BB in a bit!

Deb

I'm back...

Hi Again!

Where are all my early risers? Shelly? Robin?

Not too much going on around here.. just the usual Double K events!

Shelly:
So sorry to hear about Karen.. I know she is lucky and happy to have such a great sister to support her during this. Thanks for the info on Shannon...I thought for sure I was going to be getting some nasty virus or something, once I clicked "yes"! ARe you sure she was sending these to our home e-mail addresses? it seems odd. When is the GTG in NF?

Robin:
You looked so good at the pre-RT! Loved those pics! Yes.. Keegan was at my feet while I was on the computer, not I-Treading! That would have been a sigh! He would have been trying to get on the treadmill LOl! Good for you for Melting away! I am going in the opposite direction..

Tneah:
I sent you my address to your reg e-mail. I am really set on the products right now..our generous friend! That's not a boat, that's a floating house!

Leanne:
What do you do with the Lean Dessert and oatmeal? I love oatmeal but could never get a good combination with protein powder. I will try those "get ups" like you did, with a DB instead.

Kristi:
Glad you had a good time, it looks like everyone did!

Kara:
How was Tony? As goofy as ever I assume, but I always like him anyway!

Allison:
Saw some pics of the RT. you looked awesome!

Peggie:
Thanks for the recipe.. they sound yummy!

BG:
I was Lol'g at the pic..too funny! You bought all the CC's?

Leanne:
What kind of PJ's did you order? I usually use shorts and a tank for pj's..

Lainie:
What's up for today? any shopping in the schedule?

Have a great day!

Deb;)

Morning Deb and all who follow~

Deb - the NF gtg is the weekend of September 20th. Can you make it? Maybe we could all have lunch at the Cheesecake Factory at Walden Galleria! What do you think?

I had another lousy night of sleep. I'm having trouble eating too. Anything more than a few nibbles make me feel nauseated. The joys of stress.

I will be doing a 6 mile run later. Last night I did P90X legs and Ab Ripper X. Tony made me laugh.

Good morning kittens -

I did the blasts on Low Max. I am so tired. Tayler is still coughing, so was up about half the night.

I think Tony is so funny. Very quirky sense of humor. He reminds me of Jim Carey.

I ordered AOS Newport since someone said perform better was having a sale. So it was $10 cheaper than on the AOS site.

Shelley and Deb - Hope your mornings are going okay.

BBL

Hey, it's still early!

Hi,

It's still early so I get to come back here!

Shelly:
The Cheesecake Factory sounds great. That w/e is open for me as far as I know. Just let me know the details! It seems like all of us are having sleeping problems. DH told me I was tossing and turning and talking in my sleep last night, althoug he wouldn't tell me what I was saying!

Peggie:
Those blasts are Killer:mad:...yes I like Tony too...I guess you either like him or hate him!

Hi to everyone!

Deb

Morning all. I'm running late. I got up early to take my meds an hour before breakfast, cleaned and froze 8 quarts of blueberries, ate breakfast, then noticed the calander said I was meeting my friend for bagels at 8! I gotta run! I'll be back later, after errands and 4DS HIS. Have a good day all.

Oh, I'm excited to see Deb may join Shelley and me! Anyone else? Please say yes!

Wow, you early risers make me sleepier. I only got up about a half hour ago. Like Robin, I plan to do 4DS HIS today. I also need to run a couple quick errands, which I'll do right after breakfast and then I'll work out when I get back. Then I should have time to come back here and chat more and do some personals! Hope everyone has a good Tuesday--and {{{{HUGS}}}} to stressed Shelley. It's terrible stress that makes you unable to eat. I've only been that stressed at one point in my life--usually I'm just stressed enough to eat too much. Hope Tuesday brings some relief to you.

Good morning, ladies!

Yesterday was interesting. I guess that's better than boring, right! I kept trying to get on here, would start reading, and then something would come up so I never got to post!

Deb - I saw your question about the Friendship request. No, I never sent any out at all this weekend, and I wouldn't do it through email. I'm sorry... I don't know what happened. I hope you don't wind up with a nasty virus!

Shelley - I sure hope you start to feel better soon! I can't even imagine how you feel right now. A NF GTG??? Oh man, I wish I lived closer!!!!

Robin - are your blueberries wild, or do you pick them on a farm? YUM! I have 5 small bushes in my yard... I probably have a few to pick today, or maybe tomorrow.

Lanie - good to see you here so early! Have fun with those errands.

Last night I did the cardio premix on BM2, but it was weird. I couldn't quite find the energy to do a good job and I kept messing up! Oh well. Everyone has an off day now and then, right?

I had a talk with my co-worker yesterday, and I think our "little ball of hate" from Friday is cleared up. We both agreed that our communication could be better. Hopefully things will improve.

Things are still busy today, so I'm not sure how often I'll be back. But believe me, I really like the busy-ness. It makes the day fly by!

Hey all!

Ah, it would be so fantastic to be able to go to the GTG with Robin, Shelley, and Deb, but I don't think I could swing another cross-country plane ticket.

Deb -- Glad that the Double K's are behaving themselves! I cook the oatmeal as usual, and then, when it's finished, just mix it really well into about a scoop or slight less of the Lean Dessert. The moisture usually allows it to mix in pretty well. I ended up getting some cute PJ's at Macy's -- some bottoms and a T-shirt for only $12 total! Macy's is having a really, really good sale on their clearance items!

Shelley -- {{{HUGS}}}, sweetie! Glad that Tony made you laugh last night. You need all the laughs you can get, and I wish I could send more your way! How has Karen been doing mentally? Do you know when she'll start the treatment? Please be sure to keep us posted so we can send all our love, positive vibes, and prayers her way!!

Shannon -- Glad you talked to your co-worker! I was thinking of you yesterday and wondering how that went. We missed you here.

Peggie -- Oh, you'll looooove Newport! It's also really hard, but it's a lot of fun! You know, maybe I'll order Lauren's today. I ended up getting some really good deals yesterday when I was shopping (my new PJ's were only $12!), so maybe all that money I saved can be used towards the DVD. Whaddaya think? ;) Poor Tayler! I'm sorry that she's still so sick!

Robin -- Those blueberries sound wonderful! Have a great time at coffee with your friend!

Lainie -- Hope you get time to check in and chat more! We missed you over the weekend!

Allie -- Are you feeling any better today? Hope so?

Breckie -- How are you doing, sweetie? Did that soccer game go alright?

Tneah -- Where are you at, chica? You're usually here early, too!

Kara -- Be sure to check in so we know you made it safely back from driving with Colin! Did you end up getting any workout clothes for the RT?

Kristi -- Did you get caught up with laundry yesterday? I know you're still probably really busy, but it would be fun to see some photos and hear about the RT when you get a chance!

Hey guys,
I'm still an emotional wreck. I am so sick (I came down with a killer cold at the RT) and I've completely lost my voice. I've never lost my voice before and it sucks. Between being incredibly tired, being sick, depressed that the RT is over, and being in the throes of PMS, I am totally down in the dumps. I keep crying for no reason.

I just wanted to say hi. I'm at work today and really overwhelmed with all the things I need to catch up on plus I'm way behind on school work. I did manage to get in 4DS HIS/LIS cardio yesterday and want to do GS Legs today and a run but don't know when/if I'll fit it in.

Just wanted to let you all know I'm thinking of you. My pics of the RT are now in my picturetrail which I've added to my signature. Love ya!

Good Morning All!

Deb, I need to look and see if I have that itrain...hum....have you tried CC7 or CC8 yet? I seriously think you might love them. Oh, and the Turkish get ups are tough, but in the one of the workouts I have, the sand dune dude, breaks them down so they are doable. I also cannot do "deck squats", my lower back will not allow such nonsense!:p

Robin, busy already this morning? How nice you picked so many blueberries...I am impressed, those little suckers are tough to pick. Any muffins or jam happening in your kitchen?:D

Shannon, hey chica, missed you yesterday but happy you are super busy! I have days like that too with the step, I have to watch it though as I trip really easy and have visions of broken toes and twisted ankles...yeah, I am a pretty bad stepper.

Shellers, ((hugs)) I do not like that you are feeling sick to your stomach, that is extreme stress and very, very bad. What do you do for yourself to "de-stress?" A hot bath, massage, reading, listening to music? Do something relaxing today or at least try, that is bad stress and hard on your body sweetie, you cannot care for others unless you take care of yourself first. Sorry, I didn't mean to sound preachy, but have been there. Look for an email kay? Get some chammomile (sp?) tea, that helps, so does peppermint for an upset tummy.

Lainie bug, nice to see you up and at 'em this morning!:D

Leanne, hey chica,,thanks for your pissed off vibes yesterday concerning my lovely housekeepers...I was told by DH I "ruined" them by befriending them and treating them so well...so they feel like they can treat me any kind of way because they do not respect me now. Oh dear, I would make a terrible, terrible boss wouldn't I?

Peggy, yeah for new KB workouts! You will adore that one, sorry to hear that poor Tayler is still hacking up stuff.:(

OK, time to take Georgie to his regular groomer..he stinks, phew! Then back for some cardio, think I might either do Drillmax or Low Impact Circuit...

Hi again...

Tneah - thanks for the e-mail and for your concern about my tummy. My stress ALWAYS manifests itself in intestinal issues of some kind or other. I don't do anything to relax, actually. I don't know how to do that. I'm coming down there to smack around your housekeepers. You can be my boss any day!

Leanne - Karen is okay mentally, but I can tell all this is wearing on her. Poor thing. I'll keep you all posted on when treatment will start, etc. She's having a different kind of chemo this time, so nobody's sure how it will be for her.

Allie - awww, you poor thing! I'm sending lots of happy vibes your way! I hope you feel better soon.

Shannon - glad you got the little ball of hate sorted out. I hope you get your car this week!

Lainie - thanks for the hugs! Do your errands include a trip to Target? ;)

Peggie - sorry to hear about Taylor's cough. I hope it clears up soon.

Deb - oh, how exciting that you might meet up with us!

Robin - how were the bagels? Are you making bb pie?

BG - where are you and your lead-aproned self?

Kristi - are you recovered yet? All your laundry done?

UGH. Our house guest is in my gym, this is my time in the am to exercise so here I am "waiting"...is it wrong that I am bugged by this? *sighs* oh well, its just a few more days til we head back to SD right? And this guy is totally cool, I am just not used to "sharing my space" so to speak.
Hey, I might brave the already in the 90's temps and take it outside, I think I might have an outdoor itrain...I hate the heat though, another big ole ugh.

Shellers, how fun that you Deb and Robin might hook up, I only wish I lived closer...thank you for the kind words...not to sound "polly-anna" or something, but I cannot stand having others "work for you" or whatever, it feels strange....the last housekeeper we had in Salt Lake City wound up stealing from us, even though we gave her tons of furniture and I gave her handbags, shoes, and other clothes and things when we moved, it really was awful that she did that...again, probably my fault for befriending her, again, I am a good friend, but one horrid boss lady.

Oh, I just heard something quite disheartening, especially for those people who are trying to lose weight and get in shape. Now the "experts" say that in order to just MAINTAIN your figure, you need at least 55 minutes of exercise, not the 30 minutes that they used to say was the norm. In order to lose weight you have to exercise more than the 55 minutes. Now all of us here are exercise fiends so this news does not apply really.
But I think of the really overweight gal hearing this, and feeling so discouraged by it, you know what I mean? And I guess its true for me as well, because the only time I lost anything was when Mr. Trainerman had me working out for 3 hours (almost) hours a day...obviously diet is important too, but for some reason my heart really went out to all of those really overweight folks this morning.

Anyway....Tneah's morning musing here...going to go see if dude is outta my gym...love you guys...

Hey there. I really shouldn't' be here, but dang. I need to!! :D Besides, I have to endure our weekly staff meeting this afternoon, so I deserve a little bit of fun, right?

Leanne - I'm with you - I'd love to do the GTG, and Niagara is so cool. But it's also so far away....

Allie - I know it's hard advice to take, but relax. Be calm. Things will work themselves out. You poor thing, you sound so stressed! I love your Cathe pics, especially the one with you and Tracey!

Shelley - see Allie's note. :p Tneah is right about the peppermint and chamomile teas, by the way. But part of the soothing process is to be able to sit still long enough to savor the mug of tea.

Tneah - what do those "experts" know anyhow? They change their opinions so often on everything - exercise, diet, whatever... *shrug* Besides, probably the reason you had to work so hard to lose weight is because you really didn't need to lose any to start with, so Mr. Trainer really needed to employ drastic measures to shake your very fit body up a bit.

Hey, I've never used that cute smiley before. Maybe I'll use it again to reach my smiley quota. Okay. Back to work!!

Shelley: Just wanted to send you some {{HUGS}}. I haven't been able to log in for awhile now (password issues), but have been able to read the forums. You are in my thoughts and prayers.

I'm Kath btw, LOL from NY.

I see I have some catching up to do. I feel like such a newbie or is it a virgin?? ;)

Runs off dancing to Madonna :) :)

I'm back. And my tummy hurts. And I have no voice. And I can't stop sneezing. And I'm so tired I think I might die.

Later.

Hi everyone. I'm back. Coffee with my friend was nice. Poor thing, she barely got a word in edgewise. We haven't gotten together since before my trip out west, so I had lots to tell her. On a sad note, she told me one of our retired co-workers has just been diagnosed with breast cancer.:(

Shannon, we pick wild berries on a state game lands north of us. We've gone picking there for close to 30 years. It's in the middle of the woods and beautiful. I love it!

Shelley, no, I froze all the berries except a small bowlful for cereal. None of us need a pie a week before hitting the beach and we really done have time to enjoy it anyway. I wrote to Jay and promised him a pie when he gets home. I think wild blueberry is his favorite.

Tneah, I hope you got your gym back in time to do a workout. The blueberries we pick are a highbush variety, so it isn't as back breaking as picking the low growing types. It took us about 2 hours to get 8 quarts. Of course, I pick about twice as fast as DH.

Allie, I'm sorry to hear you are still down. And sick. Poor chica-pants. Take care of yourself. Hugs and chicken soup!

Leanne, you could just stay east after the RT! That would help solve the issue of living with your BIL. Maybe your DH would finally get sick of him and kick him out!

Lainie, how did you workout go? It was fun here. I haven't done 4DS in a while. I even pushed the step height up to 8 inches. AND matched Cathe in the weights. I did have to drop to my knees on the third version of pushups though. How was your weekend? Or did I miss a post somewhere?

Kristi, how're the laundry chores going? Are you caught up. What was your favorite part of the RT? You know, as much as I loved meeting Cathe and the crew, I think I enjoyed meeting the other trippers best last year.

Evily, I loved your pictures! Thanks for sharing.

Peggie, have you gotten back into your lunchtime workout routine?

BG, how's it going?

I'm all done with the chore list I made myself. Time to start thinking about an early dinner. I'm making those Lime Chicken Tacos we had a couple weeks ago. Then we head back into town for a VBS meeting. We have free tickets to a baseball game tonight, but I think I'll be too tired for that. Taa for now loved ones.

Hey ladies,

Just got down doing Amy B's Hi/Lo KO. That is such a fun workout, and I'm always proud of myself when I can get through the whole thing! I was thinking of Kara since I know how much she loves it, too!

Tneah -- That study sounds interesting. It always seemed weird to me, though, that anyone could maintain doing only 30 minutes of cardio; I have to do a lot more than that to maintain my weight, and always have! But it's so true that it makes you feel bad for the average person who doesn't have our passion for exercising! I'm so sad to hear that you've had problems in the past with that other housekeeper, too. You're just too sweet! And that totally SUCKS that that houseguest is in your gym. Since Breck Girl isn't here to put up her dukes for you, maybe I should head over there to do so! ;)

Allie -- Sending you {{{HUGS}}}! Sorry that you're so blue and feel so awful. By the way, I know I've said this before, but you are just so gorgeous!! I loved peeking at your RT photos!

Shelley -- Oh, that's awful that it's a different kind of chemo. Has she been able to research it a bit more? Is your tummy any better? Sending you as many {{{HUGS}}} as I can!

OMG! WE JUST HAD A SMALL EARTHQUAKE! OK, MY HANDS ARE SHAKING! NOTHING TOO SERIOUS -- IT WAS A QUICK ONE!

Shannon -- Glad you were able to stop by for a bit! Hope that the meeting isn't dreadful!

Robin -- Back to say "hi" since we were posting at the same time. Glad you had a nice time, but sorry about the co-worker! What is it with this awful cancer??!! How are YOU doing on those antibiotics? Are you feeling alright? Those lime tacos sounded great; I'll have to search for the recipe since I forgot to write it down.

Kristi and Breckie and Kara -- Where are you three at today? We miss you!

Just a quick post to say OH MY at Leanne's earthquake!

And to thank Leanne for reminding me to say hi to Kara.

I always miss someone! I need to make a list of everyone and stick it to the computer. Sorry Kara. Love you!

Hi guys. Sorry that I never got back. Emma's play practice is only two hours, so I spend A LOT of time in the car, going back and forth, and it takes up most of the afternoon. I got sidetracked yesterday and wasn't able to take Colin out, but we are headed out in about 20 minutes. I am still scared and thank you for the support!

We had to spend the morning at the high school for Colin's ID, schedule, and locker. He is going to have a very challenging year. Yikes. His class load is HEAVY.

Anyhoo, I am sorry that I don't have time for personals (I just typed intervals--WTH?), but have been thinking of y'all. When I am falling asleep at night I often think of the wittiest posts to write to you guys and then I wake up in the morning and...nothin'. Why does my creativity only turn on at night? I'm tellin' ya it stinks.

OK, OK, I have to change laundry before I take him out. I will try really hard to get back here later!

Have a great day!
