HATE - Mar 14

Arista, I agree with Shelley. I've never been to Italy but so many people rave about it. I'd love to go to Sardinia, or drive along the Amalfi Coast, or go north to Genoa. My cousin's favorite place in the world is Lake Como. He said it's like heaven on earth.

Diane, I also agree with Shelley that Canada is gorgeous and would make a great vacation spot.

Shelley - I have heard that Canada has great medical care. And don't y'all get a year of maternity leave too! No fair. However, I think I would need a passport under the new rules (not sure about Canada) and my passport is not updated (under my maiden name still, I need to get that fixed). And before I can get my new passport, I need to get an new social security card (lost it somehow AT HOME - may have somehow thrown it out during a flylady frenzy). So I don't think I can leave the country at all under the new rules.

Yes, I am planning on being a SAHM mom. But recently DH and I decided that I would go back for a couple months after my maternity leave to get my year end bonus at the end of February. My bonus would be pretty big this year, so it would definitely be worth it. Probably enough for a downpayment on a new house! Then I would quit after I get my bonus. It should workout nicely because if I have the baby on time, maternity leave would end Dec. 22nd. So I would be able to go into the holidays and New Years and still have a lot of time off. It usually takes about a month to get your case load busy again so it should only be about a month or so of being actually busy at work. So should workout well. We will just need to hire a nanny for those few months.

Thats funny. I ended up being post 103 responding to post 93.

ETA: by the way, I am eating a big piece of birthday cake right now }( }( }( I am evil today.

Yeesh-I thought no one was listening to me today-good job folks-what can we do next-tp someones house??

hey michele-I agree with Shelley-Sardinia is beautiful and so is the island of Ana Capri but my absolute favorite place is Portofino-

Diane-a babymoon-how cute -I never got to do that-maybe my husband and I can celebrate the beginning of my pre-menopausal state (what would that be called?)

August-wake up--deb

OH No i just wrote a long note and lost it dang

NO the twins are not mine LOLOL im 61 years old Hell if they were mine id not be posting id be pulling my hair out instead. Or basking in my wealth for having a baby at 61 after my tubes were tied almost 20 years ago

My mother passed away, my daughter got her adopted child, my nephew had twins, Its kind of like one person leaves this earth and many more replace her.

Arista How about Croatia there are many many beautiful places to go
I have a trip semi-planned for next year, but it will be a backpacking trip. I want to fly into Venice, train to Zagreb, then bus and train down the coast to Split with a detour to Mostar, (if i can locate some people i knew in the states who live there) then to Dubrovnik, Then ferry across and train up the coast of Italy back to Venice and home. We will see if i can make my dream come true...
But either Croatia, Italy, or Greece has some beautiful places for a honeymoon

OK, I'm popping back in. Alright now, who said it was easy to get back in shape after having a baby?!! (Insert fake outrage.)

Michele - We made a deal! If I exercise tonight, you have to, too.
I'm holding you accountable.:)

Mariah - Congrats for your nephew's twins. They're super fun.

Diane - I would definitely suggest a "Babymoon". I was HUGE when my husband and I went to FL for ours (second trimester), and all I did was float like a beached whale in the pool.

Later Haters!:7

I HATE it when you have fun without me! I, however, was busy working out.

I've only had time to skim.

Diane, congrats on 1000 posts.

Michele, go workout.

Our trip to Philly has been postponed. Jay's uncle died last night and the funeral is Sat. We're hoping to rescedule for next weekend. The beeper is beeping, the broccali is done. Later, you crazy haters.

Robin, I'm so sorry about Jay's uncle. Please extend my most heartfelt condolences to Jay and his family.

I'm relieved that you were able to reschedule your plans. I think you could all use a little fun and relaxation.

MSY, Shelley, Heather -- I'm done. I did my workout and I'm about to reward myself with a nice cool shower. I did Basic Step and I cannot believe how hard it was! Cathe's BEGINNER step workout nearly did me in;(

I've learned the value of cross training, that's for sure. I haven't done step in such a long time and I can see that getting back into it is going to be difficult but necessary if I want results. I'll never part with Eli, but he's going to have to share me with Cathe from now on. May we please have a moment of silence to reflect on the magnitude of my epiphany?

Michele- It was a check-up, of course they are another -.25 worse than last year. Working at a computer all day really does a number on your eyes. When I started working at Wells 10 years ago I didn't wear contacts, now I'm up to a -3 in each eye, oh well!

Hey does anyone know why my time for my posts is showing an hour off since the time change? I checked my user preference & it is showing the right time zone & my clock on my computer is correct.

Robin- I'm sorry to hear about Jay's uncle...is Jay the father to your GS? My condolences to you & your whole family & Jay.

Sorry everyone else but WAY too many posts to keep up! Wow, did anyone else stop by just to tell you guys you were nuts today!!
