For me it's not just $200. In order to do the program as intended I would need....

more risers

pull up bar

Heavier wts

Plate mates

etc....

I just can't justify the cost when I see people having fantastic results doing BFL and all I'd need for that are dumbells.

But I'm looking forward to hearing how everyone who ordered likes it! :)

i am holding out on this until i see some more like reviews and clips. its a mighty big purchase for our wallets and with other things to save up for, this just doesn't fit in right now. although once the program is out and i get a better idea i might work something out. the blog pics are great and its tempting but with lack of cash/credit i am trying to keep it straight LOL.

I'm "on the fence." In the beginning, I thought I just wouldn't be ordering... Now, the more we hear, the more I'm thinking I *need* it. I imagine I will become one who will order when the price increase is announced!

I was very dubious about STS when it was first announced, and not at all sure I wanted to participate in it.

But in the last few months, I have really intensified my weight training, and the more I do, the more interested in it I become.

So, yes, I ordered on the first day of the pre-sale.

I recently toured a few gyms in the area and realized that I would rather spend the $200 on STS and buy a second hand barbell with more extensive plate load than spend $40 per month for a gym membership, in order to have access to the same more extensive weight loads, and at the end of the gym year, I would have spent more and would have a fitter body but I would not have anything material in my hands or any future investment. With STS and a second, cheap barbell, I get an investment that will build my fitness over the next year, and the years beyond that.

You bet I ordered! I want to see exactly how far I can go, exactly what I am made of, exactly how strong I can become. STS can help me do this.

I'm still on the fence... just not sure if I could commit to a rotation to make this series work for me. Plus overwhelmed by the number of DVDs as well as the price. The blog photos do get me excited though!

I ordered but by check so it probably was a bit later that they got my order than the rest.

I am glad to say that I will be able to use the equipment I have, olympic bb, plates, my db which are the power sets from 4 to 45 pounds and 3 to 21 pounds so I am expecting I will be ready for this. Also have a weight bench so I don't need extra risers or incline riser.

This set looks fab and looking at the blog is making me more happy but hopefully we will be hearing about when they will start filming. I am really not expecting the workouts til Summer/Fall but just to hear progress is nice.

I was impressed with the intelligence of this program, very impressed. I like structure within my workouts, like to know I am working towards a goal within that structure, so STS is going to work really well for me.

I voted for "waiting until increase of price is announced". I want this series, but I want it digitally!!!!!! I got a silly iPod for xmas in anticipation of the downloads from Cathe. I know I can cancel my pre-order so I'll just wait until they annouce the increase and then I'll order.

I haven't ordered. Not sure if I will. I am afraid not only of the cost itself for the DVDs, but of the extra equipment and weights needed possibly, based on the pictures...so I am still on the fence...

I definitely plan on pre-ordering, but I'm just waiting for the first price increase announcement. I don't need to be one of the first to receive this set, since it's doubtful I'll drop whatever rotation I'm in the middle of at the time to switch to this one. (I like to begin new rotations at the beginning of the month). So, I can safely wait the extra few weeks and preorder at the last minute.

I'm waiting, too. While I could probably swing the $200 for the DVD's , I can't afford all the new equipment I'll need to buy.

I voted that I bought it.........but I cancelled.....the NROLW and all.........under 20 bucks.........200 for 12 workouts is too high (the rest are premixes) - when p90x+ was 50..........I LOVE the looks of it....but after I thought about it, its too much money........theres plenty out there not as expensive...........

Just want to correct a few things you said about STS. First, there are no premixes in STS, except for the STS special premix for squats. This means you will be getting closer to 30 DVDs worth of original footage, not 12. As for price, STS costs less than $5.38 a DVD. This is by far the lowest price we have ever charged for a Cathe DVD, yet this will be our most expensive and highest quality production ever.
