KK's June rotation

Good morning Karen, Rhea and Natalie:

It was Legs & Glutes (floor work/ankle weights) and Cardio & Weights step only. Good workout, though I had to stop during the cardio to have a 1/2 protein bar as I started to get light headed, then was fine.

Natalie, good to hear from you. You seem pretty busy. Summer can be that way. Bet the gardens were very nice. ME is a great workout, but boy the biceps are a killer!

Have the horseshoer coming after work today and then I need to grocery shop and pack the trailer for camping departure tomorrow morning. I'll get up early tomorrow and do a workout though.

Karen, Natalie's idea for the laptop with DVD driver is a good one, but then again, sometimes it's nice to have a break from the normal routine.

Must sign off now and get to work.

Jeanette

Good day all!

Just a quick check in, too busy at work to come play anywhere.

I managed to squeeze in Step Blast yesterday. After the day I had (even the zipper on my pants broke), I needed a good sweat to destress. I've eaten very bad, verrrryyy bad at lunch today, so before Bunco at my house, I'm going to have to try to squeeze in a workout. Necessary to even out those calories burned with the calories eaten. I'm sure the fast food lunch I had was a entire days worth of calories. (first, DH did the ordering before I got there, second, I actually ate it all and third, sitting like a lump in my stomach)Geezsh.

Have a great weekend everyone if y'all are already off tomorrow. TGIF!

Hi everyone,

The week is finally winding down. My partner is out of town until Wednesday so work has been crazy but at least we are closed on Friday.

Did ME this evening. Great workout! Haven't done it in months! Interesting thing, though. I did it 1-2 times per week for a period of 2-3 months right after I got it last year and I was never really able to up the weights or felt like I was really progressing but after using the Gym Style DVD's and I think doing the one body part a day rotations, I was able use more weight and had better endurance through the whole workout than ever before. Maybe I need to do more of these heavy weights and one body part type rotations.

Speaking on badness, I am drinking a glass of red wine as I write. But, I guess relatively empty calories but undeniably good for cardiovascular health.

Anyway, I hope to stay back on track but will probably do the Cather July workout as it is definately geared a busy summer month.

Hope everyone's 4th is great!

Natalie

Hi Jeanette & Natalie & Rhea!

:D

I'm really late logging on today. Really was pushing to get as much done as I could on the bulk mailing -- and have it almost all done -- a little more to go, but not much. But look at the time...

Natalie -- your suggestion about the laptop and DVD player is a really good one. Also, it's interesting what you said about ME -- I think I'm going to have to get the gym-style workouts, as well as Legs & Glutes -- ME is one of my favorites -- so this is really an interesting view.

Sounds like the scouts are lucky to have you. It's great that you're doing that.

Did the sprint workout today -- managed to do 15 - 30 second sprints, which is quite something for me. Tomorrow is supposed to be Power Hour or something similar -- we'll see -- cause it's awfully late -- and I'll need some sleep.

Jeanette -- have a really fun time. It sounds like such fun, getting everything ready for a trip and the 4th. I'll be here working and working and working -- but it's a good thing. I need to get this stuff done fast.

Rhea -- gee, I really understand on this eating thing -- just don't beat yourself up about it -- we all go off our diets -- I did last night -- what a good idea to throw in that workout, though. I'll have to remember that.

Have a really wonderful, exciting and memorable 4th! :7
