It's a habit!!

You were all right.......after 11 days of getting up at 4:30am to workout I've gotten my AM workouts to be a habit. My alarm goes off and WOW I'm ready to roll after a cup of coffee and a breath of fresh air. I have yet to conquer Cathe, but I think I'm ready. I've been on the treadmill or WATP just to get used to the morning moving of my body. I'm happy to report that I'm ready for Cathe in the AM. :)

Now, I just need to find a rotation that will be used. I have about 40 pounds to lose so I'm not sure what to start with. Any ideas?

Thanks - happy exercising! :+

Good for you Marcia. Some days are harder than others (at least for me) to get up that early...but I do it. Sometimes I think to myself when the alarm goes off "I can't believe in about 20 minutes ~ after my coffee ~ I'll be doing IMAX!!)

Maybe you could try Cathe's new Fat Loss rotation for this month, using only the Hardcore workouts. THere was also another weight loss roation in January, last year too.

I'd love to, but I don't have the HC series yet. :)

I have EVERYTHING else, but those so I'll have to figure out some substitutions.

Thanks. Marcia

That's so funny cause that's exactly what I thought about 5:15 this morning whilst laying awake in my nice warm bed. Only in my case it was Body Max. I had a great workout hope you did too :)

Wow, that's great! I can't imagine getting up at 4:30. I'd be dead by mid-afternoon, I think.:)

I have been thinking that once the weather warms up a bit (or should I say IF it ever warms up), I may start getting up at 5:15 to run. Because of the way my house is set up, I'm not sure I could work out that early without waking everyone else.

Great news, Marcia! I had the same experience myself when I switched to 5:30am workouts. After a few weeks, you just adjust, don't you? Cathe's January 2004 and January-February 2005 rotations are fat-loss oriented, and don't use HC (obviously). I did her Jan/04 rotation and saw some great results, in terms of both weight loss and increasing my aerobic capacity. They're tough rotations! I don't know what your fitness level is, but another really fun rotation is her all Body Blast rotation that she put out when that series was released (February 2004, I think?). It's less intense than the January rotations, and a lot of fun.

Cheers,
Sandra

Good for you Marcia! That's great!:7 :7 :7

I too would like to be a morning exerciser one day....maybe once I'm at home every day with my baby I will find it easier to create a morning routine that includes exercising...right now with having to leave for work at 7am, I just can't do it...getting up at 4:30 or 5am every morning to sweat just isn't my cup of tea....lol

Have a great work out!

God bless you all!! 4:30 or 5:15 AND working out? That literally makes my head hurt thinking about it. I am NOT a morning person at all. If I'm really lucky I can lift a coffee cup by 6:30, but that's the extent of my a.m. physical activity. I'm much more of an evening exerciser myself (or mid-day on days off and weekends). I also don't have kids, so that helps. My hat is off to you!!
I'm returning after a long hiatus, and one thing I am happy to say Cathe has started is my new "habit" - one of the first things I think of each morning is which workout I'm going to do that night, and I'm pleased to say that I am almost always coming home and actually doing it (yeah) - and most importantly, looking forward to it! Love Cathe!!

CONGRATS for making this a morning habit!!:7 I am going to TRY next week and see if I can do the same:)

Take care,
~Nicole
