From my good friend, Jennifer Hippensteel (Jim MacLaren's sister)
"My brother Jim passed away last night. He was my big brother, my friend, and at times my protector. I know you are healthy again and running and with Grandpa. Please know that all of us here that you left behind are so very sad, but so relieved that you... are finally home once again. Love you BRO..."

The Press Play workout was created to raise money for Jim's foundation.

I'm so sorry to hear about this. He was truly an inspiration. Does anybody know how he died? It wasn't expected, was it?

I was shocked and deeply saddened by the news. Jim was a true hero who motivated and inspired everyone to reach beyond their own perceived limitations. He will live on in the hearts of his fans and the people he inspired.

We used to have a Press Play Saturday check-in group on this forum that has since moved to FB. If anyone would like to join the group, search for Cardio Coach Press Play Saturday and request to join. We have organized a special Press Play workout in honor of Jim and everyone is welcome.

I'm so sad to hear this. But now Jim is free. As others have said, he truly is an inspiration, and maybe moreso for me, since my brother is also paralyzed. When I listened to Jim, I could see my brother too.

I'd already planned to do Press Play tonight, but it will definitely have more meaning now.

I just finished CCPP in honor of Jim. He was truly an amazing man....what earth has lost, heaven has gained. God rest his soul.
