haven't heard much lately about Muscle Max - anyone?

Well I did this workout (can't believe my scratched dvd worked - but they shipping me a pretty sparkely new one soon) today the arm portion then added the abs.

It was a great workout, but I did quite a bit less than Cathe cause well the "bonus section" in GSL w/the 5lbs are a killer!, so I figured I sould dub it down for the first time. I don't think I did my weights heavy enough to feel doms tomorrow, but next time I will! It IS fun and I look forward to doing the whole shabang!
 
This is a tough workout, lower body especially. It is only 14
minutes but it's hard! The upper body is tough, but it is easier
for me to get through, you would be surprised how hard the exercises
with the band are. Overall, I am pleased with this workout and I
am glad that I bought it. I am a fan of Cathe's strength workouts,
her cardio is too complex for me, she never disappoints! I am
thinking of ordering her Gym Styles as well.

Love MM!!! Did it yesterday for the first time and feel great and a little sore today. The biceps work was so good that I could barely do the triceps extensions/dips, because my biceps were too fatigued (but I managed). I love this video and the Gym Styles, as well. I'm with you teedums, not a fan of her cardio. I tried to do IMAX3 and had to give up because her choreography is so complex and she provides no instruction or even cueing as to what it is the steps she calls out mean. So, that's one video that will sit unused at the bottom of the pile. LoMax is like that too, but a little less complex - eventually I'll figure it out, but I'll have to schedule extra time in outside of my workouts to "learn" the bloody thing. I do really like KickMax for cardio, however. The bursts are amazing and really get you good.
 
I love "Muscle Max" -- it is very different from Muscle Endurance or Maximum Intensity Strength.

It is harder, yet easier than other Cathe total box strength workouts.

I love the music and I love the use of the resistance bands, but I am frustrated because I can't find 6 foot bands and I know some day I will need new bands!

I have done Muscle Max once and I loved it! Can't wait to do it again. I have been doing GS's, each, once a week and then either Muscle Max or Hi Step Challenge as my second weight workout of the week. Then the next week...GS's and whichever one (either MM or HSC) that I didn't do the week before.

I think MM is my favorite full body workout.....(and I love all of her total body workouts). But at the moment...this is my favorite! :7 I like using the bands and I also like the fact that the moves are a little slower and I can go heavier. I feel like this will be really good because in another rotation I can use the faster paced endurance total body workouts and really change things up to shock my muscles!

Thank you for the band info. I went to the site you listed and there are many 6 ft. bands, which one is used for Cathe's Muscle Max? I gues there a different strenghts? THANKS. I do not have Muscle max yet, but am orderring it next. Trying to give my wallet and bank account a break since i discovered cathe :>)))))

Cathe uses the green one which are medium strength in all of the HC's except stretch Max hich is the pink. You can loosen the resistance on the green one for the stretches. It goes from green medium to purple heavy to silver extra heavy. Pink is light.
