I know that some of you will agree with me that pets grieve when they lose a fellow 4 legged buddy. So do any of you have suggestions on what to do to help them get back to themselves?
On Friday I had to put down my australian shepherd, Breeze (black one in my avitar). She went into kidney failure on Thursday and went down hill very rapidly. I know the pain I am feeling and can see that Summer, the golden retriever is also acting different. Now she is an only child. Something she is not use to. Obviously I'm trying to spend more time with her, but I was wondering if there are other things I could do. And yes, I know that getting another dog would probably help, but I am not prepared to do that at this time. Thanks for your suggestions.
