Is that Cathe singing???

My husband is convinced that Cathe is singing the vocals for her videos! He says something about the character of the voice sounds like her. Now he has me thinking....I have a few of the Body Blast DVDs along with High Reps, STS Total Body, Intensity, and Lower Body Blast, and it REALLY could be her voice! Maybe the endorphin rush has just made me susceptible to his hallucinations! Or maybe Cathe has another awesome talent????

I asked Cathe once if she liked singing. And she did say yes and it's a hobby of hers. Hmmmmmmmm To me she has that quality singing voice. I looked on the crdits of High Reps and there is a "Cathe Music Production". What does that mean?

Update: I'm going to ask around.

I did Step Blast and the Ab/Plank/Stretch section from SJP last night. Everytime the female vocalist sang, my DH would say, "Sure sounds like her!"
I'm totally convinced now!
Sure is fun to speculate about it!

I went to itunes and checked out the songs from Intensity. Under "Artist" it says "Cathe Friedrich". So I am guessing that it is our beloved Cathe singing. I wonder why she didn't tell us? Personally, I love the music from Intensity.

Just to clarify what this is all about, I'm a songwriter, so I'll explain. This is what's known as a buyout in the music industry. A person (like Cathe, in this case) hires and pays not only the musicians, but also the person who wrote the song and then she (Cathe) owns the rights to it. She prob commissioned the songs in the first place, stating how many beats per minute she wanted in each song, the style of it, if she wanted it to sound like a famous song, etc. When you do a buyout, since you own all the rights to the songs, you get all the residuals from the sales on itunes, amazon, etc. By the way, this is a very common thing in the music world. It's a good money-maker for a songwriter in a situation where a song would probably never be re-recorded by another artist anyway.

hiho322 stated it exactly right. The music from our last productions were made for us by one of the top recording studios in Germany. Cathe works with the writers and singers on every song, but she doesn't sing any of them. All of the singers are German as is Cathe, so perhaps you're hearing a similar dialect.
