Hi Everyone! I will post an update next week (Friday) after meeting with my doctor for my 8 week post-op check up. Until then, just wanted to say things are really feeling great. My therapist had me doing more advanced exercises these past two weeks and I did very well. I'll have more to share next week :)

Great to hear. Can't wait for the update. I would like to thank you very much for the inspiration that you and this website has provided me. I have been doing your tapes for only 3 weeks now and can really start to see a difference. I have also just ordered 4 more tapes and and on the list for the preordered videos that will come later. (The full beginners rotation is suppose to arrive today, HURRAY!!!) I have been alternating the basic step with other videos I have until I receive the full rotation. Again, thank you and can't wait to hear about your update. Take it easy.

Yippie! That's great news, Cathe. So happy to hear that your therapist is having you do much more advanced exercises. This is absolutely outstanding news! Hurray!!! :) :) :) :)
Lorrayne

Hi Lorrayne. Yes, yesterday in therapy I was standing with one leg, my operated leg, on a dyna disc (they are very wobbly) and had to catch a ball that my therapist threw at me from all angles without falling. He threw them high, low, wide right, wide left, and even a few tricky curve balls. I held my own pretty well and only touched down my other leg for balance three times.....WAHOO :7

Thanks so much for the update Cathe! More importantly, I'm glad your on your way back to your ol' self again.

Wow, Cathe, that's amazing!!! If that Dyna disc is similar to my Fitter First disc I'm really impressed! I have a tough time balancing on that sucker with two feet! Good for you! Will the boys help you continue this advanced therapy at home? I bet they would love to throw a ball to you. :)

Cathe -

PLEASE don't include this new move in any new workouts ;-). I think I would have a hard time with this one and both my knees are fine. :)

Sue

That sounds awesome, Cathe. I'm so happy for you with your recovery - and not just because I can't wait for your new workouts! }(

But I know it's gotta feel great for you to be able to fix your injury. Injuries can be so darn frustrating!

GREAT NEWS!!!! Is this disc similar to a BOSU? If so, maybe you could add a premix of some moves to do on our BOSU or similar object on one of your new workouts? I have a BOSU and never use it but I would with YOU! :7 Keep up the great work with your rehab. We'll just wait for you here!

Cathe that is such great news! I'm so happy for you and can't wait to hear how impressed your doc is with your progress. The activity that your PT had you doing sounds pretty tricky. I'm not sure how many of us could have done as well and we aren't recovering from surgery;-)

Cathe, glad to hear the good news.

Way to go on the dyna disc! And on one leg!!

Hmm, dyna disk meets dyna band or "it's time to get the disk".

Yikes!! Sculpting drills on the dyna disk?

Whatever it is Cathe I'm in!
