How to get the STS dvds out of box without damage them

Ok, this might sound very dumb question. I received my STS package Friday night as SNM e-mail promised. I am very impressed with this set of dvds. Everything is high quality. But one problem for me, I had hard time to take out each individual dvd from Meso 1. I tried to preivew it. But it was so hard to take out. Every time when I did it, I felt like I was going to break the dvd. It was so tight. Is there any tip how to safely take out dvds?

Thanks

As you see in the picture above place your thumb in the center hole and push while you gently lift the edge of the disc with your forefinger. For stubborn discs work your way around all 4 finger holes. It is also very helpful to separate the "leaf" you are trying to remove the disc from the other "leafs' as this will allow the leaf to bend slightly. After 1 or 2 times the discs will remove much easier.

That works well for the discs on the 'front' of each page, but not so much for those on the 'back' of each page.

I was thinking I had no problems, because I was able to remove disc 1 (using the method SNM suggested of lifting the page away from the others before doing what is shown above). Then I got to disc 2, and thought I was going to break it!:(

The same thing happens on every disc on the 'back' of the page (though it's a little better, as I've improved my technique).

I hate to be the voice of descension, but I am very disappointed with the packaging of STS. The dvd's are very difficult to remove, even following the above directions. And IMO the package will not stand the test of time. Maybe I am just grumpy because my power has been out for 6 days, but that's my feeling right now.

They will only be difficult to remove for some the 1st or 2nd time. After that they're pretty easy to remove.

Its a lot easier to take out the back side disc if you first remove the front side disc.

I just received my sts at 6:00pm. I was worried about getting them out from all the posts I've read. I didn't have any trouble. Maybe I have stonger thumbs and press down harder.:)

Thanks for the tip!
I realized yesterday that my attempts at removing the 'back side' discs almost made one of my fingernails pull away from the bed.:( I'm hoping your suggestion will solve that problem.

I found that holding my L hand underneath the page to offer counter-support as my R hand pops it out (of the second page) was super-easy. Maybe that will help some?

I had that same problem last night with the Abs disc. I almost broke my nail (and I just did them) :-(
Hopefully that problem will go away as the cases "loosen up."
