)

Sounds like you both had a good weekend. And now, here we are in a new week. It was IMAX1 for me today -- got up kinda tired and so didn't really want to do it, but again, felt so much better after the workout was done.

Diet is going okay. Lost maybe about 1/2 over the weekend -- but it's tough and it's coming off really tough. I think the problem has been environmental toxins because it's been getting better ever since I started taking a mix of amino acids, which is known to rid of body of these kinds of toxins. I'm thinking the toxins must be coming from whatever these things are in the sky that these planes are spraying over LA. Those jets were out like crazy today and all weekend long. Wish they'd stop.

Jeanette, am glad that your painting is done. Somehow and some time we're going to get our house painted, as well. Sounds like you really did great today, your first day off P90X. The radio interview went well -- we talked longer than what it was supposed to be -- and ended up talking for about an hour.

Rhea -- you sound really busy. Hope those trials go well -- it's sounds intense. Great to see that you're keeping up with the workouts. Kick Max is a pretty tough workout I've heard. I don't have it yet but my daughter does.

Becky -- hope your weekend was great. Am sure you're studying like crazy.

Well, have a great day tomorrow and some super workouts!:7

Good morning,

Feeling DOMS in my chest this morning, something I haven't had for a while. This morning I did P90 Masters Series of Plyo Legs. Not as intense as P90X, but it's not intended to be. More leg work alone without impact in this one, but it's definitely a keeper. I then added on some unweighted squats and firewalkers from Cathe's Butts & Guts. Last night I did some of Tracey Staehle's Core Conditioning. That has more isometric holds in it so worked my abs in a different way.

Karen, sounds like that weight is coming off pretty good now and maybe you've found the secret. What is that stuff they are spraying from the planes? Glad you pushed thru Imax1 today. HOpe you aren't so tired tomorrow morning.

Rhea, a busy week for you, check in when you can.

Becky, are you posting this month?

Got to go now,

Jeanette

Good morning,

Hmmmm, no one around yesterday? Hope everyone is okay. I switched my rotation to a more low weight, high rep workout for this week so did Slim Series Tone It Up, omitting the abs section, which I will do tonite. Have a spin session with the Garage Boys, my last one this winter as the time changes this weekend and then I'll have time to be out on my bike on the road after work, instead of in a garage. Will work DH afterwards and then finish my abwork, which will be Ab Ripper X.

Have good workouts today,

Jeanette

Hi ladies! This past week has been crazy.

Last Wednesday I decided to go home to Pensacola. I had Thursday off from classes and DH was going to do a 1/2 day on Friday anyway to drive to Tallahassee so we could drive down to St. Pete together for a friend's wedding. Instead, he took the whole day off and drove me at 3am (central) to get to my 7:45 (eastern) test. I slept. :)

It was really nice getting those extra days with him...even if I had to study.

Then we had the wedding...which was really nice except it rained and the outdoor wedding went to plan B...inside. Now I am on spring break and at home in Pensacola. DH has to work during the day so I have been working out, studying for boards, projects, etc. I am loving the evenings we get to spend together.

Workouts:
Last Thursday: HSC
Last Friday: Rest
Last Saturday: 60 minutes on treadmill plus dancing at the wedding
Last Sunday: rest again...travel day...my shins sure did hurt from dancing!
Monday: Circuit Max
Tuesday: BM2 Scrambled Eggs...crazy!
Wednesday: Push/Pull

I hope everyone is doing great. I have my first "practice board" test next Friday. Unfortunately, it isn't just practice since it counts towards my pathology grade. That is what I am studying for this week. It will cover everything we've done so far...2 years worth of information (plus 2 months worth of stuff we haven't covered yet). The 2nd practice test isn't until May and by then we will have covered everything. I think this one is supposed to scare us into studying. I am already scared. :)

Must get back to work.

-Becky

Good Morning!:)

Yesterday was such a busy day and I didn't have time to post or do anything until 11:30 PM and by then I was into getting to bed...and forgot to post. Having a deadline with all my promo activities is hard -- haven't done that before -- lots to do.

Anyway, it was Power Hour yesterday and BM1 cardio section and a stretch today. Love both those workouts. Today was almost like a rest day with some cardio.

Jeanette -- that's great that you had some DOM's going on -- reminds me to keep switching my workouts around. Low weight, high reps is probably my favorite kind of strength workout -- I guess cause it does exhaust me.x( Have fun with your spin session with the guys tonight. Really does sound like fun.

Don't know what is in these things they are spraying overhead. Whatever it is, I'm highly allergic to it. Am going to have to do some research on it to try to find out about this since it does seem to affect me and my DH, too. The planes are high and make no noise whatsoever --at least that's how it seems here at ground level.

Becky -- Your workouts look intense. Push/pull is one of my favorites -- and Circuit Max followed by BM2 -- wow! That's intense. St. Pete -- that's where I usually go whenever I come to Florida -- thereabouts, anyway. It's such a pretty place. Those practice boards sound scary -- don't know why they'd need to scare you into studying, just the thought of them makes me want to crack a book, as well. Bet you do well, though. All the hard work you're doing will pay off

An so cool that you got to spend extra time with your DH. Always a pleasure, isn't it?

Rhea -- know you're busy like mad with your court dates. But we're always happy to hear from you, when you can.

Well, it's an intense day I have planned. Am targetting 20 pages today to make up for the past two days, where I've been concentrating more on promo than on writing.

Have a wonderful day, everyone and some super workouts!:7

Morning,

Everyone posted early yesterday. Had my last bike spin session last night. We did "Enter The Red Zone" and they fellas thought it was a good interval workout. Next week everyone will be riding bikes outside in the evening due to the time change and milder temps. We will do a hill climb ride on Thursday. Also did Ab Ripper X last night. Finished watching The Illusionist in the evening. I enjoyed it.

Today was Yoga Shakti matrix by Shiva Rea. Good yoga routine for me. I like the way she moves pretty quickly for the vinyasas. Love her voice.

Hang it there, Rhea, know it's busy, busy for you.

Becky, good workouts for you and good luck on your studying. Bet you do just fine.

Karen, glad you enjoyed your workouts. Last time I did Slim Series, my body really responded well to it. I'm going to do the lower body workout tomorrow "Firm It Up". I remember it being a tough one. Can you call the airports or someplace and find out what is in the exhaust of the planes going overhead? How about your local Air Quality Control Board? They should know what's going into the air, shouldn't they?

Got to go now. I've been really busy at my new job, but it's a good busy.

Jeanette

AHHH:eek: Trial today, my stomach is a mess. I'm so bad at this stress type of job. But once I get into the trial, it should be just fine. The minutes/hours before, waiting to start is the worst part for me.

BTW, Jeanette, the alleged victim in this bar room fight is a CO at High Desert. (and I'm saying this in a very sarcastic voice):p

Have a great day everyone!

Good Afternoon!:)

I have company coming over tonight and so I'm posting early again. Am taking the day off today -- not because I want to, but because I'm so far behind on everything, it seems. My promo is behind, as is my writing -- I'm just not good at doing two or three things at once -- and so I'm behind and have just decided to work and complete a few things so as to get my attention back to where it needs to be -- on writing.

Whew!

Jeanette -- starting your outside biking again -- I know it will be a lot of fun. I was reading something on the internet the other day about some people doing rides through Montana, so I though I'd tell that to you. I love Montana and we usually go there once a year -- it'd be a great place to ride... I know the yoga must've been good.

The trails overhead -- Not sure I should go into this on these forums, but briefly I've done some research -- airports, etc., pretty much deny anything is going on, that all I'm seeing are contrails (condensation trails) and yet anyone with eyes can see that these are not condensation trails -- since they last all day long and spread out to become an ugly white haze that eventually covers everything on the ground. The planes also make patterns in the sky -- grids sort of -- up and down and crisscrossing -- not the normal way that planes fly. Apparently it's been found that these trails contain particles of metallic salts -- those of aluminium, barium, titanium and magnesium. Barium is highly toxic -- on the order of arsenic, apparently. Not great news, but all this might explain why the body keeps trying to hang onto water. Here's a link if you'd like to do your own research. http://video.google.com/videoplay?docid=-2815320198655156407&q=Chemtrails&hl=en

We are and have invested in some heavy-duty air filters in the house and just yesterday we bought some personal air filters that you wear around your neck for all of us. In the meantime, we'll continue to take the amino acid mix that helps to eliminate these from the body. Whew!

Rhea -- your job does sound really stressful -- what's a CO, by the way? Hope that you're able to take out some of that stress with your workouts, although I know you're really busy.

Becky -- am sure you're really studying like mad -- go to it, Becky. We're always happy to hear from you when you can.

Well, I'd best get back to work. I'm supposed to be on a short break. Have a wonderful day and super workouts!:7
