<---has only gotten about 3 inches so far, but the roads were a slippery, slimey mess
<---can't wait to drive home this afternoon after it snows all day

<---wants to be sure to wish Mr and Mrs Melissa a Happy Anniversary
<---assures Carrie that <--often fakes it and sometimes makes it

<---has somewhere between 10-12" already on top of the already 20" and ANOTHER system on Monday! Will the madness ever stop???
<---says it is supposed to keep snowing all day and possibly into tomorrow morning
<---does not blame Robin for not wanting to drive in this mess
<---had a really scary drive home yesterday when an accident forced her to take a back road through the apple orchards to get home
<---says it was totally snow covered and her little Echo could barely make it up the hills
<---ended up home safe but shaking and in tears - hates driving in this crap!
<---will not be going ANYWHERE the next two days but then has to drive down to MD (which is even worse) for that wedding on Friday
<---hopes the roads are good by then :/
<---will keep Robin in her thoughts this afternoon and says like her mother "post when you get home"
<---hopes all the other OAL'ers in the path of this storm stay safe too!

<-- got a little dusting of snow last night and expecting another half inch or so through the day today
<-- is glad we're not getting much snow this season in Toronto because we got hammered the past two winters
<-- tells Robin that we are sort of schizophrenic here in the great white north ...
<-- says we measure snow in cm because that's what all the media do, but <-- still thinks of most things in feet & inches (height, body measurements and whatever Robin was thinking of :) )
<-- also measures body weight in pounds, but everything you buy by weight in the stores is in gm or kg
<-- buys gas & milk by the litre (can't think in gallons for those) but uses imperial measurements (tablespoons, cups, etc.) for cooking and baking
<-- switched over from imperial to metric in the 70s but only people who were born after that seem to have really made the switch
<-- says enough of that
<-- went to a really tough spinning class this morning
<-- is enjoying <--'s coffee
<-- is glad Liann got home safely -- that sounds like a horrible drive! :(

<----woke up to find that our "dusting to 1 inch" was already at 3" and still falling!
<----WTF??? Can't believe that Richmond and surrounding Virginia areas would have been a better place for the Winter Olympics than Vancouver.
<----thinks that <----will suggest to the State that we export our snow to our friends up north!
<----is at work and trying very hard to ignore the left over Krispy Kremes in the kitchen.
<----had no problem saying "no thanks" yesterday, but falling snow makes <----believe that the laws of physics and the cosmic order are obliterated when snow is falling so hard that you can't see the houses across the street.
<----must go and work on deadline, but wishes <----was at home watching Fargo and eating soup!
