KICKBOXING DVD Suggestions

I love, love, love Les Mills Combat from BeachBody. If you love kickboxing you must try this one. Most of the workouts in this set is kickboxing manner except for the core and plyo ones and these are the mixed martial arts based program. It has 7 workouts from 30, 45 and 60 mins and now it's only $36 on teambeachbody.com, much lesser then I preordered.

I have been tempted by Les Mills Combat. I love tough woman workouts, love the way Ilaria's DVDs look etc. But does LM Combat have a sort of weird violent adolescent male Grand Theft Auto-type side to it? I could be 100% mistaken and I honestly am not sure why I have that impression.
Love boxing, love getting my aggression out, but don't enjoy watching sports where competitors ruthlessly beat each other even once they're down, and probably wouldn't enjoy a workout that's in the spirit of those sports (or entertainment events -- whatever they are).

Oh also -- I see Ilaria has an On Demand service at powerstrike.com. But it's $30/month for like 16 videos. That's way too much, IMO. I could see myself trying it for one month and just doing an Ilaria rotation, but no way would I pay that long-term.

Ha ha ha WEIRD VIOLENT ADOLESCENT MALE GRAND THEFT AUTO-TYPE.... No MomlnVT that's not right but I've heard that before from my daughter [emoji1][emoji1][emoji1].
You know when they say don't judge a book by its cover, you gotta try these to find out. Actually these are most fun and ADVANCE kickboxing workouts and both main trainers DAN and RACH are really fun and TOUGH personalities, the music is up beat and choreography is really interesting. I have Chalean's TURBOFIR but honestly that set has lot of dread factor for me because all the workouts are similar to each other, but If you like tough women workouts you will love LES MILLS COMBAT
(I guess)[emoji6].

Thanks, Rafiayunus! That's good to know. Maybe I got it confused with a program I saw on sale a few weeks ago that I think was some UFC guy, very unappealingly male-oriented.
I will have to try Les Mills Combat when I get around to it! I almost sprang for it on the BB Black Friday sale...

Check out these arms: http://www.thepostgame.com/blog/tra...n-sam-stosur-tennis-arms-muscles-training-cut

She states she doesn't do bicep curls or even that much bench press but she does box.

Her quote:
"Push press, dumbbell fly, seated row, exercises like rotations and raises for the rotator cuff and for the little muscles inside your shoulders," she said. "I also do boxing sessions and swimming. I'm not a great swimmer, but I'm getting better. I can swim laps and it's a good workout for me. I only take one day off a week. I do at least one session a day, sometimes two if I'm not practicing on the court."

Wow, impressive! If boxing could rip you like this, I need to do more of it. I love kickboxing workouts.

Denise

I can't remember, has anyone mentioned Patrick Goudeau/Heather Corndorf "Kickbox Burn?" That's a really fun, effective KB workout.
