Hi Jogglers!

I took a rest day yesterday. I am going to run tonight - probably 3 miles or so.

Tricia ~ I hope the weather is better today. I talked to my sister in Chicago last night and the snow was coming down. Wish I could have just 1 snow day. Unfortunately all we have down here is Tropical Storm or Hurricane day, which is not as fun as snow days. :( No snow angels or snowball fights.

Lisa ~ How are you? Hope all is going well.

Aisha ~ How is the weather your way?

Jane- Its sunny and should reach 58 deg.

Lisa- Had a doggle lately?

Tricia- How is the weather?

I anticipate going for a joggle later today. I'm working run/walk intervals on hills. I wish I could share my sunny weather with all of you!
 
What does

a joggler do on their day off?

They listen to running podcasts.
They read posts online about avoiding running injuries.
They go to all day long seminars about finance.
They cross their eyes.
They eat breakfast at Denny's, skipping the toast and the hash browns in favor of hot chocolate.
They eat lunch at McDonalds. Its healthy. You can't go wrong with salads.

Hi Everyone!

Here is was my workout for yesterday:

5 Rounds of:
10 shoulder presses
20 Jumping Pull ups
30 Sit ups (various versions)
I warmed up with some med ball tosses and swings.

Tonight I will do the upper body portion of High Reps. I have a 5K race on Saturday morning. The Nun Run 5K - A Race Like NUN Other! :)

Hi ladies,
Thanks for still thinking of me! I am busy getting settled in at work. The days are much longer and more exhausting than they were at my old job but I love the job and the opportunities and the fact that I am learning and growing. It is going to be a great experience. The dogs are adjusting and doing well even though they have much longer days and aren't getting the activity that they are used to. I am going to try to find some places to walk/run with them this weekend other than the field behind our house (which they love).

I did Bum Bum plus the band work from High and Tight on Wednesday night. Yesterday morning I did Gym Style Back and Bis. This evening I'm going to do Ellen Barrett's Slim Sculpt because I want to do two more intense workouts this weekend.

My sister-in-law had a lumpectomy today to remove two cancerous lumps from her breast. They found cancer cells in her lymph nodes. Please keep her in your thoughts. She can use all the prayers/healing energy she can have sent her way at this point.

Jane - Enjoy your race!

Alisha - I hope you enjoyed your day off. I have had more than my share of diner food and McDs in the last two weeks - that's for sure!

Hi All,

I ran a 5K this morning. I set a PR on the course. It was a cool, damp morning but luckily the rain stopped in time for the race.

Lisa ~ I'm so glad that things are going well at your new job. I'm so happy that it's working out!!

I will keep your sister-in-law in my prayers and am sending her lots of healing energy.

Hi Ladies!

Got off track again! Time is so against me these days! I run out of it before I get everything I want to do, done.

Alisha - How have your joggles been going? I haven't been on one in so long! :( I hate this winter!

Jane - Congratulations on your 5K! Did you dress the part?

Lisa - I'm so glad the job is going well! I'm sure the children will enjoy any time you can give them running/walking! I hope you can find some good places to take them! I'll certainly keep your sister-in-law in my prayers and send her healing energy every day!

We're finally warming up a bit here. Close to 40 today and staying above freezing for a few days. Rain tonight, clear tomorrow and Monday, then we're supposed to get snow again on Tuesday and maybe Thursday. Not sure how much yet. They usually can't tell until it gets really close because weather patterns shift so fast up here because of the ocean. I really hope we don't get much! We have no place for any more! I'm serious, there's a huge pile in the backyard and nowhere to throw it at this point. The driveway is a thick sheet of ice from the last storm and the piles on the curb are huge! I'm so ready for summer! To heck with spring! It doesn't warm up much more and rains a lot! I'm ready for sunshine and hot weather!

Anyway, I've been keeping up faithfully with P90X and started Phase II on Monday. 2 more weeks, then another down week and I'll be in the final stage! It goes by so much faster than STS and Insanity did! My arms are shaping up very nicely! Legs are sore after every week's leg workout. I'm loving this program! Did Kenpo X today!

Not sure what I'm doing tomorrow. It's Stretch X day, but want to get in additional cardio. Can't decide yet whether or not to do IMAX2 or another TurboFire workout. I know I'm planning to use TF for my cardio during STS, but it's so much fun!

Almost forgot! I'm finally down 2 lbs.! Woo-Hoo! Not sure if it's P90X, tracking cals or both, but I'm finally seeing the extra 5 I gained disappear!

Tricia- Good job with the two pounds!

Its warm and sunny here (for now) and I'm taking every advantage to get those joggles in. It was 60 deg. this morning, sunny and clear. I saw a great big brown bunny in my yard.

Lisa- I'm keeping my fingers crossed for your sister in law. I hope she feels much better soon.

Hi All,

I ran 10 miles this morning. It was beautiful! We've had rain and clouds for almost 3 days and it was nice to see the blue sky and sun!

Tricia ~ Congrats on the 2 pounds!! Yay!! I'm glad that P90x is really working for you. I hope you don't get anymore snow. At least you are above freezing for a couple of days.

Alisha ~ I love bunnies. Last summer we had a bunny in our yard almost every single day! We would watch us workout. Hope you had a great joggle!

Alisha - How nice and perfect for joggles! I really do wish I could be there!

Jane - Nice 10 mile run! I hope I'll be able to run 2 once all this snow melts!

It has been nice to be warmer! We got some really good melt off today, but there's still a TON of snow! We get 2 more days above freezing, but it's supposed to rain on Tuesday now. Hopefully, no snow! Wednesday, we'll be back below freezing and down to single digits at night! Brrr! Just gotta survive February! Once March comes, we usually don't see temps this low anymore! (keeping fingers crossed!) Still chances for snow, but at least it'll stay warmer and spring will be right around the corner!

I did TurboFire 45 EZ today. It wasn't all that easy, but burned a lot of calories! I actually got 300 cals out of 45 minutes and it was the first time I did this one, so I was having issues getting some of the moves which slowed me down a bit at times. I'm excited about these that I'm getting great calorie burns from them!

Had grilled pork tenderloin medallions marinated in worcestershire sauce and brown sugar with a bit of garlic. You know I have to put garlic in everything! lol I steamed some green beans and baked 2 apples in the microwave with brown sugar & nutmeg (cinnamon in mine) with a tsp of butter. Delicious! I love that I can grill indoors on my pannini machine!

I might do the step premix from Intensity today. I have only done it once and it was fun. I'm going to the dentist for my bi-annual cleaning this morning. I'm actually sitting in Panera's. I had one of those souffles. My Mom said I looked thinner this morning!

Tricia- I like green beans, that reminds me I have some at home and a couple of purple potatoes for lunch.

Jane- That sounds like a perfect run.

Hi Jogglers,

I had a rest day yesterday. It was mom's birthday. So we had lots of good food and CAKE!

Today I'm doing High Reps.

Alisha ~ Yay on the compliment!!! That's always GREAT to hear!!!

Tricia ~ What time is dinner tonight? :p Your meals always sound so wonderful! I'm keeping my fingers crossed for no more snow. We will be in the the high 50's, low 60's this week but it looks like it will be warmer next week.

My computer at work crashed yesterday so it's nice to be back online and get some work done.

Alisha - Congratulations! It's nice that your mom noticed! My mom always says I'm too skinny! lol I hope your cleaning went well. I absolutely hate the dentist!

Jane - Dinner tonight is nothing special - Szechuan Shrimp over brown rice. Thanks, though! It's nice to know someone thinks they're good! lol I'm hypercritical of my own cooking!

I did Chest, Shoulders & Triceps and Ab Ripper X last night and, boy, am I sore today! Plyometrics tonight and tomorrow is Back & Biceps w/ARX. O my gosh! This program goes by fast. I don't really know why, but I'm halfway through Phase II already! Whoosh, like warp speed!

I hope you two have a fabulous week! We just had a little rain today, now it's freakin' super windy and tomorrow we'll be back down in single digits again for 2 days! I hate those!

Well, my dinner is about ready, so I'm going to go finish up and eat!

Hi ladies,
I'm in Raleigh for training this week. Work is quite busy but very enjoyable. It's nice to be able to help people solve their problems.

I did a short doggle Saturday plus upper body from Supersets. Sunday, I got a migraine so I didn't wind up working out. Monday, I did High and Tight. I haven't worked out today and probably won't. I brought a couple of Ellen Barrett's and BBL to do in my hotel room tomorrow and Thursday if I have time.

My sister-in-law has a check up tomorrow. Hopefully she will get the results of her pathology and a treatment plan.

I have been fighting a cold for days but I think its starting to win.

Alisha - I love Panera's. Congrats on the compliment. That is always nice.

Tricia - Woo hoo! That's quite the workout. I feel like a total slacker. On the bright side, I am managing to get up to workout before work most mornings.

Jane - Your run sounds lovely!

Cindi - Hi! Where are you? Hope you are well.

I never did that Cathe workout yesterday. My knee was bothering me so I just let it rest. I plan a joggle later today followed by stretch max. Tomorrow will definitely be Athletic Step. I'm planning a jog on Friday and Intensity on Saturday. Its nice and sunny outside for now but the weather channel says rain is due next week. I'm hoping that they get it wrong;)

Hi ladies!

Was feeling pretty blah tonight. Don't know why - had a good day and was up and ready for my workout and my challenge for tonight on the Chalene Johnson 30-Day Challenge. All of a sudden, after I got home, I didn't want to do anything. I didn't work out, didn't turn on the tv. Just changed had dinner, fed the kiddos and laid down for a bit. I read a few pages, but nothing else. I think the weather is starting to get to me. idk . . . .

Lisa - Sounds like you have your hands full! Who's watching your kids while you're at training? I'll be thinking of your sister-in-law tomorrow. I hope her prognosis is good!

Alisha - Some days you just gotta rest, right? Hope the knee is better and you were able to get that joggle in!

Jane - I'm sweating just reading your workout! I'm 2 days in from doing Chest, Shoulders & Triceps and am still sore! lol Must have been a good workout even though some of my sets had less reps than the week before!

I'm making up my Back & Biceps workout tomorrow and moving Yoga X to Sunday. I guess I just needed a break.

Well, I'm going to go try to get a bit more reading in. Maybe I can get through more than 3 pages this time! lol

Intensity is

intense. There, I said it. I only did the step only premix and it still kicked my butt. sheesh. Btw I did get my joggle yesterday. I'm planning another joggle tomorrow. I had thought I would do Athletic step but I'm leaning more towards a Cardio Hit. I don't need more than one dose of plyos/week.

Lisa- I hope you are feeling better today.

Jane- That sounds like a great workout.

Tricia- I would send you some of our good weather if I could only figure out how to fedex it.
