kelly ripas ryka shoes

I have always liked Ryka and still do although I am an Under Armour convert now. I suspect these shows would be of the same excellent quality whether or not Kelly Ripa, Liberace, or Captain Kangeroo endorsed them. ;)
 
Sorry to be OT...but is there anything that Kelly Ripa ISN'T endorsing lately?? That chick is everywhere!
 
I agree Tneah with the "a little bit anexoric" look she has taken on lately. She has always looked so healthy in the past. What has happened? In reading about her in one of the mags that I subscribe to (Self, Oxygen, Fitness - don't remember which one), she seems to work out lots and not with heavy weights, but loads of cardio with some toning exercises.

Thought she was such a cutie but now think she is looking too thin.
 
I agree but scrawny was the word I was thinking of. Sorry if that sounds mean but it's the truth. She's a beautiful woman but man oh man could she stand to gain a few pounds! :eek:
 
I haven't tried them but I was thinking about ordering them. They are cute shoes and I've always liked Rykas. I have too many pairs of Enlight IIs hoarded in my closet right now though so I really can't justify another pair:)

I thought that Kelly Ripa was the new spokeswoman for Ryka, the company, not a particular pair of shoes.... What did I miss?
 
Just got the Ryka promotional mailing with Kelly Ripa on it. I need a new favorite workout shoe, so I may try them. (Ryka discontinued the n-gage instructor shoe, darn it!)
 
Does anyone remember the episode of Ab Fab where Edy dreamed she was having liposuction and they forgot to turn off the machine? She wound up as just a deflated balloon with a head? Whenever I see Kelly Ripa I am reminded of that. :eek:

LMAO!! If someone could stuff some food in her mouth she'd look a little healthier....and her mouth would be busy chewing instead of blathering.

Now for Oprah...if I could get her some duct tape she'd be on a diet and we wouldn't have to listen to her prattle either :p
 
I just bought Rykas about 2 months ago- the N-Gage Studio Mid and I really like it. I know they discontinued quite a few of their styles but I really like this one- great lateral support for all of that darn hopping Cathe does. :)
 
I thought about ordering the Kelli Ripa shoes also but opted for another style. Would like to know if anyone does try them & what they think.

As I once heard someone say "Someone give that girl a donut !" :D
 
I don't understand why it's necessary to bash someone about her/his weight, whether that is someone who is very thin or someone who is obese. Simply stating that Kelly's body type isn't one you would like to have is much nicer. Just my opinion....

Fair enough. I grew up super skinny and the comments hurt. I think it really comes down to backlash against the media machine that put immense pressure on women to be unrealistically thin.
