Hi everyone! Vilma, we have missed you!! Glad to see you are back! Kathryn, we are staying at the Beach Club Villas, too bad, we will miss you by 3 days, it would have been good to have maybe met up with each other! I do love the pool at Beach Club, We also like going over to the Boardwalk, My DH likes ESPN, but I don't think it is for the food! Only the TV's! Lisa, you really made use of the 20%! I found a weight vest, 12 lbs, at Walmart, for 34, then I wore my big 10lb vest over that, (the Walmart one, looks like Cathe's) that way I didn't have to lift so much over my head! I haven't decided what to get with my coupon. Is anyone getting the tower? I would like it just for the bench press, it is getting harder to lift up the barbell. Andrea, I was on the fence deciding if I really liked the squat rack w/o, didn't feel to worked out yesterday, Well, today I am quite sore, I think I worked something! I'll still do the plyo legs , but probably with lighter weights! You would love Disney, they reallly go all out on all they do. How are you Murphy? When does Ronne get back? Have a good day, the dishwasher and dryer are yelling my name! Mary

Vilma, welcome back!

We've missed you! We're happy to have you back!

Mary, I hate the food at ESPN! My favorite restaurant there is Spoodles. Flying Fish is good, but too expensive (and it's double points on the Disney Dining Plan). Are you a DVC member also? We've been going since my 3rd-grade DD was 1 -- she's had almost all of her birthdays there.

I'm so sorry that we're missing you! I would have loved to meet up with you there.

FYI: If you use the fitness centers there, I found last year that while they don't officially open until 6:00 a.m., you can get in earlier with your key card. There's just nobody at the desk, so you're on your own. You probably do those early entry days, so you know that 6:00 is too late to work out if you're going to be standing at the gate by 7:30-7:45!

Well, have to pick up DS. Bye for now!

Welcome back Vilma! Hope to see a lot of posts from you now :p. Has life been treating you good? Busy I bet!

Mary, I'm feeling ready to start Meso 3. I'm not supposed to start until Monday but I'm getting antsy. will see in the morning what I decide. I barely got through CF today, ugh, I was tired. In fact I didn't get through it, I skipped drill 6 of the DM part. It just wasn't happening!

Kathryn, I could not imagine getting up that early to work out before Disney! I'm afraid I'd have to call the walking around all day at the parks my workout and then just double up on them the week I returned. Disney is exhausting especially with the early mornings and late nights. Maybe it's because we always tried to pack it all in in a couple of days each visit so as not to be away from home too long since I'd have to pair Disney with my family in FL visits. More power to you for doing it, I'm in awe!

Better sign off and get to bed, now that DH is home I'm hoping I sleep tonight!

Hi everyone.

Lisa - i agree, walking around Disneyland and going on all those heart gut wrenching rides is a workout in itself. High fives Kathryn! You are amazing!!

Vilma - How are you finding Extreme? I fell off the rotation midway through the Lean Phase. I'm now mid way through week two of the Lean for Life Phase. I'd say since I've been doing this CLX my form has improved, I have gotten stronger, and my push ups are awesome!! But I haven't really shifted any weight. In these final couple of weeks I am upping my cardio to see how that goes. See if I can shift some pounds.

Hi everyone.

If you want to find the least-crowded place in all of DisneyWorld, just head for the fitness centers! But I often run when I'm there -- around the lake between Beach Club and Boardwalk, down to the back entrance of Epcot, and down to MGM (now Hollywood Studios). It's great -- beautiful and very quiet!

On another subject: I am having such a hard time keeping my weight down! I've never eaten this well or worked out as much, and yet it keeps on creeping up on me. I know it's age and hormones, but I didn't expect it to be impossible to maintain my pre-40 weight!

Anybody else struggling with this? I broke down and ordered the GoWear Fit device in hopes of putting the brakes on and maybe even losing a bit. And it's not as if it's muscle gain, either, because I'm having to tuck it into the top of my pants every time I sit down!

Well, off to work. Have a great day, everybody!

I'm feeling lazy today.....must be the weather or that I was up early today...with a headache because of the weather. It's snowing here and they are predicting 10-20" of snow. I think I'll just do an ab routine (weights and plates) and then the leg conditioning drills from KM and call it good 'nuff! I have lots of work to get done today too and of course my sewing bowls project!

Kathryn, I didn't think legs were twice a week in Meso3. I think I decided to do each week twice with one week being the squat rack and one week being the plyo. I'll start that on Monday when I hopefully have more energy!

I also have put on a couple of pounds and I think I'm eating about the same. I can't figure out why. I thought this week I'd drop 2 lbs with water weight being as it's my rest week and it's the week after that time of month and I've done quite a bit of cardio this week. But, nope, it's not budging, I'm just trying to ignore it. It seems my measurements are the same although I "feel" a little less in my "pooch" when I'm wearing my pants, maybe it's in my head or it's wishful thinking. Not sure what STS is doing for me, I was hoping to lose those last 5 pesky pounds and I'm always starving so I eat.....hmmmm. I'm trying not to focus on it and just enjoy the DOMS and let the cards fall where they may.....

Well enough chattering onto my workout....

Kathryn, let me know how you like the GWF.....it sounds interesting but I just can't justify the cost with the fact I'm too lazy to log food and to put on an armband. Besides I know DH will just  if I tell him I'm wanting it. MEN!

I hate tracking and logging food too, but people on the forum said you only have to do it for a few (three?) days a week and it calculates the rest of the week for you. But that only works if you tend to eat about the same thing each day (which I do). But I'm desperate -- I'm going to gather up all of my discipline and make myself do this right.

After all, I've done Weight Watchers (lots of tracking and logging); I can do this!

I'll keep you posted!

Kathyrn I am struggling with extra weight too. I ate waaaaaay too much chocolate over ester and I am now officially FAT!! So, not only do I have the 10 lbs I wanted to shift all along, I now have to shift the extra chocolate bars. Its depressing! I'm upping the cardio but I've woken this morning andf I can hardly MOVE! Ouch serious serious dom pain! I can't win. GRRRRR
