I'm so bummed...haven't received my dvd's yet

I'm so jealous of everyone! My dvd's shipped on the 22nd but won't be arriving until the 29th. How is that someone in Hawaii can get them in two days?! I only live in Minnesota! I must have selected something or not selected a different shipping option. They are being shipped via UPS. Is that the delay? Oh, the agony and pain of wanting something so bad but can't have...

Same here! Haven't got my DVD And I'm just right here in CA! Why is that? Should I contact them?

USPS and UPS

The difference is that the postal service is usually faster the further you live from New Jersey than UPS is. The postal service uses planes to ship packages going to locations that are not close to New Jersey while UPS uses trucks. This means Postal service packages can make it from New Jersey to your house in 2 to 3 days while UPS takes 7. A good rule to know is a UPS package only travels 500 miles per day and weekends and holidays don't count. The postal service is also a lot cheaper on small orders as well as faster.

Thank you for the reply, especially on Thanksgiving! Well, I'm still waiting for the dvds. Apparently there was a late train which delayed the delivery to today (crossing fingers...) Considering there was rain yesterday and measurable snow today and my dvd's left Minneapolis at 4:30 this morning, I seriously doubt I'll be getting them today, but I'll keep my hopes up. Next time, I'm selecting the good ol' United States Post Office!

I inadvertently must have selected UPS rather than postal and mine came yesterday. Haven't looked at them yet. I thought I checked USPS but looking at my order tracking it said UPS.
