I am sooo mad at

Urban Rebounding extreme. I purchased the dvds as soon as they were available. Then I read in the video fitness forums that a rebounder is now included for the same price. I will never purchase from them again!

Oh, you cant let this go. Contact them, let them know the situation and ask them to send you one for free.

I did write and since it was longer than six weeks they said there was nothing they could do,
They said :

Unfortunately online sales offers change all the time. The offer that you are referring to just began on June 1, 2011, about 6 weeks after you made your purchase of the DVD collection.

When did you purchase your Urban Rebounder?

We regret the inconvenience.

Sincerely,

Urban Rebounder

Awww, man. That's a terrible response. It'd be better for their business to just relent and send you one for free. I'd be upset too.

Some business owners don't seem to understand that nitpicking policies and an unhappy customer can cause serious damage to their business. By contrast, several months ago I wrote to customer service at shopcathe.com when I discovered that the price on a DVD had dropped by $5 the day after I ordered it. I fully expected to be denied a credit because the order had already been filled. Much to my pleasant surprise, I received a prompt reply assuring me that I would be given a $5 credit. It's a small gesture that means a lot to me as a customer. I smiled and thought to myself "Now that's the way to work it!" :)

Sorry, I have to agree with the company on this one. Most adjustment policies that stores/companies have are within 10 days of purchase, which is reasonable. Some even may go as far as 30 days, which is extremely generous. But 6 weeks? That's a very long time. Most stores limit returns to 30 days from date of purchase as well. I don't know of any company or store that would make an adjustment that far after the purchase. You can't get mad at a company because they had a sale two months after you made a purchase. That's the nature of retail business.

I am pissed because, when I ordered 6 weeks ago, I also paid for shipping. So, now for less than I paid, someone gets a free rebounder with free shipping as well as all the dvds. My point is that usually, those who order first tend to get the better deal!

If they offered a discount now, that would not bother me, but to get over $100 in merchandise and shipping really gets my Irish up! Besides its not a sale, its a tremendous promotion which they knew was coming down the pike!

I purchased a too-expensive handbag at the end of April. It's lovely, but now they have a whole new line of handbags to go with it. I would likely have preferred one of the new styles over the one I have. That's the nature of business - introduce one and then come up with more later. Likewise, they introduced the rebounder, then a series of DVDs for those already interested. Now, they need to entice new customers - people perhaps not likely to buy without the added incentive. Buy a new TV now - 6 months from now it will be less money and there will be a "newer, better" version. Unfortunately, it's just the way things work.

Jackie, sorry that happened. I'd be upset too. I also would check into their return policy and if possible, return and then, rebuy...Good Luck!
