I saw bagged spinach in my store today!!!

I was so excited, but ended up not buying it (YET) because I haven't heard a word about it coming back into stores.
Does anybody know what the latest news is ?
Are we really safe to eat it again???

I've MISSED it in my salads (and practically everything else)and I want to buy it ASAP!!!!

Go buy it! Many stores have had it back on the shelf for a couple of weeks......Unfortunately my stores are still hoarding it

Yea Becky, I agree with Traci. Buy, eat, enjoy!! My store didn't have it as of yesterday but I have seen it in a restaurant or two. I fully intend to buy it as soon as my store puts it out.

I heard on the news that it was wild bores running the fiels and doing the deed that had the ecoli.
I think they have solved the problem.

Ok, ladies, maybe I'm irrational but isn't anyone just a wee bit worried? I read the article in which the pooping boars were blamed (seriously - how is that for a dirty job??) and it seems that it was contained to one particular farm BUT with irrigation systems and downstream flow of water.... how could that be? Anyway, I'm feeling paranoid. I can't possibly be alone!

Oh, and hating iceberg lettuce salads, blech.

I live approx half an hour away from all those fields. Have seen many a wild boar as we bike through the back country.

Yes, I can honestly believe that is very possible being so close.

We have loads and loads of open space with only agriculture as the primary business. In fact, my company actually produces the boxes your lettuces, spinach and spring mixes are transported.

(Next time you're in the store, look for the little RMP box logo on the bottom of the boxes if you are there when they are stocking.)

We have been eating the lettuce and spinach like crazy around here for the past few weeks.

Yup, it's been back here in CT for a few weeks but I cant' find the baby spinach to save my life. That's my favorite. I guess the baby spinach all grew while they were waiting to clear up the problems. Now we have to wait for a new batch to "hatch".

It's been back in my grocery stores for weeks now. Last week they had "buy one get one free" for large bags! I got four bags! I was happy, but my six year old was not.
