High Step delivery before 22/10/03?

Hello,

I was wondering if the high step will be shipped out to customers who have pre-ordered before 22/10/03? I have ordered one to be delivered to a friend's address in the US who will be coming over to the UK on 22/10/03. She has assured me that she will bring the equipment over when she leaves.

I was told when I ordered that it would be 4-6 weeks and it has been that long now.

Please let me know if you can ship it by 22/10/03.

We certainly expect to have the High Step by then, but it will all depend on when Escalade ships us the product. We're supposed to have them well before that date, but we will have to see.

We’ve read and received a lot messages about the High Step and obviously a few misconceptions need to be cleared up.

First, the High Step is available in some stores, but only the 12 inch version (Blue High Step) is being sold. You can’t buy just the “Topper” in stores. The only way to purchase just the top is to buy the “Gray” High Step. Likewise the 14 inch version of the High Step is also not available in stores.

Second, nobody currently has the “Gray” version of the High Step ( This includes the Topper, 12 inch High Step and 14 inch High Step). We have had several reports of other sites selling the gray High Step and many people think these sites have the High Step in stock – I assure you they do not. In fact, as of yesterday the only order that Escalade has for the Gray High Step is ours. I’m sure other companies will soon be placing orders, but no gray High Steps have shipped to anyone as of today and our order will be the first to be shipped.

Hope this clears a few things up.

Thanks for clearing that up. That makes me feel better about preordering the step. I knew there had to be a difference between what you were offering and other stores and I was hoping for a clarification. Anxiously waiting for its arrival!!!

I also want to thank you for posting this! I received an email from the fitness site mentioned in another post on this thread, specifically about that high step! I couldn't understand why they were advertising it, since everything on this site seemed to suggest it was not yet available. I'm buying it from you. It nice not to be misled. Thank you!!
