Good morning all,
Oooh, music. That's a toughie. I hope you find your harmony soon August.
You guys are crazy on the board again today... I love it!!
And I have the whole day off, so expect a bunch from me too.
So Ryan and I are thinking an August wedding (that means you have to show up August)
. And a Hawaiian honeymoon. We've been to Hawaii before though, and I'd kinda like to try a different tropical destination. We don't want to spend a fortune, but I want it to be special and FUN. Any ideas guys?
But that also means I have 5 months to lose this weight. I want to have the sexiest bod on the beach. I've been trying to take this extra weight off for two years, and this time, I'm going to do it. I want to lose at least 20 pounds.
HELP! How can I do it? I'm thinking about joining a weight loss program, like LA Weight Loss, Jenny, WW, or maybe just joining a gym. I think I need more structure in my weight loss; unfortunately, I don't think I can do it alone. I know that I can trust myself to work out (particularly if I had a nice gym with a sauna to go to) But, I don't think that I can trust myself to eat perfectly. I don't have time to count calories... I just want someone to tell me what to eat. But at the same time, if I don't want to eat the 'scheduled' thing, I wanna have options. And I really wanna focus on fresh, organic foods.
OK, I'll stop stressing out now.
August - you are cracking me up with your posts! So you are way more than 12 hours ahead of me. Cool.
Jen - I love going to the eye doctor... Weird, I know. But enjoy your optometrist visit anyway.
Michele - I like those sandals. They look like they'll keep your feet cool while providing a lot of support. I'm going to the dentist on Friday for a painful tooth, so I might be enjoying dental work too before I know it.
Robin - Thanks for worrying about me... Sorry that you're having the Menopause Blues. Maybe August could write a song about that to cheer you up! Please vent your blues here... we'll help you through it.
Cora - Yeah, I felt like I should've just passed him a note like this:
If you want to marry me, check this box:
If not, check this box (and pack your stuff):
Just kidding, kinda. LOL
That's very healthy that you just eat fish. I think I'm going to try that for my upcoming weight loss journey. I don't really like chicken or beef or pork that much anyway. Plus, then I'll have more reason to eat sushi!
And those twins are Mariah's nephews twins...
Deb - Thanks! I'm pretty excited (and for some reason I didn't think I would be - maybe because we've already been together six years). But its still fun!!!
Diane - Thanks! Dang, your job sounds like a pain in the arse. I once had a hankerin to become a lawyer, but that passed pretty fast. Good thing too. Because I think I would've quit by now if I was you! You must be looking forward to maternity leave. Please post another belly pic soon. I think I might want to have a belly too, once I lose this belly! If that makes sense...
Becky - I love your doggie story. My parents got a couple mutts when I was around 13, and they're still going strong, 14 years later! I was renting my parents old house and taking care of the dogs up until 3 months ago, and now they're staying with my uncle and his wife. They're so wonderful though. I LOVE LOVE LOVE dogs. I wish I could have 10 of them, and I probably will once Ryan and I purchase our land and build a house. (and 10 mini goats, and 20 chickens, and ...) Right now, I have two dogs and they are SO spoiled too. They had some ice cream cake with us last night (just licking the bowls when we were done). they love to help with the dishes!! LOL It sounds like your doggie had a charmed life. That's awesome.
Shelley - I understand about the bracelet. You've wanted it for so long, now that you could have it, you feel like you've already owned it for a while. We always want what we can't have more.
I always tell Ryan not to buy me expensive things, mostly because we're both still broke college students. But it just seems so excessive. Like my engagement/wedding ring will probably be able to feed a small third world country for a day. I haven't gotten it yet, but I'm sure it will cost at least a couple hundred or more. I feel that I've waited a long time for it, so I'm going to get a nice one, but I still think its excessive. We AREN'T getting separate wedding bands though. That's just a way for the jewelry stores to sell you more stuff.
I think the wedding's going to be in early August and we'll honeymoon on my birthday (August 18th).
Terri - Thanks! I'm really excited about planning it, but a little nervous too. I've never done this before or even been involved in a wedding before. I bet you gals have a wealth of knowledge that I'll be happy to call on! :7
Dana - Thanks for the encouragement on the ring. I hope I don't automatically like the most expensive one. I doubt I will though... there's something about gawdy rings that make me wanna hurl. No offense to anyone with a gawdy ring. Maybe its because I don't have the money to ever get one? Naw, I just think gawdy jewelry is pretty unnatural and I'm a hippy-chick at heart. How's your day going?
Heather - Don't stop posting!! Once the PMS starts to affect all of us, we won't post so much. Hang on...
:+
Oh, AUGUST - Its called a pescatarian (spelling?) if you are vegatarian and eat fish. Go for it girl! Its better for the planet, too.
OK, I'm sure I missed someone.... Sorry! I'll BBL to remedy that situation.
:*
