I'm old, overweight and loved disc 1 !!
I'm 49 1/2, 40# overweight and have not done any weight training for 3 months and did disc 1 tonight at the gym. I have to say that going from one exercise to another made the time fly. It was a little hard getting a bench or ball and the weights I needed quickly in the busy gym but I managed. I also could not do all the push ups so I did as many as I could and did the rest leaning against the wall. I did not bother with doing any 1RM tests. I am used to the gym style workouts so I am familiar with the exercises and the weight I would normally use for a 3 rep set and just grabbed a weight that I thought would do for the reps listed. I guessed very well for most exercises.
So for anyone who thinks they are too out of shape for STS, try it !!!
