Hi Everyone!

Hi Cathe! Just wanted to send you a great big THANK YOU for all the ways you've helped me during the many years I've been working out with you. I've been a huge fan from the beginning, and I'm so proud of all your success. Just started STS yesterday, and I can't tell you how excited I am about it! Anyway, thanks so much for your inspiration!:D

Hi Unfetteredpast! Well this depends on how you entered the weight. Here is how we suggest you enter the weight for the 1RM:

When testing for your 1RM, enter the weight of just one dumbbell for the exercise. Then when the number computes and say's, say 30 pounds, that would mean one 30 pound weight PER hand.

I hope this helps! Keep shocking it :)

Howdy, Cathe! I hope you have time for a quick question ... I'm starting my second round of STS (love it!) and was wondering on the workout cards, when using dumbbells, if the weight is 30 (say, for squats), does that mean I use two 30 lbs or two 15 lbs. I'm sure the question has been asked before, but I'm suffering from a brain cloud today.

Hope you had fun at Disney World!

Hi Cathe! No questions just wanted to say hi. I have 2 weeks left of STS and I absolutely loved it. I am soooo much stronger. I looked foward to every workout. (now I just need to get my eating under control:confused:)

Glad you had a great time in disney. I love that place!!

See you in a few

Hi Kathy! Thank you for the warm welcome home. Missed you too. I was a very good girl and used my 70SPF (on face)and 50 SPF (on body).

No questions, just sending a shout-out and a big hug from one of your three favorite Road Trip Coordinators. ;) We missed ya and hope you and the fellas had a fantastic time!!!! Did ya have some time to work on that tan, cutie? :D

Hi and thank you Writegal319! Yes, QVC went well. I believe I will be going back on in late summer but don't know for sure just yet.

HI Cathe- how did QVC go? Will you be selling more of your DVDs/other merch on QVC? As a marketing director, I am really impressed by everything that has been going on with you and the "Cathe brand" as of late! Good going!

I don't have a question this time, I just want to jump in here and shout that....I DID PLYO LEGS today! :D That's all, I feel awesome and just needed to share.:p

Just wanted to say Hi. Still consider myself a newbie with your workouts. I'm still working on the beginner rotation. I have to say you are one tough cookie to workout with.(meant that in a good way) Have fun at the rt and on the tour.

Hi Jolene!

I used to get these in the past for various reasons. I usually press my fingers deep into the pain pocket and exhale with force. I do this about 5 times and if it does not lessen, I reduce my jog to a walk and do it. Then I ease back into my jog after 90 seconds and it seems to do the trick.

Gosh, I remember saving an article in my e-files....let me see if I can find it....BRB....

Found it...
I found this article to be dead on with great advice. I hope the link is still active and the info helpful to you too:

Hi Cathe - can't wait to see you on the RT in just a few more weeks (WOW!) - my sister and I have a fun little surprise to share, hope you get a giggle out of it.

My quick question - I have started running 5Ks with my sister and a few friends (two of them - also sisters - are coming with us for their first ever RT!) - and I am saddled with MASSIVE side cramps almost every time, hampering my results and also being very uncomfortable. It's frustrating. Any tips? I don't drink any water or eat before a run (at least two hours in advance), and have tried stretching, regulating breathing etc., and nothing really helps.

Thanks!

Thank you Heather! We did. I hope you are doing well too. See you very soon :)

Cathe:

I hope you and your boys had a blast and enjoyed some well-deserved rest and relaxation. I am looking forward to seeing you next month! Hugs! :)

P.S. Please come to Texas! :)

Blessings,
Heather B.

THANK YOU Cathe (and for looking for the link!!) - will take this advice and hopefully it helps over time. I know part of it HAS to be a breathing thing, need to adjust to the pace more than I am now and not give in when the going gets tough. I was trying to channel my inner Cathe this morning on my run - it helped (though I still got side cramps! :\ )

See you soon!! :)

Hershey Park is great isn't it? Glad you had fun there :D

Welcome back, Cathe!

We drove to Hershey Park last week, and drove through New Jersey! Kept wondering if we were anywhere near you guys... Have you taken your boys to Hershey before? We had a BLAST!!!

Thanks so much Debbie! I can't believe the road trip is just a few short months away....yippee!

Well, it looks like I signed on just at the right time! I hope your lil' vaca was tons of fun! You totally deserved a break from the speed you have been traveling lately. Welcome back and see you SOON!

Thanks for sharing Dani! Good luck with STS and be prepared for a little bit of soreness in the upcoming weeks, especially from those leg workouts ;) Good sore though :D

Hi Cathe!
Saw that you were rehearsing MMA Shock Cardio today. Hope that all went well today! I bet that is so much fun creating new workouts and then seeing them come to life on the screen!
I've been working out with you since I was around 17ish. I love working out with you. My boyfriend has a number of names for you though! Your workouts humble him that is for sure. He complains about how sore he gets for at least 5 days after working out. I tell him he needs to stay active to work the lactic acid out but he prefers to do nothing. He is 6foot and 155. Nothing to him. He's strong but lacks endurance. He wants to put on more muscle but his furnace burns through calories too fast. Any ideas?

Hi Chrissy! My how time flies. Seems the last time I saw you, you visited for a workout and just as you were leaving, STS arrived to our facility.

Hi Alisha! My sister used to work there too. What an excellent company to be a part of. It is so cute how they refer to all of their employees as supporting cast members :D

I used to work down there at Disney World. Its a great place to take kids. I hope you had a magical day!

Good thing you JUMPED in to say that now Wendy. I don't think you'll be able to do much jumping by tomorrow :D:D:D

I don't have a question this time, I just want to jump in here and shout that....I DID PLYO LEGS today! :D That's all, I feel awesome and just needed to share.:p

Thanks for the quick reply, Cathe! Darn, I was hoping it was going to tell me I only had to use 3 lbs. :p 30 lbs per hand turns out to be correct.

I did STS #1 yesterday and was delighted to see the second time around that I could bang out all of the pushups on my toes. Vast improvement over the first time!
