Jogglers October!!!

Hi Everyone,

I went on a 35 minute run after work today. I was feeling sluggish but I got it done.

Hope everyone has a great night!

I've been in hiding! LOL! Not really. This thing in my back has worked it's way up to the right side of my neck and upper back/shoulder, so I think it's on it's way out. It's just uncomfortable to spend too much time on the computer!

I have been a very bad girl! I haven't done ANYTHING since last Friday other than a little bit of golf! That's horrible because my race is now only 2 weeks away! I don't know what's wrong with me (other than holidays throw my morning schedule off)! I have got to get back to it! Even if all I do is run everyday! I need that more than anything for these last couple of weeks and I'm being a lazy ass! Yes, I said it LAZY ASS!!!!!

Sheesh!

Can you tell I'm really fed up with myself? I need an arsonist under my butt!

I'm glad all of you are working out so well! I'm ashamed!

An arsonist under your but!?!? That would be a funny site! LOL - edited to say I see that I made my own pun without realizing it. I meant SIGHT, not site! LOL AGAIN!

How about we just yell at you - GO WORKOUT TRICIA!!!

Upper Body Split last night (FIRM workout). Rest today - Honor has an orchestra concert.

Hi Jane, Lisa, Alisha!

Tricia- I think it would be ok if you just ran 4-5 times a week. Forget about the other stuff for now.

Cindi- I like the arsonist under your butt idea.

I did some yoga this morning. I have Atheletic step on tap for tonight. I hope to have my heart rate monitor put back together this afternoon. Tomorrow will be a joggle. Its sunny and warm out here, you would think it was summer but the sun isn't coming up until after 7 am. It was so dark this morning!

Catch ya later!

Alisha

Hi ladies,
I didn't work out yesterday. In fact, I just did a little beach doggle and that was it. This morning I rode. I'm not as young as I used to be, my hip flexors are stiff and I'm walking like a duck. Theoretically I'm going to drive home tomorrow. I was going to drive home today but that didn't happen.

Tricia - Don't worry about that! I think we're about even on workouts actually. We need you to keep posting though or we don't have much of a thread.

Alisha - Enjoy yoga (I need to do a lot of that when I got home!) and athletic step.

Hi Cindi and Jane.
Lisa

Hi Ladies!

Cindi - That was hysterical! Site! Bwaa, haaa, haaa! Enjoy the concert! I'm sure it'll be great!

Alisha - That sounds good! As long as it's not pouring down in the a.m., I'll run tomorrow. If it's torrential, I'll do either a kickbox or I can be brave and try out Sean T's Insanity - Fast and Furious workout! It's 20 minutes of pass out high intensity cardio! I've been dying to try it out!

Lisa - You're still way younger than I am! Stretch those hips out! You know I'll still be here!

Hi Jane! I hope all is well with you!

Tomorrow, our receptionist is getting married! Bosses are letting us girls (we're all invited) out of work at 2! Woo-Hoo! My back up plan - should I fail in my task to get up tomorrow at 5 - is to workout right when I get home. I have to shower anyway so I can put my hair in a braid. It'll look like crap otherwise!

I will not let you (me) down! One way or another, I'm getting a workout in tomorrow and running on Saturday and Sunday! I'll bypass the weightlifting for now and concentrate on getting myself back in condition for my 10K in 2 weeks. I can do it! Really!

I need Cathe, Jackie Warner, and all those great looking fit people's bodies on posters all over the house! That'll get my arse up and moving! Motivation, baby!

ETA: Oops! Almost forgot! Did you see that next year's road trip is going to be at Disney? What??? I ranted a little. 2 trips to Florida, one to CA and one to TX - where are the trips up north? Northeast? What about the heartland? Pacific northwest? I was a bit miffed about that. I would like to go at least once, but this is in July which means no NJ RT probably and because it's right smack in the middle of the year, it'll most likely be the only one for next year. I made some comment about being 60 before an RT comes anywhere I can make it. I hope I don't get kicked for that! I was just expressing my disappointment.

Hi Everyone,

I'm kinda in a rush tonight. This is what I did today.

5 Rounds
20 Suitcase Deadlifts
20 Push Press
20 Weighted Sit ups
100 Jump Ropes

I'll be back tomorrow for personals.

Good Morning Everyone!

I wasn't feeling great so I did CW Step Premix. This morning is a joggle. Its still quite toasty around here.

Tricia- Did you try Sean T's Insanity?

Lisa- I hope your hip flexors feel better. Epsom salt bath?

Jane- Hi!

Cindi- How is it going?

HI ladies!

Tricia - I have the same thoughts as you about the road trip. When are they coming to Chicago???!!!! When I saw the Disney announcement, I thought - no Chicago. :( I can't really afford the time or expense to go outside the midwest.

Concert was great last night and I even had time to drop in at my friends CABi party (clothes) and bought a few items. Good night.

Doing some weights tonight. Tomorrow Honor has cello and then tennis so I'll do cardio then. I usually knit during her cello lessons - she has 4 hours of lessons every saturday morning. Individual, cello group, then string ensemble.

The boys are going to a table tennis tournament on Sunday so I will enjoy some quiet time. I think I'm going to organize the shoes - I don't like our current shoe situation. 5 people - multiple pairs, makes a big pile by the front door!

Enjoy your weekend everyone!

Hi Everyone!

I'm not sure what I'm doing today workout-wise but I'll do something. Maybe a circuit.

Tricia/Cindi ~ Sorry about the Disney Trip. I thought for sure that they would do something up North for you guys.

Tricia ~ Hope you got your butt in gear and did a workout. You'll have plenty of time for your race. You'll do great. You know sometimes you lose focus and have to shuffle things around to get out there again.

Alisha ~ Hope you have a good joggle today. We are still in the mid 80's here but the lows are in the 50's. People wore jackets to work today. Hmm...hello...it's suppose to be 85 today. I guess I'm still a northerner at heart.

Lisa ~ My hip flexors bother me from time to time too.

Cindi ~ Enjoy your weekend. It sounds like you have lots planned.

My friend in rehab is doing fantastic. She did all of her leg lifts yesterday - 30 on each leg so she no longer has to wear the leg braces although she is still using a walker. Today she walked on an incline and walked up a step (like a street curb). She has asked for more therapy because she wants to get out of there so bad.

I'm going to do some Yoga Today with Sarah Kline this morning. This afternoon I plan on the original Imax. I haven't done that in forever. I plan to spend the day on the computer editing video (we are now in the graphics phase.) I also anticipate watering the garden, its been toasty.

Jane- I'm a wuss, if its in the 80s I have a sweater to keep warm from the air conditioning:eek: Yesterday's joggle was great, I saw a deer which means my garden is now in mortal danger.

Cindi- Oooh, you knit? Thats cool, I bought a pair of needles and my Aunt Peggy gave me some yarn but I haven't started yet.

The pile of shoes next to the front door are mine. ooops sorry.:p

Hi everybody!!!!

Alisha - Hope you had a good joggle yesterday! Have fun today!

Cindi - Yeah, the RTs are getting really disappointing. Not everyone lives down south! No offense to Lisa and Jane! :p

You are so busy! It's great that your kids have such terrific creative outlets and are so focused!

Jane - I'm still trying to decide what I want to do today, too! DH is in Boston at a review session for a midterm on Tuesday. I'm so glad your friend is doing so well! That's terrific! Hope your mom is also!

Lisa - Hope you had a good ride home from Hatteras!

Yes, ladies, I did do Insanity Fast and Furious! Whew! That was awesome and very challenging! I forgot to put my HRM on at first and put it on during a water break. It was only one for about 18 minutes or so and registered 125 calories, but I'm sure it was more. That was just a taste of what I'm in for in 2 weeks. I'm really excited!

I'm thinking a kickbox workout. Just have to get up and do it. The pups and kitty are snuggling with me though and it's always hard to move when they're so cuddly!

Have a terrific afternoon everyone!

Hey ladies, get this.... I worked out today!!! Imagine that . I did BBL Sculpt plus Bum Bum Rapido plus High and Tight (standing bandwork only). I may even run this afternoon. Who knows??

Tricia - I had a safe, but long drive home last night. It wears me out. I went around a slightly longer way to, get this, look at a dog. Shocking, right?

Hi everyone!!

Lisa

Hi Lisa! Yay! You did it, too! Looks like our workout schedules are attached at the hip! LOL!

I hope the detour was worth it!

Hi Everyone!

YAY for Tricia and Lisa for getting a workout in!!

I've had a busy, busy day.

I started out with my workout which was a circuit of 45 seconds work/25 seconds rest of the following:
Squat Thrust/Sandbag jump overs
Sit up and Press
Kettlebell Thrusters - right
Kettlebell Thrusters - left
Alternating swings
Alternating lunges with med ball wood choppers

I did 3 rounds

Then left to go to the rehab hospital to take lunch to my friend. The food there is yucky! She is being released on Tuesday. She is SO excited.

I'm sleeping over at mom's house tonight because she's been a little dizzy and we need to watch her so she doesn't fall.

Tomorrow is another 12 mile run. Yikes! The 1/2 marathon is less than a month away.

Alisha ~ Hope you had fun with yoga and IMAX. Thanks for reminding me about your shoes at the door! I almost tripped over them. :p:p

Hi Cindi!

Wow, Jane! If you're already doing 12 miles, you are more than ready for that 1/2! Woo-Hoo!

I'm so happy for your friend! She must just be chomping at the bit to get out of there! I would too!

I hope your mom is feeling better tomorrow! That's kind of scary!

Hey Jogglers,

I only (only ?) managed a 9 mile joggle today. I was up part of the night with mom because she was having back spasms. She was afraid to take pain pills because she had already taken Tylenol. She finally took them around 3:30 so I got a little bit of sleep. Mom is doing better today.

I wanted to do 12 miles but I'm glad I got 9 in. The weather is beautiful but a little too warm for me as I slept in and went out at noon.

Hope everyone is having a great Sunday.

Sunday

Jane- I put my shoes away this morning so you're safe.:p I'm glad your friend is getting out soon. You will do fine at the half marathon, 12 is only about a mile away from the finish line. (26.2/2= 13.1 right?)

Tricia- Sounds like a really tough workout.

Cindi- Hi! How did Honor's concert go? (I hope I got that right. . . )

Lisa- Good job on your workout.

I'm taking a rest day. Tomorrow will be a joggle.

Hi ladies,
I didn't workout this morning because I had to do firewood today. I stacked, split, cut and hauled. I'll workout in the morning.

Tricia - That's funny! Congrats on your workout :) The detour was definitely worth it. Check out the pics of Holden on FB. He's coming out of his shell very nicely.

Alisha - Enjoy your rest day.

Jane - Nice work on your "only" 9 miles joggle. I hope your mom is feeling better.

Hi Cindi!

Lisa

Jane - Congrats on 9 miles! Sorry your mom had such a tough night! Spasms are awful! I'm glad she was finally able to get some sleep and feels better today!

Alisha - Rest is good for Sunday! Have a good joggle tomorrow!

Lisa - Wood chopping is quite a workout in itself! Along with all that hauling and stuff! Holden is so cute! I'm glad he's adapting quickly!

DH and I went for a run this morning. We didn't get up until about 8:30, but we did 6 miles. I finally made it up that really steep hill today! It was slow, but I did it! Yay! Of course, then I took a breathing break! Only a few seconds, then took off again! I've done 3 days in a row! Woo-Hoo! I did KPC yesterday. I'm hoping to get out and do a short run tomorrow, but it might rain. If it does, I'll do something else. I don't want to break my streak!
