How about a personality trait in yourself that you LIKE???

RE: How about a personality trait in yourself that you ...

I am completely non-judgemental......the phrase "could never happen to me" apply's to no one! :) I also love all that's innocent, meaning animals and children but what ever I do in that area reaps far more in what "I" get then what they do!

I used to be highly organized and thought I was intelligent, then I had a baby at 36 , w..........well........:p hmmmm, what was I talking about ?:+

We'll think of one for you.....

You have a wonderful personality and you are very knowledgeable about fitness and you are very kind to your fellow loyal Cathe followers!!
And you're funny.....

There, that's more than one!!! See how great you are?!?!?

Thanks, Angie. That was wonderful.:)

Actually, while watering the plants and repotting some old plants, I realized that I can be quite nurturing. I also have pretty good intuition.:)

I like that I'm organized, efficient, punctual and reliable.

Helps with running the home, working full-time, being a wife and mom and daughter (sandwich generation!). If I didn't have these qualities I could never accomplish everything I do in a week and workout, too. People wonder how I do it!

I've been told that I am very true to myself..I speak my mind, honest and dont take @#%#... What you see is what you get with me, I find that hard to find in others

I'm a nice person.

I really do not have a nasty bone in my body.

It takes A LOT to really get me mad-LOOONG fuse.

I adore all kinds of animals.

*I am a very spotaneous person.

*I am very laid back. I don't let little things get the best of me.

*I am a lot of fun to go out with. I love to socialize!

*I am a great mom IMO.

I'm the person you want around in an emergency. I always keep my head and know exactly what to do.

Unfortunately, the little things rattle me way too much - rodents, flying cockroaches, health insurance problems . . .

I've been trying really hard to think of something, but it's just not the right week for me to see my merits. I'm looking at other's posts trying to get inspiration, but I'm no fun, can't think on my feet, and I'm usually too busy worrying about my own problems to pay much attention to others. I was an awful daughter and I'm a high maintenance wife. Sometimes I'm organized, but sometimes I'm not. I'm ridiculously moody. My energy level is low. I eat and sleep too much, and I'm usually late for work. I'm not the least bit adventurous. I'm not positive, and I'm not spontaneous. I'm not the least bit efficient, and I'm always procrastinating. I don't think I've ever been in a happy-go-lucky mood in my entire life. I kid you not. This is freaking me out. I'm the first one to say there is something good in everyone, but I can't find a single thing right now that is good about me. HELP!!!! This thread is freaking me out.

Editing to say, okay, I thought of some stuff. I'm very insightful and good at figuring people out, including myself. I'm a survivor and have overcome things in life that would cause most people to give up. People tell me I'm very empathetic. Okay, I feel better now. Whew.

I've got one for ya ~ Nancy's one of the ladies who made me lower my head in shame and realize that I don't need to go to the tanning beds this spring! It doesn't sound to me like you "worry about your own problems so much that you don't pay attention to others." I see you on here all the time "coaching" others! Plus, if I remember correctly, aren't you an attorney? So, you're a woman in a male-dominated field. That's pioneering. That's adventurous. For me, that would require all kinds of meds!!!

Nancy -

I was about ready to take Bobbi's tone of voice and start scolding you! THINK POSITIVE, WOMAN!!! :7

There's really nothing wrong with not being happy-go-lucky or any of the other things that you mentioned. I think it means that you are pretty in control of yourself and you know who you are. And you have contributed some wonderful pieces of information on this board so I would also like to add that you are intelligent and generous. And you have a wonderful sense of humor.

Good thing you thought of something positive or Bobbi would have shown up on your doorstep with an "attitude adjustment" for ya!! :p

Angie:)

Aren't you sweet Sarahinva!

By the way, I'm SOOO glad I helped in talking you out of the tanning beds. Excellent choice!! Tomorrow will be 6 months since my Dad died, and I'll bet he is out there somewhere smiling down on me for influencing you with his story. :D :D

Thank you so much for your lovely post.

Editing to say: By the way, how did the spray tan work out??

Nancy,I have always perceived you as calm and reasonable and sophisticated. You approach things thoughtfully, thoroughly and intelligently. You most definitely can be postive and very encouraging even if you don't apply that to yourself and it's perfectly normal to have negative moments. I do and I have been known to take off on flights of fancy and not come down for quite some time. I like to think that we all offer up such a myriad of different qualities we balance each other in very nice ways. I always enjoy your posts!

I haven't used it yet! It's relatively expensive, so I'm waiting until I am forced to be out in public in shorts. Fortunately, no tan is necessary for teaching Charles Dickens to my freshmen, so I'll just wait until summer for that spray!

Angie and Bobbi,
Thank you guys so much. I apologize for my nutty post today. This must be one of the worst days I've had and I should just ban myself from posting on days like this. Fortunately, they don't happen very often.

You know, I often wish I had a sense of humor more like A-jock's or Bobbi's, but on days like this I have to remember that just because I'm not as funny as someone else does NOT mean that I don't have a sense of humor. A-jock's and Bobbi's quick wits in no way diminish mine. Thank you, Angie, for noticing that I have a sense of humor. It's something I know I really enjoy in others.

You are both very sweet and your posts have actually made my day.

:D <---- Look! I'm smiling!

-Nancy
