HATE - Mar 14

Shelley, I think I like the idea you came up with awhile back to nuke my house and that's probably what it will take to get rid of these ants. Oh no, I won't let August sing to them because she'll encourage them to stay:p .

My mouth feels fine, thank you for asking, but you can still see several areas of inflammation. I'm supposed to use this disgusting gel for 3 weeks;( . Then I have to go back for a recheck and to get started on ANOTHER crownx(

I missed Dana, too!!

Hey Dana:* :* . I think your little post got lost in the posting frenzy:7

Shelley - Texas to meet your Cathe friends? How fun!

And I'll be happy to sing to your ants, Michele, just you tell me and I'll warm up!

Michele - Those sandals are going to look so cute on you, and they're going to feel so cozy.

I hate shopping period.

That reminded me that I have PMS.

I'm writing a song for someone else right now. Or rather, I'm not being able to write a song for someone else right now. Kripe, and it's now 12:13am. The deadline is Monday, but I have clothing days on Friday and Sunday,...........

Michele - Oh, that's good to hear that your mouth is doing better. Mouth hurts are just the worst.

Oh my gosh-oh my gosh---Arista-CONGRATULATIONS!!!!!!!!! If I had known you guys were all up last night I wouldn't have gone to bed at 10-

August- I'm right there with ya on the rest week (mines been the 3 week version) ha-

Robin-how did your painting go yesterday? (or was it the day before)-

Michele-I'm going to look up that 16 week (is that 4 months-really?)-wght loss rotation but I have promised my time to Tony for the next 3 months-yup it's gonna happen soon-I feel the call to exercise again-

Diane- how are you feeling lately?-

Heather-I'm with you & many others here-cardio rocks!-

Mariah-congrats to you and your babies (is this a fertile thread or what?)-

Hi to everyone else-Dana,Jen, Shelley,Becky,Terri, Corrie, Kara and anyone else---deb

Diane peeks in...Did someone say something about shoe shopping???!!!??

CONGRATULATIONS Arista!!!! That is so cool that you asked him. I can't wait to see your ring!

Holy smokes, you girls are chatty. I am so busy right now I hate it. I wish I could just stay home and rest, I am so tired. Tomorrow I will be away from the computer all day again on a document review. This time I will make up some excuse not to lift the boxes myself and make other people lift the boxes. But I can't tell the people I am going with that I am preggo, they are the biggest gossips in the whole firm and would tell everyone.

Michele -

>Oh crap, this did not come out the way it was supposed to.

LMAO! What on earth conversation are you having there with yourself?

Deb - I'm glad you were able to weed through the posts to find the most valuable one about Arista's successful day!

That's great that you're starting to feel motivated to work out. I'm hoping doing nothing until Sunday will kick me back in gear.

Note to self : I'm talkin about this upcoming Sunday. Please.

LMAO at Diane!!!

>Did someone say something about shoe shopping???!!!??

How funny that she would instinctively smell the talk of shoe shopping and come check the threads today. :7

YAY!!!!! CONGRATULATIONS ARISTA!!!!!!!! How exciting for you - you sounded like you were still surrounded by a cloud of disbelief last night :)
>> "OK, do you like me enough to ask me the big question or what?"
LOL - this is so cute, like you are in elementary school passing notes! LOL! I think he LOOOOOVVVVESSSS you lady!!!! :);):)

August - thanks to you I thought I was going to have to sit reading 2 hours of posts like the day before! :p I was happy to see the little 1 sentence posts you were sending to avoid work. So watcha doing now? Sleeping? I don't eat meat or poultry. The only creatures I eat are fish and some bacteria in my yoghurt. I would love to say that I am a vegetarian, but I don't like beans enough to give up fish as a protein source (I tried.)

Hi Heather! We want you to stick around - you BELONG here 'cause you are just so funny! I love reading your posts, so don't give up on us.

Welcome Becky! Sorry I missed you before, but I was gone over the weekend and it took me a couple of days just to read all the posts I missed!

Jen - I checked your picture trail, and I bet you really don't have any fat on those tiny hips and thighs!!!! You look sooo fit. (Hmmm, just saw your recipe for the little stuffed tomatoes - EVIL!!! Good thing I don't eat meat or I would have to run out and get some bacon and mayo!)

Robin - Metaline Falls is just down the road! Arista and I could meet you for lunch if you had time.

Diane - my girls ARE pretty aborable. (I was laughing pretty hard at August's post about you sounding like Scooby Doo! :)) I just can't deny it, sorry! There are tough days, but for the most part, they are my sunshine and can make me smile when I am my crabbiest. Just you wait - you'll wonder what you did with your time before you had a little one to entertain you!!!

Terri - I LOVED Kathy Smith. She introduced me to step back in the early 90s and was a great way to get back into fitness last year. I started with her first step w/o then went to her power step and THEN I was ready for introduction to Cathe. I might have been discouraged if I had tried to start with Cathe - especially before I had any balance or coordination.
I'm glad things went well with the lawyer. It will be interesting to see how she responds.

Mariah - I missed a post somewhere. Are the twins yours??? How can you possibly be posting with new twins to take care of !!!)

Dana - Hi!

Shelley - I am sending some of our warm spring weather your way! I have never been to Ontario and I don't know when spring is supposed to come your way - hopefully soon!

Hi to any and all I have missed. I need to go workout now and then clean house!

>The only creatures I eat are fish and some bacteria in my yoghurt.

LMAO! Love it.

I hear you on the beans. And I love fish so much. But more and more I'm thinking I don't need any kind of meat in my life. Or mouth. Isn't there something like "vegetarian" for people who are vegetarian and eat fish?

(I know the rest of y'all also said "Your girls are so aborable!" to yourselves in your best Scooby Doo voices. You can't hide it from me. :D )

Oh, and, I'm still not sleeping. :7

I...I love chicken. I eat it like 4 or 5 times a week. I can't eat seafood except for canned tuna. That's the only seafood that doesn't gag me. I can't do vegetarian at all. Oh Gotta go, bug man is here.

Michele-I'm with you on the seafood-I never ate it growing up (even tho my mon's from Maine) and now my poor hubby who is cuban never gets fish-I'm trying to put more of it in our diets but I also like tuna fish--deb

Hey lets see if we can get upto 100 posts today! come on August-you know your not working--August...August...--deb

Good morning all,

Oooh, music. That's a toughie. I hope you find your harmony soon August.

You guys are crazy on the board again today... I love it!!

And I have the whole day off, so expect a bunch from me too.

So Ryan and I are thinking an August wedding (that means you have to show up August):p . And a Hawaiian honeymoon. We've been to Hawaii before though, and I'd kinda like to try a different tropical destination. We don't want to spend a fortune, but I want it to be special and FUN. Any ideas guys?

But that also means I have 5 months to lose this weight. I want to have the sexiest bod on the beach. I've been trying to take this extra weight off for two years, and this time, I'm going to do it. I want to lose at least 20 pounds.

HELP! How can I do it? I'm thinking about joining a weight loss program, like LA Weight Loss, Jenny, WW, or maybe just joining a gym. I think I need more structure in my weight loss; unfortunately, I don't think I can do it alone. I know that I can trust myself to work out (particularly if I had a nice gym with a sauna to go to) But, I don't think that I can trust myself to eat perfectly. I don't have time to count calories... I just want someone to tell me what to eat. But at the same time, if I don't want to eat the 'scheduled' thing, I wanna have options. And I really wanna focus on fresh, organic foods.

OK, I'll stop stressing out now. :p :p :p

August - you are cracking me up with your posts! So you are way more than 12 hours ahead of me. Cool.

Jen - I love going to the eye doctor... Weird, I know. But enjoy your optometrist visit anyway.

Michele - I like those sandals. They look like they'll keep your feet cool while providing a lot of support. I'm going to the dentist on Friday for a painful tooth, so I might be enjoying dental work too before I know it.

Robin - Thanks for worrying about me... Sorry that you're having the Menopause Blues. Maybe August could write a song about that to cheer you up! Please vent your blues here... we'll help you through it.

Cora - Yeah, I felt like I should've just passed him a note like this:
If you want to marry me, check this box:

If not, check this box (and pack your stuff):

Just kidding, kinda. LOL

That's very healthy that you just eat fish. I think I'm going to try that for my upcoming weight loss journey. I don't really like chicken or beef or pork that much anyway. Plus, then I'll have more reason to eat sushi!

And those twins are Mariah's nephews twins...

Deb - Thanks! I'm pretty excited (and for some reason I didn't think I would be - maybe because we've already been together six years). But its still fun!!!

Diane - Thanks! Dang, your job sounds like a pain in the arse. I once had a hankerin to become a lawyer, but that passed pretty fast. Good thing too. Because I think I would've quit by now if I was you! You must be looking forward to maternity leave. Please post another belly pic soon. I think I might want to have a belly too, once I lose this belly! If that makes sense...

Becky - I love your doggie story. My parents got a couple mutts when I was around 13, and they're still going strong, 14 years later! I was renting my parents old house and taking care of the dogs up until 3 months ago, and now they're staying with my uncle and his wife. They're so wonderful though. I LOVE LOVE LOVE dogs. I wish I could have 10 of them, and I probably will once Ryan and I purchase our land and build a house. (and 10 mini goats, and 20 chickens, and ...) Right now, I have two dogs and they are SO spoiled too. They had some ice cream cake with us last night (just licking the bowls when we were done). they love to help with the dishes!! LOL It sounds like your doggie had a charmed life. That's awesome.

Shelley - I understand about the bracelet. You've wanted it for so long, now that you could have it, you feel like you've already owned it for a while. We always want what we can't have more.

I always tell Ryan not to buy me expensive things, mostly because we're both still broke college students. But it just seems so excessive. Like my engagement/wedding ring will probably be able to feed a small third world country for a day. I haven't gotten it yet, but I'm sure it will cost at least a couple hundred or more. I feel that I've waited a long time for it, so I'm going to get a nice one, but I still think its excessive. We AREN'T getting separate wedding bands though. That's just a way for the jewelry stores to sell you more stuff.

I think the wedding's going to be in early August and we'll honeymoon on my birthday (August 18th).

Terri - Thanks! I'm really excited about planning it, but a little nervous too. I've never done this before or even been involved in a wedding before. I bet you gals have a wealth of knowledge that I'll be happy to call on! :7

Dana - Thanks for the encouragement on the ring. I hope I don't automatically like the most expensive one. I doubt I will though... there's something about gawdy rings that make me wanna hurl. No offense to anyone with a gawdy ring. Maybe its because I don't have the money to ever get one? Naw, I just think gawdy jewelry is pretty unnatural and I'm a hippy-chick at heart. How's your day going?

Heather - Don't stop posting!! Once the PMS starts to affect all of us, we won't post so much. Hang on...

:+

Oh, AUGUST - Its called a pescatarian (spelling?) if you are vegatarian and eat fish. Go for it girl! Its better for the planet, too.

OK, I'm sure I missed someone.... Sorry! I'll BBL to remedy that situation.
:*

I don't eat fish either really - except I will eat shrimp on occassion if it is the only thing available or crab meat (like in crab cakes). I have not liked beans too much since being preggo, and they are a huge part of the Eat to Live plan. DH still eats them every night, but I have incorporate more meat now that I am preggo. Hopefully I can't go back to more vegetarian after the baby.

My mom and step dad have been on Eat to Live (sort of modified version, my mom has Crohn's and needs to eat more meat) and my mom has lost 20 lbs since January and my stepdad has lost about 25 lbs!!! My stepdad eats healthy during the week, and then eats unhealthy on the weekends. He said the other day that he felt gross after eating unhealthy food now sometimes and that he is starting to realize how much better it feels to eat healthy!! How exciting is that? My mom seems to like it, and has even started walking for exercise and doing a fitness log that she sends to my sister and I.

Arista - Your ring is so pretty!! I bet you stare at it all day!!! Well, I hope you have a belly soon then too!! I will have to take some more belly pics, I think it looks about the same, but a little harder than before if that makes sense. Before I was a little doughy looking because I had been eating only carbs (mac and cheese, mashed potatos) for weeks.

Diane-thats great that your parents have lost the weight-I think you and I read the book Eat to Live around the same time- it's good to know you still refer to it-I think I could easily become a vegetarian--deb
