Is it just me - or are people REALLY that stupid?

Tricia, glad to hear you, your DH and the swimmer weren't hurt.

I'm a claims adjuster, so I get a daily dose of people's ignorance! And I see how their stupidity, carelessness and selfishness end up hurting others...and sometimes, unfortunately, killing others.

People can be so oblivious to their surroundings.

I think its more selfishness than stupidity, although there are some incredibly dumb people out there. I believe most people just don't care about how their actions affect others...as long as they get theirs who cares about anybody else. That is the attitude I see way too freakin' much of.
