No way.

August- Yeah, what Shelley said! When I get home to my PC which is always on & I'm always logged into Cathe on one browser I will have to log in again since I logged in here & logged off. :)

Tamilee Webb's Tigher Assets are 2 easier w/o but I like them as add on's or a lot of times I'll do the 30 minute Cardio Blast with another 30-45 minute leg/glute work. Check them out on collage, I really like them. Weight loss uses the step & weights, short & way easier than Cathe but as I said good add on's or for days you need something easier.

Shelley- Sorry about the PMS. UGH!!

I get it (about logging on and off). What a dork I am.

Ooh, the Assets with Weight Loss looks kind of interesting.

You are not a dork! Yes, I do really like both of them. I do cardio blast more often just b/c I have to take it easy with the step due to my thighs gaining muscle easy, but how she uses the step in weight loss is a lot different than how Cathe uses it. I haven't done weight loss in a long time so now I want to do it, that'll be my afternoon w/o today!

I am tired of being here....UGH! I will for sure hit Target & PetsMart before going home, it is raining here so once I get home I want to workout and not have to leave the house again since today is my mental health day away from work!!!

That's nice that you could take a day off of work to chill (and get oil, heh). Is it going to be much longer before you can get out of there?

Well crap, I am not going have much time to play today. I've spent half of my morning on holdx(

August, I was splitting a gut over your conversation with DP and Mr Choco Raisin. DP's awfully quiet -- LMAO! --So, is the father cute?:p I've often thought about using my high step as a footstool:7 --I'm lovin your smilies!

Heather, I'm so envious of your shoe find!! Cute, fits well, comfy, AND cheap! AND a bathing suit! Wow, wow, wow!!! Can you find a picture of the bathing suit online? I'd love to see it. --Just for the record, Aunt Flo didn't visit, she just dumped her kid off to pester me while she visited with August.x(

Shelley, that restaurant looks AWESOME. If I ever come and visit you (and I will one of these days) that's where I want to go! I'm so excited about your SO spending the whole frigging weekend with you. It's about time!

I wonder if Mr. Cranky has reviewed 300 yet? DH and I always check out Mr. Cranky's reviews. We LOVE him! OMG, he's so funny. The best rating he ever gives a movie is 1 bomb -- LMAO!

http://www.mrcranky.com/

Here's Mr. Cranky's rating scale:
* 1 bomb - Almost tolerable
* 2 bombs - Consistently annoying
* 3 bombs - Will require therapy after viewing
* 4 bombs - As good as a poke in the eye with a sharp stick
* Ka-BOOM! - So godawful that it ruptured the very fabric of space and time with the sheer overpowering force of its mediocrity
* Nuke - Proof that Jesus died in vain

Uh oh -- I just looked up 300. Mr Cranky gave it 3 bombs - :7

Robin, I'm in awe of your epiphany. You haters need to read Robin's first post in the <--- thread today! It's inspiring!

Jen, *GASP* My car is waaaaaay overdue for an oil change. Oh crap, now I need to make another phone callx(

"False Hottie Signals" -- LMAO! LMAO! LMAO! Jen, that link was a hoot.

I have to run, folks. I have errands to run, a few more calls to make, and I want to get my cardio out of the way. I'm going to do step again -- a steady state because I did HIIT yesterday. I'm kind of leaning towards BS again just because I could barely finish it last week and I want to see if I can get through it today without too much hardship.

Hello to everyone else and I'll see y'all later:* :*

Edited to correct blatant spelling errors:eek:

Enjoy Mr, Cranky!! Byeeeee!

OMG I LOVE MR. CRANKY!!! He sounds like ME:)

All Chris's friends are utter geeks, and therefore all of them absolutely adored this movie. I will be nice to him and go. I might enjoy it. I loved Gladiator (but that was Russell Crowe and well-acted). And if I don't, then he owes me BIG TIME, baby.}(

Wait a minute.... it's my birthday weekend. So he owes me big time anyway!

BWAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!!!

I need to lie down.

We finally did our taxes last night...and we owe a TON of money. Thousands and thousands. :( :( :(

So I guess no more vacation for us before the baby comes (and probably until a long time after that). I hate taxes!!!

Ok, my vent is done, now I have to go scrounge around for some food before lunch. So hungry all the time.

Okay, I am home now & have all the crap I bought put away.

I have no idea what those links are I posted earlier... there must have been a problem with the PC @ Landmark...sorry about that, this is what I meant to copy!

Terri- If you see this check out the links above... Cindy Whitmarsh & Jessica Janc are the other 2 in these workouts with Tamilee Webb. That is how I found out about Cindy and ended up ordering her Ultimate Fat Burner w/o.

For the others who may not know what I'm talking about to Terri... check out www.ultrafitnutrition.com, the workout Cindy has I really like, quick so good when short on time but also makes you sweat & burn calories.

Okay, off to Powerstrike now. I will BBL once w/o is done & showered. August, what time is it there now? Guess I could check out the world clock on my cell... anyway, hopefully you'll still be around in a hour or two... :)

Woo hoo! Shelley's bday is coming!

Diane - Oooh, that means you MADE lots of money. That's a good thing, isn't it?

Jen - LMAO! I kind of wondered why you randomly put the link for beer goggles. I figured it's your day off and stuff so.....LOL.

It's 1:15am over here, and I'm wide awake! I had three naps today, after all!

August
You are way too funny about the foot stool
I prob would rarely use them but id love a step and a stability ball
or maybe i should just start back at the gym where i paid and they have those things

Jen
What about Docs appt for today?????

How do you gals keep up with personals
I tried to minimize so i could respond and then come back...It disappeared so i just write notes to self and respond that way
but of course i miss half of things cause i am too lazy to keep taking notes
I am going to post another awe inspiring thing If it becomes something people dont want please tell me

Subject: Gratitude

By Oprah Winfrey

I live in the space of thankfulness - and I have been rewarded
a million times over for it. I started out giving thanks for small
things, and the more thankful I became, the more my bounty increased.

That's because what you focus on.... expands, and when you focus on
the goodness in your life, you create more of it.

Opportunities, relationships, even money flowed my way when I
learned to be grateful no matter what happened in my life.

"Say thank you!" Those words from my friend and mentor Maya
Angelou turned my life around.

One day about ten years ago, I was sitting in my bathroom with the door
closed and the toilet lid down, booing and a hooing on the phone so
uncontrollably
that I was incoherent.

"Stop it! Stop it right now and say thank you!" Maya chided.
"But - you don't understand," I sobbed.
To this day, I can't remember what it was that had me so far gone, which
only proves the point Maya was trying to make. "I do understand," she
told me. "I want to hear you say it now. Out loud."

"Thank you.'" Tentatively, I repeated it:
"Thank you - but what am I saying thank you for?"

"You're saying thank you," Maya said, "because your faith is so strong
that you don't doubt that whatever the problem, you'll get through it.

You're saying thank you because you know that even in the eye of the
storm, God has put a rainbow in the clouds.

You're saying thank you because you know there's no problem created that
can compare to the Creator of all things.

"Say thank you!"

So I did - and still do. Only now I do it every day. I kept a gratitude
journal,
as Sarah Ban Breathnach suggests in Simple Abundance; list at least five
things
that I'm grateful for.

My list includes small pleasures: the feel of Kentucky bluegrass under
my feet (like damp silk); a walk in t he woods with all nine of my dogs
and my cocker spaniel Sophie trying to keep up; cooking fried green
tomatoes with Stedman and eating them while they're hot; reading a good
book and knowing another awaits.

My thank-you list also includes things too important to take for
granted:
an "okay" mammogram, friends who love me, 25 years at the same job
(and loving it more than the first day I started), a chance to share my
vision
for a better life, staying centered, having financial security.

I won't kid you, having money for all the things I want is a blessing.
But as I look back over my journals, which I've kept since I was
15 years old, 99 per cent of what brought me real joy had nothing
to do with money.

(It had a lot to do with food, however.)

It's not easy being grateful all the time. But it' s when you feel
least
thankful that you are most in need of what gratitude can give you:

PERSPECTIVE : Just knowing you have that daily list to complete allows
you to look at your day differently, with an awareness of every sweet
gesture and kind thought passed your way. When you learn to say thank
you, you see the world anew.

And as Meister Eckhart so eloquently stated: "If the only prayer you
ever say in your whole life is 'Thank you God’, which would suffice."

Have a safe and blessed day!

May you have more blessings from God than your arms can carry.

There's so much good in the worst of us
and so much bad in the best of us,
that it doesn't behoove any of us,
to talk about the rest of us.

Hey August! Ya know what is playing on the radio right now, It's Tricky by Run DMC - do you remember that old school??? Ha! Your DP sure is quiet, guess I know who wears that pants in this relationship. Your step as a foot rest? What a good idea. Gabe uses mine for a racetrack every now and then. Oh wait, the song changed, now it is Queen singing, I Want to Ride my Bicycle, WTH I've never heard this song before. I could've wrote this, I want to do my exercises, I want to do my exercises. HAAA!!!!

Diane - sorry you owe big time in taxes but like August said, that means you made lots of money through the year, right? Are you craving anything particular?

Michele - I don't know anyone (well maybe a telemarker) who spends as much time on the phone as you! And I know that you would rather not right!

Jen - I had to laugh, beergoggles? I didn't open it b/c I'm at work and I don't want any unexpected surprises. LOL I took your advice and bought the LC BBQ chicken (while I was thinking Jen suggested this) and I also got the spinach/mushroom deepdish pizza and also the LC butternut squash ravioli. Maybe next week I"ll have them. I've got leftovers for lunch this week.

Terri - nope, we didn't even go looking at Treadmills. DH bought a truck instead. Don't even go there! Don't wanna talk about it. Did all the snow in MN melt yet?

Deb - I would love to go to Maine with you. No kiddos or DH's though. Do you eat seafood? Wouldn't that be fun? I am not a lay on the beach type of person though - I love to go, go, go. I need a vacation!!!!! OMG this is so weird - George Costanza was on the radio, you know how those goofy radio shows play clips of tv and stuff, and I heard George saying, rather yelling, I was in the pool, I was in the pool (remember the shrinkage episode???).

Corrie - how are you doing? When will your DH be home again?

Shelley - that food sounds absolutely yummy at your restaurant. Sounds like you're going to have a fun weekend.

Arista - how's the eating plan going?

Mariah - hey where are you this morning?

Robin - I love your epiphany - you are such a sweetheart. Did you finish the windows? Did you have a nice evening with your DH?

Heather - wow, what a great day you had. I hate, hate, hate trying to find a bathing suit and you found one, and a great one at that. As for the shoes, you've got a serious addiction. HA! I too gave up sweets for lent and one of the teachers I work with got me a Dark Chocolate Bar from the Hershey Chocolate Factory when she took her class there. So it has been in my desk drawer for about 2 weeks. I'm not even tempted by it but I can't wait to have some.

Nothing going on here. I didn't do any workouts over the weekend. Back on track today though. Not sure what I'm going to do tonight. I didn't do 2 of the workouts that I had planned for Fri & Sat so maybe one of those??? I don't know. Right now I could use a nap.

Hi to everyone else!!! I guess I better get back to work.

Mariah - Thank you for taking the time out to type out that nice excerpt from Oprah's writing. I enjoyed reading it. I never read (except for the posts here :) ) so I appreciate your writing out things that are worth reading and thinking about.

Dana - Run DMC! Woo hoo! What? You never heard that Queen song?! Ooh, hey, yeah, the step would make a good race car track now that I'm thinking about the grooves in it. Smart kid.

>I was in the pool, I was in the pool (remember the shrinkage episode???)

LMAO! I sure remember!

I can't believe you're not even tempted by your dark chocolate bar. Wow. You're strong.

For that matter, I can't believe Heather bought a chocolate bar in order to eat it a week from now. I could never buy it and have it in my cupboard for a week!

I sure don't need a nap. I need some sleepies. I used all mine up this afternoon. :-(

Actually, Pedro needs more juice.
