On CNN an entertainment reporter said he'd interviewed Ledger who had relayed to him that he had terrible sleep issues and that constantly hopping back and forth between the US, England, and Australia was destroying his ability to get any sleep. I really think this death was accidental because I remember my late mother had a horrible time getting decent sleep. I used to argue that, since she was retired, she shouldn't care about when she got to bed but she was actually obsessed about her inability to sleep and it clearly drove her nuts. It sounded like Ledger was the same type. If you were to cordon off a section of Times Square and give me a sleeping bag, pillow and blanket I could pass out for nine hours, easy. But from watching my mother, I can tell you insomniacs REALLY suffer. They CAN'T sleep so they pop a pill, then it it's two pills, then three and, before you know it, they're addicts. I think this is VERY common and it all starts with the inability to get to sleep.
