Hey Charlotte--
Im in New York and it has been pouring for days now. My daughter had a soccer game last night. The field was a mud pit. Of course I have the kid that is not afraid to get a little dirty. She is too much like her mom. }(
This weather has interfered with my running. Thank God for my eliptical and Legs and glutes DVD. A little sun would do all us some good.
It's been raining here since thurs. night and I have not seen the sun in over a week myself. My kids and I are going a bit nuts being in the house for the most part. Supposedly on sunday it'll be nice and sunny. I sure hope so!!
It's gorgeous in Tucson, cooler, in fact qhite chiily in th mornings and it heats up to the eighties during the day then fades into glorious moderate tempertured evenings. THIS is why we put up with the summers!

It is currently dark and gloomy but NOT RAINING!!!! The crappy weather is supposed to clear out of here COMPLETELY some point today! YEAY!!!! :7
Last night DH was complaining about this weather and mentioned how the suicide rate must have gone up a phenomenal amount since the onset of this weather! It's so true...very sad...but very true. :-(
We go 9 inches last week, sun 'till Tuesday night, then rain again 'till midmorning yesterday...Looks like little feathery clouds out there right now...Beautiful!
Same here in New York Charlotte! Unbelievable. My nephew the Wheaton Terrier is coming to stay for the weekend, and I'm afraid he's going to have some very muddy puppy paws. But he'll still have the run of the house anyway. He's too cute to resist.
Don't be mad, Charlotte, but it is GORGEOUS here today!!! Finally! It has been cloudy for over a week, so I think that we deserve it at long last! I am going to take little DS out for a walk today since it is so cool and sunny. The cows and horses should be out, so he should get a kick out of it!
It rained a little bit on Monday, I think but since then it's been nice and sunny. I just wish it was a tad cooler. (Highs are in the upper 80s here and in the morning it's about 68 degrees. 50s would be nice)
Rochester, NY here. Like you, haven't seen a ray of sunshine since last Friday and none is predicted anytime soon. This is when I get the urge to bake to warm up the house and have that wonderful aroma. What makes it even worse is that I work out in my dark basement. I've had to force myself to go down there all week. Where or where is the sun???
We're supposed to get some rain tonight, but that is the first since probably April for us here in the Bay Area. That's why we put up with the earthquakes... *grins*
But I've been hearing about your weather and my thoughts and prayers are with you out East. I hope it clears VERY soon.

Like Bobbi, I live in AZ. Phoenix though, but it is seldom cloudy let alone rainy. It makes a big difference when the sun shines all the time. I've discovered that there are too many gray days in Wisconsin in the Fall, winter and spring! Since August, I haven't experienced a full day of clouds!
Hey Fab40! I am new to the Phoenix area as well, but I am feeling for Charlotte, though, since VA was my home before the move. And I am loving the sunshine and the weather, finally after the summmer of HOT. And Charlotte, I know it is raining, but I would love to see the lovely colors of the Shennodoah mountains. I really miss that, Luray is beautiful this time of year.
It is still raining, and New Jersey is suffering extreme flooding. I can't wait for it to stop. I am in Staten Island, and many places here are flooded.
I'm here in CT where it's been raining since last Friday. We're experiencing some minor flooding. It's been really coming down since lunch time...we're swamped. I've been wearing my motorcycle rainsuit to walk the dogs. Enough already! I need the sunshine!
