I GOT IN!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Jacque,

Hairspray? Sounds like fun! Yes, I am in North Phoenix. Yes, I have heard that nurse assisting is very hard work, in alot of ways harder than nursing. I am sure it will be an experience. And, I suppose I will find out if my stomach is strong enough! I am taking Anatomy over the internet, so I suppose that won't help!!:)

Congrats! This is cause to celebrate. I can relate. My sister who has been an accountant all of her professional life decided to change careers over a year ago and started nursing school. It was a big decision for her but she is soooo happy now and I am happy for her. I am sure you will be happy too! Good luck, success and happiness with your new career.

Congrats! Thant's excellent :) Unfortunately this year due to my son's situation, we have spent lots of time around drs, nurses, hospitals, and I have such respect for nurses. If I were to do it all over again it's a career I'd really consider.

Congrats!

Why does this thread STOP in April 04 and RESTART Jan 05?

Wow, Wendy! You took me by suprise here! This was a long time ago...

Took the NA classes. Played with lots of poop and briefs and such. Just got out of Anatomy Phys 2 and am now waiting on acceptance into the ADN program to graduate and become an RN in two years. But, I am still unsure of all that. I am going to call all the hospitals and try to shadow a radiology tech, a nuclear med tech, medical laboratory tech, PT, and OT. Those are the positions that really are holding my interest right now. We'll see.

I am likely, since I have been waiting a semester already, to get in either summer or fall to RN school. So......need to make up my mind by then.

BTW........I saw you have been snooping around on Ebay. I would like to ask you something via email, if you can email me personally at [email protected], I'll let you in on it!

Congrats on your pregnancy!! What are you having? That is the next BIG thing I will be considering!! LOL!!

Take care!!!

Janice,

My daughter is a Medical Technologist. (MT or MedTech, or whatever you want to call it ;-) Anyway, she really likes it a lot. She said it is really interesting and you never know what you will come across. The only thing she does not like is that she works midnight shift in a trauma center hospital and it is really had for her to adjust to the sleep schedule. She has only been married a year and her new hubby works dayshift, so .....that is hard on her.

Let us know which direction you decide to take!
