Just looked at the path and am wondering what all you LA people are thinking!!! My gosh!! How can you possibly go through this AGAIN!! I really feel for you and here's to praying it goes elsewhere....which could be my way. I'm about 70 miles from the Ala/Fla line..on the Florida side.

Hi Kim - I had quit watching Ike for a while b/c they were so sure that he would follow Hanna. Knowing that it was too far out to really know for sure, I just waited a few days and checked last night. Sure enough, the track changed. And he is a big guy too.

You must live close to where we go in Florida - Seagrove Beach. We just love it there. I am a bit envious of you living so close

I've been to Seagrove....very nice. It's about a 40 min drive from me. How often do you go?

Thinking of all of you in Ike's path. Hanna really fell apart over here in SC. We didn't even get rain, just a bit of a breeze for a few hours.
I hope Ike fizzles out as well!

I hope Ike fizzles out too. I live in South Georgia about 15 miles from Florida. My sister told me that she was up all night freaking about Ike and actually pulled out some cash from the bank just in cash.

I live in mobile, al...which is about 40 miles from the florida state line! I am a bit nervous...but I am ready to get it over with. We lucked out with Gustav and just had light rain. I guess it is our turn now.
